Description
Privilege
My favorite beach my treasure beach please go every weekend thanks
A spot youd want to keep going back to. Bring your liquor and drink responsibly!
Little Dunns river falls is s cool Oasis, very relaxing spot with good Vibes. Music is always blasting and the water is very refreshing.Upon entry you will be asked to pay a small donation fee of $100 just to upkeep the place. Its right across from the main Dunns river n near Mystic mountain.Coming from the toll at round about its to your left but coming from Ochi Rios town it is on your Right.
MoreIncredible views and standing under the falls did wonders for my neck
Little Dunns River is the cheaper version for Dunns River Falls also in Ochio Rios, Jamaica. They have a miniature falls and the water is clean and great with swings in the trees and rafts. There is a bar on premise where you can also drink and relax. The cost to enter is just $100 for adults and $50 for children under 12. Seating is available at a cost of $500 as well as a changing facility. Check it out on your next visit to Ochio Rios, St. Ann.
MoreFood from BOBO at Selah Star (green shop down the big concrete stepswas amazing, with real Rasta love and vibration. Turquoise water in front and the falls just a step away. BOBO made steps for elderly and children to now access the water, amazing place!
MoreVery fun time with my co-workers 😍😍
My family and I wanted to go to a certain other falls, we couldnt get in because my sister decided to bring her dog, so we ended up here. Turns out we all enjoyed ourselves. Great beach. People just need to learn to keep the place clean and stop littering. Locals collecting money should invest in fixing up the restrooms.
MoreIt was great. Theres a small fee to enter for maintenance of the beach and theres also a raft that you can go out on. Its very exhilarating and the water is clear and beautiful. I loved it we enjoyed every moment😍♥️♥️♥️
More10 out of 10! Absolutely a great experience. You also have the chance to go rafting but that will cost. To enter you may have to pay $100JMD towards the maintenance of the falls but it is absolutely worth it. Theres little shops here and there to enjoy some amazing foods. The falls is also near dolphin cove, mystic mountain and more.
MoreIt was awesome, Im looking forward to go back again
Such a beautiful place and a true gem water rafting and all, its still being constructed so the entrance is not all that, there is also a small fee that is used for keeping it clean
MoreThe falls are absolutely amazing. The feeling on your back is cold, relaxing and therapeutic. The beach is warm and great despite the high level of salt in the water. Its free and an excellent place to take your family.
MoreOur local guide took us to this little gem. We had no idea where we were going, but trusted our drivers local knowledge. We pulled over on the side of the highway and passed a guarded gate to find this stunning view!! Absolutely gorgeous waterfalls and little mangrove areas across the cliff side and a beach to your right! These waters were warm and clear. We plan to go back before we leave! 10/10!! Not a ton of tourists and you can stay and explore as long as you want. Tip the people who keep this guarded and clean!!
MoreSo fun and relaxing. Wear water shoes!!!
The place was clean & beautiful. There are lockers for rent, if you wish to use them. To gain access to the beach is free, but you may be asked to leave a tip, to the person who help to keep the beach clean. The climbing of the falls is not bad, however, some of the rocks are slippery, so you will have to be careful when doing so. The water from the falls was cold, while at the bottom it is warm and nice. The scenery is very beautiful. If you would like to raft there is someone there who will take you out for a cost to see the surrounding area.
MoreOne of the attractions in Ocho Rios. Go early & spend the day. Buy discounted tickets online prior to arriving to avoid long lines. Enjoy the Amazing view! Mystic Mountain is a wonderful place for family with live music.
MoreA must visit. Forget paying $100+ for duns river go where the locals go. Its free and the locals there are extremely friendly. They sell small gifts you can purchase. There is a bar there as well. Beautiful site.
MoreLittle Dunns was great and less crowded so we had the falls primarily to ourselves. This spot was very beautiful ‼️
MoreWe went to Mystic Mountain, Cool place to visit. Beautiful landscape and picturesque views. The staff for the ski lift or whatever you call it was great. Just wish they had less of the tourists shops at the top of the mountain and more authentic things to buy. There was a little museum like area which highlighted all the accomplishments that Jamaica had to offer. Unfortunately the restaurant was so slow and they didnt even have a large crowd. We never got our food and ended up leaving. I wanted to go into the pool via the slide but the water was too cold for me. Aside from that, the view is the best thing I can take from this trip. Next time Ill fly in so I can experience the real Ochos Rio. Oh if you are TERRIFIED of spiders just keep your eyes open because them suckers are HUGE. They werent crawling around but they were in the trees..🕷🕸🕷
MoreIt has a great view and the water is fresh and cool. I really enjoyed my day there
MoreSmall yet beautiful natural attraction plus its free.
Absolutely awesome...we climb it everytime we come to Jamaica.!Lots of fun!
Nice little roadside beach spot, but can be crammy and umcomfortable if youre not prepared to get down to earth
MoreThe view was amazing! I personally didnt walk the waterfall or water area but my friend did and she said it was slippery. I see why water shoes are recommend. The color of the water was fantastic and it was extremely clear. Great place for pictures.
MoreIt was so wonderful to be at little dunns river beach
Great experience, this is our 3rd time climbing and the kids always enjoy every step of the way. Being able to climb rocks and the waterfall the whole time it makes it soo much fun!
