Ordered the Mixed Platter for 2, Karisik Meze, as an appetizer and it was delicious!!!! Eggplant bursting with flavors, Hummus creamy and silky, everything tasted very fresh. Main Course we split the Baby Lamb with Okra, Etli Banya, really delicious. Although we were full , we ordered dessert. Glad we did For dessert we had the fresh Figs with walnuts which was very tasty. Will definitely return!

Ordered take out lamb with okra, and a $10 rice pudding, price was high but Mediterranean restaurants usually are because portions are huge, but this was not the case here, got few pieces of lamb smaller than a penny size, was expecting large rice pudding for the price and it wasn’t, also the rice wasn’t cooked all the way . This part of New Jersey has the largest and the best Mediterranean restaurant in the country, And you wont make it between them with this kind of foods And portions. Didn’t put utensils and I’m staying in the hotel I ended up cutting a piece of one of the plate and use it as a spoon. i ordered from Elbasha yesterday and couldnt finish the food and quality was great.

Food was ok but not worth the prices. Better value elsewhere.Prices on the menu on their website and their actual prices are different. Mildly annoying to see a difference. The value of some of their dishes is too far off. 14.95 for a kids meal of 4 chicken fingers and fries. 11.50 for 4 pieces falafel. I realize food is more expensive these days, mark up the items that are truly more expensive..

We visited Lisas Mediterranean Cuisine for a birthday celebration with a group of 15 people. The entire staff were friendly and welcoming, and they have mastered the art of attentiveness without hovering or being intrusive. In addition, they were patient with absolutely no rushing us, allowing the group to celebrate. It was comfortable. The menu was varied with many choices for the carnivores and vegetarians in the group. There wasnt a single complaint about the food and all of us were very pleased and satisfied with our selections. The restaurant was BYOB and no cork removal fee and no plate fee for the birthday cake they let us bring in. This is a very good restaurant and I look forward to making Lisas Mediterranean a place we visit often.

A wonderful family owned and operated restaurant with delicious cuisine. If you love genuine, home-cooked, Mediterranean food, you must stop here. Your palate will thank you.

We ordered some food , which was delicious, and asked waiter; Can you put vegetables instead of rice? As side dish. He said no problem. When time to checkI saw they charged $4 for 3 pcs vegetables. Thats weird. Shepherd salad . $15 please check the prices before order.

Words cannot describe my experience at Lisa’s restaurant. I’ve never been one to try new foods, but I did anyway, and what I ate was DELICIOUS. I kept telling Lisa and her sister who was serving us how incredible the taste was. And i’m not observant like that at all! Both Lisa and her sister were phenomenal hosts as well… and I cannot wait to go back. Bringing all my friends!

Excellent food and excellent servise. This place is amazing. We ordered most of cold and hot appetizers and they are really fresh and delicious. I ordered Branzino for entree its coming with rice and steamed vegetables. This is my first time in this restaurant and im in love w this place.

Excellent food and reasonable prices! Careful, the parking sucks, but worth the effort. Great service!

The food is decent, but the service could use improvement. In my case, they forgot one of the dishes I ordered and rushed it out after we were already done eating. But it was undercooked, and we didnt want to wait around for them to recook it. They never admitted to their mistake and never apologized either. So overall, it was a negative experience.

The manti were great, but the meat to dough ratio was about 50/50. They are flavorful and filling, though. We also got a yogurt cucumber appetizer which tasted good!Its important to say to not get the falafel. Theyre simply not good, or at least not what I am used to.

Best mediterranean food I have ever had! The chicken amazing, the lamb impeccable, and dont get me started on the red sauce. All of this with a great feel to the restaurant, the place did not miss. Highly recommend 10/10

One of the best if not the best restaurants I’ve been to. Great experience, tasty food that makes you want to go back at least once a week. When my wife is not trying to cook. I order Lisa’s and enjoy a great meal 10/10 would recommend to anyone who loves great looking and tasty food!

