Little Audrey's - Cafe in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei
Fluffy yet crispy waffles. Thought it would be too sweet but it was just nice! Would go back for more 10/10
visited yesterday and ordered the nasi lemak chicken ($6.90which unfortunately was a ‘miss’ for me. it was plated beautifully, the sambal was decent and the egg was perfect but the chicken pieces were too too dry and the anchovies were much saltier than normal. however, the bibimbowl ($13.90and char siu chicken ($9.90looked nice and my friends enjoyed them. i like the tea here though! the osmanthus sencha was light and had a sweet aroma :)the cafe was quiet, plenty of seats were available at around 2-3pm tuesday. overall would recommend visiting, but avoid the nasi lemak.
Coffee and desserts , great but limited perhaps we came at a later time.Nice interior design 😍. However, kitchen noises should be limited. Could have been more quiet with sounds of coffee bars/ lounge music would be a plus for a cosy atmosphere..but will still come back💜😁
Ordered beef bolognese and it tasted terrible. The meat sauce is watery, the sphagetti is overcooked and not el dente. This dish is so sweet that I might get a diabete. As an Italian food lover, this dish is no way close to authentic. Price is too high for such a low quality food. Never going back as I felt that this is an overrated restaurant. However, I give 1 extra star for good service.
Celebrate birthdays here, business meetings, catch up with friends. Its just bout the memories now
Good tasting food. Cozy lil place. $$$
Little Audrey provides good list of food and drinks. I visited a few times during my two weeks of travel. It has literally became my favorite cafe in Brunei now.I like their latte. Just the right amount of milk and coffee.
Their coffee is goooodddd :)Menu range is enough to whet all appetites. For the crispy benny dish, I like everything except the brioche bun (texture & taste a bit off). Portion is perfect.Price range is at std market rate, coupled with quality food and service makes this place a must-return spot.
Food is great as usual but on my last visit i had to wait 40 minutes for my take out with no follow up whatsoever from the current staffs, had to ask them a few times and they didnt give me an estimated time until i asked for it, then after 40 mins of wait for a churro waffles for takeout, when i got home they missed out on the ice cream. so basically i waited 40 mins for a wrong order which was disappointing. By far the worse experience at that cafe, with that asides my previous visits were really great and the previous staffs were helpful.
Nice cafe restaurant. The cheesecake is to die for
Best burnt cheesecake in Brunei. The breakfast is quite oily and be improved. Portion is good.
Good food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
Nice place to hangout n chill. Food was great!
Lovely environment, good food and friendly staffs. Went there for breakfast to get some Breakfast at Tiffany’s vibe. Definitely coming back soon!
Could never hurt having coffee here. Finding parking around here is terrible. Ambience with cute Audrey Hepburn framed photos is humbly great.
Nice food, good service
Both my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves last night. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is delicious. I will definitely be back.
Best burnt cheese in town. Normally sold out at closing times. Ondeh ondeh cake also very nice. Staff very friendly. 7 Dec 20, 1344hrs.
My friends and I went to Little Audreys yesterday and we had a great time. The food was amazing, the staff were very friendly and the ambience was warm and cozy. Yes the prices are a little on the high side but considering the quality of the food and service, I think its definitely worth it. Id definitely come back for another special occasion.
Good food with cosy ambiance!
Short of something great :( Went here for breakfast and had Audreys Big Brekkie (Brioche, Beef Rashers, Scrambled EggsAudreys Eggs Benny (Brioche), a Golden Latte and 2 glasses of cold water. Super nice to have options for the breakfast meals! The food itself left a lot to be desired especially at the price-point. Portion-wise it was bang for your buck! The brioche (breadwas toasted just enough to hold the eggs but not get soggy. Poached eggs were perfect with just the right amount of hollandaise. On the other hand, majority of the items on the plate, other than the bread and eggs, seriously needed wayyy more time on the pan and were barely warm. The tomatoes were tough and unpleasant to bite through, it also had a really strong raw-sourness to it. They usually become really sweet and juicy when cooked through but it wasnt the case for us. The mushrooms and potatoes were also a bit more tough than we wouldve liked for breakfast. The golden latte was okay, I think someone went a bit overboard with the cinnamon because it overpowered the entire drink and it was grainy and uncomfortable on the throat even after stirring. The staff was friendly and nothing out of the blue there. Perhaps the breakfast meals werent the strong suit or I went on a bad day, Ill definitely come by again to try something else but I hope the review can be taken in to improve the experience!
My wife and I went to this cafe today at around 9am. We were looking for a cozy place to eat our breakfast and thought this place would be a great place. At the same time we were also trying to finish up our important project asap and so we brought along our laptop there hoping we could finish the project while having our meals. What really upset us was the attitude and etiquette of the staff. First, they were quite loud when talking among themselves in their native language (not malay/englishat the counter/bar area . It made us feel uncomfortable and unable to fully enjoy our breakfast there as the cafe is abit small it further increased the echo of their voiceWhen we finished our breakfast we ordered some drink while working on our project. Little did we realized that it was almost noon time (11.40amand suddenly there was this staff, a lady, (she is the baristacame to our table and just simply put the bill, telling us there are people who wanted to book this table and then she just left. We were taken aback her sudden and intrusive action, didn’t even ask if we are going to order some more food for lunch? I wouldn’t mind to leave the cafe but please be more respectful. Its a shame really, such a good place and meals but the experience was ruined by the staff :(
Had their Caesar Salad here, it’s very good, fresh prawns and ingredients. Coffee was basically just typical run of the mill, nothing special. Many mentions about its breakfast so that’s worth a try.Prices are on the high side but you should never be afraid to pay a bit more for quality.