MoreBeautiful little spot on the roadside in Ocho Rios easy access. its a rough walk down the rocks with no hand railing so those who are not sure-footed should not go to this place
MoreBeautiful little spot in the roadside in Ocho Rios. The steps are steep so if you arent surefooted I would recommend you hire a guide to assist you on the way down👍. Its worth it to see and experience a 100% Natural Waterfall.
MoreWe had a great time. Its the spot where the locals go and a free, less commercial alternative to Dunns River Falls which is a 2 minute drive away. There are no guides or or lifeguards. Youre on your own, but you can linger as long as youd like.
MoreBest kept secret for a quick swim with beautiful waterfalls
Nice experience, they have a small river that turns into a waterfall and pours into the ocean. There is also a bar there and a lot of locals. Free to get in unlike dunns falls.
MoreIf you have been to Dunns River before and dont want to pay the price to go again, this is the best alternative!!
MoreLove the Ziplining and the lift ride up was beautiful.
This place was spectacular and absolutely gorgeous. Climbing was fun and I was so happy that I made it to the top. Make sure that you have your water shoes and pay close attention at all times to what ypure doing.
MoreGreat staff, very kind and no one was pushy to get us to do things.Beautiful scenery!
MoreNot a plaNot a beach where you could sit on the sand and enjoy the waterfalls. You have to climb down slippery rocks to get to the fall. And the gravel in the water requires water shoes. And the locals bombard you as soon as you get there to buy their merchandise.
MoreGreat place to go the water to great both the falls and the beach they also got boat rides for $500 per person where they take out and about the och area. They also have paddle boats which you can rent a ride if you have been to dunns river then you need to go here. Plus Its great when you are on a budget cause its free entry just go and enjoy yourself. Try out the falls at the beach side it wonderful
MoreIts nearly impossible to access this Public Beach without a local "volunteering" to help you down to the beach or give you a guided tour. They will be very helpful, but then insist on a tip, which has to be at least $5 per person for the beach and $25 for the tour. Is it a big deal? No. Are the falls beautiful? Yes. If you politely decline all assistance will they follow you to your car and insist that you give them money anyway? Yes. Will the vendors insist that you buy something from them for watching your car? Yes.The beach isnt much of a beach. Theyll charge you for chairs and there isnt any place to just lay out a towel. Also, bring the water socks. This beach is NOT sand. Its all rock and going barefoot will hurt. Plus, theres a bar and a DJ on the cliffside. There are empty bottles and various trash strewn about and you will see bottle caps in the water, so watch where you step. For the "tips" that everyone you encounter insist upon receiving, youd think someone would bother to keep it clean. Overall, the beauty of the spot was diminished by the locals constantly pressuring us for money. Which sucked cause we drove over 2 hours from Montego Bay to enjoy them.
MoreI absolutely love little Dunns River the guys were very helpful and nice I was able to soak in the mineral baths enjoy the beautiful blue waters that ironically was warm and cold at the same time it was axillary eating
MoreFreaking AWESOME!! Vold springs fuel warm pools.. invigorating
Beautiful beach with the added bonus of a waterfall climb. We didnt bother with a guide just dived straight in. Took about 25 minutes bottom to top . $23 entrance fee and worth every minute. The only downside, personally, was the craft market that you have to go through to exit. Pushy sellers and a large amount of tat.
MoreThis is a free beach just off the main (30 minutes walking distance from island villagewhere Dunns River Falls meets the ocean, its beautiful...several very cool waterfall photo locations for photo ops. You are initially greeted by vendors selling crafts, other souvenirs and local goods (we were advised that someone may make us try to pay but to clarify this is a FREE beach). Several places to leave your personal items and have them visible to you when you go into the water. Several of the vendors closer to the water offer an option to take your pics...a great option for solo travelers and couples. Highly recommend.
MoreNice little chill spot to hide away and relax
Great place to hang out.Nice alternative to the Dunns River falls.Never really crowded and miniature falls is a wonderful experience.Great for all ages.
MoreA local spot in ocho rios jamaica that naturally converges with the sea. As a result, the water is both warm and cold.
MoreReally beautiful place. I liked it even more than the Dunns River Falls, because the nature of the little Dunns River Falls is just amazing. Also the vibe, with a little bar playing Reaggemusic and a lot of locals also enjoying their day there, makes it even better. It is by far not as touristic as the Dunns River Falls. In my opinion, one of the best places in Jamaica!
MoreBrilliant place beautiful scenery warm water absolutely gorgeous
Really nice to find a public beach in Ochi. It has beautiful waterfalls which empty into the sea making the water not too salty. It was warm in parts too, a pleasure to swim in and best of all free. Refreshments are on sale and theres a VIP section above the falls which gives you access to lounge chairs and lockers for safekeeping your things (not sure of price). No restrooms or changing rooms either and it had a bit of garbage. Parking may be a hassle since you have to park on a soft shoulder of the road then hike down some steps and rock a bit (less than 5 minutes walkbut worth it
MoreThe best relaxing spot on the north side of the Island. You buy whatever the island has to offer. Amazing place for kids and for couples. My fiance and I love it.