I ordered on Doordash. Delivery was fine. Food, not so much. The most in-Authentic Turkish Cuisine. Very dumbed down in flavor, very Americanized, bland. I wont be ordering from here again. Sorry. Maybe I just had too high expectations considering I have actually eaten traditional Turkish Cuisine in the Old City of Istanbul.

Excellent home made food of a very high quality but a bit pricey. Reliable efficient take out and curb side service that is most pleasant and friendly.

We had dinner at this restaurant last night for the first time and it was delicious. The service was also impeccable . My daughter ordered a chicken casserole dish that was out of this world. I ordered a number of appetizers and each one that came out was better than the next . I couldn’t decide which one was my favorite . I highly recommend this restaurant . Next time we will order the chicken and lamb shish. Bon Appetite!

An excellent restaurant with many delicious menu options. Great quality Mediterranean food in the Turkish style and a relaxing environment. There are an assortment of hot and cold appetizers to start your meal and meat, seafood and vegetarian for the main course. The flavor combinations are delicious and certain to please.The restaurant is BYOB if you would like wine with the meal.

Went here for a Saturday night walk in for four people. The ambience was very beautiful and we were pleased on how quick we were seated. I think they were short staffed because our waiter did not seem to know everything on the menu. He had to get some clarification for our dishes. They did comp us for some baklava. Had a good experience and would recommend to anyone who wants meat to come here. The seafood dishes are ok but meat dishes are much better.

The appetizer assortment was plentiful and all of it was delicious. The both the lamb and chicken kebabs, were tender, juicy, and tasty. Definitely going back again!

Ive tried this place multiple times. The food is always excellet, fresh and obviously high quality. The sampler dip platter was second to none. Although this dish is a little bit pricey the quality and flavor lends itself to quality ingredients. As we know quality ingredients are not cheap. We got there early on a friday and they were just setting up for the night so the restaurant was empty. We were welcomed by smiling faces all welcoming and greeting us. The staff was attentive, friendly , and efficient. Our water was replenished quickly never had to ask for more. This is a bring your own establishment so bring the libations of your choice. The liver appetizer was amazing flavorful and perfectly done. The covan kaburma ( a lamb stew type dish was well seasond and I wanted to finish it but there was just too much. I promise you wont leave hungry. This restaurant was nicley decorated and had heartwarming phrases on the wall that makes you recognize the owners are caringbdecent people. I highly reccomend this place. If your in the mood for Turkish food try this place its a winner in all aspects.

Really great food and among the best Middle Eastern cuisine in the town and area. We tried different types of appetizers and the meat, very tasty and high quality! Would definitely go there again. We did take out order.

Only giving a star because I have to in order to review. I do not recommend this place to anybody. My first time ordering to pick up, placed our order for sandwiches and the lady on the phone forgot to tell us that they are not serving sandwiches today. My sister only found that out once she got there to pick up our food!!! Only to find out they also canceled our WHOLE order all together ????And then with no credit, no apologies, proceeded to charge us $90 for the order we waited another hour for them to remake. Horrible.

Love this place, food is amazing. Love the lamb shish kebabs and the stuffed cabbage. Theres also a dish of small dumplings with lamb meat, forgot what its called. Service has also been excellent every time Ive come

I thoroughly enjoyed the grape leaves here..they are stuffed with pine nuts and raisins really great twist on a middle east classic. The falafel and the hummus..not good at all..very bland. So if you are like me and enjoy the heavy seasonings and bold flavors of middle eastern food..this spot is not for you.

I have been going to this restaurant for years! Every time I go, the food is delicious, the people are friendly, and the atmosphere is great! Definitely try the Chicken Shish. I would highly recommend this place because it is truly authentic!!

This is by far the best Mediterranean restaurant in New Jersey! The staff is great, the food is delicious and I truly feel at home when I go out to eat here. Lisa makes the best hummus in bergen county, winning number one four years in a row. I truly feel like this is the best place to go with your family and on a romantic date! They also have a variety of choices for people who are gluten free and vegetarian.