Little Audrey’s is a cozy, cute cafe with a great menu. I love their cakes and coffee and find myself going back there over & over again. Highly recommend Little Audrey’s for a cozy catch-up.
Very good place for breakfast, tried here few times. A litte bit expensive but other wise a good place to eat.
Big brekkie is superb! They serve good espresso here too.
Good ambience, reasonably priced food. Recommended to make a reservation as space is limited.
Cool ambience and good food too.
Rude and slow service. Only 4 slices of only 2 types of cake, in total, packed in 3 boxes. Explained 3 times, she played back the wrong order, over and over again.. Explaining again, shes looking annoyed. I then say, let me write it down so its clear. She looks at me with this sour face. Ignores me. Then proceeds to give me the wrong order. 30 mins for 4 slices ok cake. Go if you have time and a seriously high tolerance for sour faces who cant understand your order and are too proud to get help.Cakes are still good. But good cake is not enough.
Food 5/5 - generous portions and lots to choose from. Must try their burnt cheesecake.Ambience 5/5 - Audrey Hepburn themed. Love the jazz music.Service 5/5 - do make reservations before you go as they’re always full.
Absolutely in love with the cakes! The warm chocolate cake with ice cream was absolutely divine! It was warm and so rich with chocolate sauce and really went well with the light vanilla ice cream. The other cakes I tried were the yam and carrot cakes which were also really good. The yam cake was really light and refreshing while the carrot cake was crumbly and creamy. Will come back here again for the food and more cakes. It was a cute and cozy cafe with pretty decors. The staffs were super friendly and service was quick.
Good vibes and excellent service.Had a great time catching up with a friend whom we last met way back in 2010. Loved the chilli crab omelette and the drink and yam ice cream.Staff were nice to provide an extra chair for me to put my backpack. My plate was very clean before we started having our ice creamsWould love to visit again
Finally a statisfy meal. I was craving for a no rice, pack of vegetables & reasonable size meat meal about a month now.
The restaurant does everything right. Just the right amount of lighting without it beeing too bright or too dim, just the right amount of tables and chairs without it being too congested, just the right amount of light jazz to set the mood without it being too distracting. The foods are so so good - the Honey Chicken Mustard is to die for - so juicy and so fresh. The portions are just right. Would definitely come again and recommend to others.
Good for breakfast, delicious but a bit pricey
Had their Mix Grill and Bunless Burger, the portion was very big and it had a wonderful presentation and very delicious, combined with the relaxing environment and friendly staff, would definitely come again to try their other Mains and Desserts on the Menu, as well as their meal on the Seasonal Menu. Worth the 5 Stars!
About $15 on the bunless burger, a tasty cooked burger on a pile of salad. Good. However, we also ordered a waffle at the beginning of the meal so that we can have our burger followed by the waffle immediately. Its 10 minutes wait after. The portion of the waffle is reasonable for about $8. Overall, good foods. This is expected for the price.
Nice, cosy and happy atmosphereLoads of healthy options and the food is so tasty. The portions are great.Staff are friendly and welcomingThey have the best cheese tart in town, it melts in your mouth .. oh and the Chocolate cake is delicious 😋I recommend this place
Food portion is large. Food is always nice. Very good service.
Awesome ambience and decor. I love Audrey Hepburn! Staff were very nice and friendly. The Super Salmon Bowl I had was a large portion, nutritious and worth it. Tried my friends soft shell crab pasta as I love soft shell crab. Taste was great but a lottle too salty for me. Hope to come back and try a milkshake, the coffee and all-day breakfasts!
The portion of food served is pretty generous. But sometimes the taste of food can be quite inconsistent on various visits. But it’s still alright. Their salad bowls is a must-go for me. And definitely their yam cake, another must eat dessert, by having the generous amount of real yam(paste form! Yammy! The ambience is quite good. The cafe has this monochromatic settings with Audrey Hepburn’s and Paris illustrations around the space. A pretty “instagrammable” place during the daytime , but definitely not at night, unless you have a really good camera and props for the dimness of space. The staffs are also quite friendly and attentive. They won’t stand beside you to wait for you to order once you step in the cafe, which some of the cafe/restaurant I went locally does that. Something I really appreciate as a diner.
I give the food here a 10. They use high quality fresh ingredients and the foods taste incredible. The portions are big, enough for two persons to eat. Special mention on the Power salad. Drinks are a bit on the expensive side though...The friendly and attentive staff are also a plus. Highly recommended.
Food is delicious! Serving western food, often with an Asian twist. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The decor is beautiful. Great place for a light lunch, or a dinner out with friends.
Food are delicious, lovely food.therell be not enough seat thoug during peak hours, so need to wait for a while for seats to turn over.
Good food. Good ambience. Good customer service
Fresh tasty salads and good service
This is my first time came here then ordered the smoothie juice to try (Avocado with bananaand cheese tart. I love the smoothie because the taste purely used by fresh fruits. A drink that refreshes; Not only that, the cheese tart itself also delicious and the price $2.30 dollar per pcs. That time I feel a bit expensive of the cheese tart but think twice actually the size of cheese tart is quite large compared with other bakery shop and then they put more cheese from their ingredient.
Nice quiet restaurant. Polite wait staff. Food comes highly recommended.
Pretty good sungkai buffet. The bread pudding was great. Just dont heat up the vanilla bean sauce.
Went there for dessert recently. Saw the menu and it looks interesting. Their hot choco is the highlight during the last visit. Latte is normal.Their Pandan kaya cake is light and refreshing. Think this will be good during a hot day but I was hoping to taste a bit more on the kaya. Egg tart was disappointing as I feel its more of a custard/pudding texture then the traditional egg tart.Their croissant was very buttery delicious!Next time would try their meals.
