Boisterous comedy club & nightclub offering a full bar, pub grub & DJ dance nights.
Amazing bartender, atmosphere, and locals!
Doth thou haveth the munchies at pre midnight oclock and a thirst that needith quenching? Bring thyself and your bosom partner to the lounge of liquid. Play games. Drink. Be merry! Be Liquid!Enjoyed hanging out here along with some friends. This is the bar where you get the shots to finish out the night. Or go crazy and make it your entire night stop. You wont go wrong.
They have really good food here. Bartenders are fast and friendly. Good environment. Lots of games inside
Sat on that porch every night for 7 years until my friend died. So many great memories and so many funny people came to the bar after their gig. Very intimate setting. Try the poutine!!
Friendly service and good vibe. Fun arcade. The poblano pepper burger may be the best burger Ive ever had.
Sat at the bar, and Sam is super cool. Have gone in here a couple of times, and the food is mostly good and well priced. And the drinks are tasty. Cozy atmosphere and great patio.
Last minute decision to hang out in Boise for a bit. It was a great time to sit outside and enjoy a drink!!! Great music and service!!
Had a fantastic time Sunday for their open Mic session. Staff was fantastic! Food was great. And the host of the show was phenomenal.
Great place to see some up and coming comedians. Wednesday and Thursday nights are dedicated to open mic for aspiring artists. If and when you’re in the Downtown Boise area this is something you must experience. The variety of acts is what makes comedy great! One moment you’ll be discussing Superman and a Godless society, the next you’ll be on stage following your own dream. I’ll be back very soon. Thanks for keeping freedom of speech alive and well.
Fun place and enjoyment. Out side of down town and on the Vista/Overland area and its needed.
If I could give no stars, I would. Worst bar in boise every time Ive been Ive gotten nothing but disrespect and bad drinks. Bartenders are rude and try to charge you for messed up drinks. Screw this place. Royally.
My first time to Boise, Idaho and I went out with friends looking for food, beverages and fun. After two attempts, we were directed to Liquid Lounge. What a pleasant surprise! The food was amazing and huge portions to share with our group. The staff, especially Raphael, was super friendly and the lounge, WOW!!... You gotta go in person to appreciate it! Arcade games, pool tables, entertainment and music galore. We had such an incredible night to remember surrounded by friendly people! Thanks for an amazing night!
The bartender was an amazing man. He had personality and was a joy to deal with. Thank you for allowing us our first visit and a memorable one. Owners need to make sure you take care of him.
Nice chill place! Loved the stand up comedy show they had. The servers are nice and despite the large crowd they had enough chairs and tables. Drink were decent and they didnt rush is outside after the event.
Been here for a comedy show. Had a fantastic time!! Food and drink were great, prices were super fair and overall had a wonderful time. Thank you, will be back!!
Drinks were decent but service was horrible. We were asked to remain seated for coivid restrictions and they would come to us but that was clearly not the case. After waiting 20 minutes after finishing each drink I went to the bar. The bartender was too busy playing pool to take care of the 5 total people in the bar.
Costumer service was off the charts! Delicious food. Our server Trent and the general manager Junior is accommodating! Great night here
This place is our GO TO date night out. There are always great comedians and awesome customer service. However, they definitely need to hire more bar staff. Weve learned that you order all you can at the start because you wont see your waitress for another hour at the least... Saves money for us, but still frustrating at times.Overall, this place rocks and well continue to support Liquid Laughs and their acts.
Very local feel. Small and close seats if you get there 30-40 minutes early. I recommend it!! Very friendly and great service. The comedians are hit and miss as with most places. I did not order food, but the drinks were to be expected. The servers are very respectful of the show and they do not come off pushy.
About the only comedy club in town. Lots of great shows and performers. Never know who might come to town. Its quite surprising. Also a fun open mic might wednesdays and karaoke after. Sadly 21+ but a great spot to check out.
This is a fun place. We got tickets for a late show, with instructions to pick up tickets at the will call window but when we got there we were told that they dont print tickets any more and everyone should just line up and get checked off the list. We showed up 30min early and there was already a line out the door. Once inside we squeezed and shared a tiny table with another couple. The nachos were HUGE and really good. Service was ok but the staff were overworked. The comedy routines were way better than we expected.
Always a wonderful experience. One of my favorite birthday presents and places to go with friends and family. Great food, drinks, and vibes.
My friends and I have stopped in here for years. They support local comedy, music, and people who just want to place to sit and listen. I used to go and do karaoke here on Wednesday nights, but I think they close that down. I hope they bring back that as well as mother things, but I recognize there are many factors in this decision
Oh my god!! Took my husband out for his birthday! He loves comedy!! We were the 2nd ones to come. So excited!! The comedian started to attack us because we were sitting in front, and when I asked him to stop he made it even worse. We left in tears.
This place is a lot of fun, and they have a variety of entertainment depending on what night you go. Great comedy shows, not large enough to be overwhelming, and they even host a goth community night every Sunday night. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they are very welcoming and open minded. I definitely recommend the place!
I went on a Wednesday evening when they usually have an open mic. Had a great time. Kudos to all the contestants. Would definitely go again!
Had a party of 18 that went and the comedy acts were good. The bartenders were horribly rude and we will not be back until they fix this problem since every single time weve gone they have been terrible to us. Seems like a fun job to have not sure why their bartenders are so miserable.
Attended the Heath Harmison stand-up comedy on 23 May 2019. The host and the waitress were very pleasant. The waitress was very prompt in bringing me my drinks and food. She surprised me with how often she checked up on me. I ordered the loaded fries. I was surprised by the large portion. It tasted great. The only even slight negative thing in my opinion is the price of drinks seemed a little high but then again I am not from Idaho so maybe a double vodka and sprite costs $12 at most restaurants here. It looked like it had a nice bar stocked with many options. Seating was very compact inside the bar. I cannot imagine it would be very comfortable to heavier-set and larger-framed individuals unless they had a table along the aisle that divided the two seating areas.
We attended the standup comedy performance of Tom Green. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the club overall. Of course there were a small few who wouldnt be quiet and kept interrupting, but Ive seen that everywhere. Overall, good times were had at Liquid Laughs.Note, there is a two item minimum. Also there is no dress code so dont worry about that.
Went on amateur night, so the acts were hit and miss but overall an enjoyable experience. Food was to be expected...bar food. Drinks were poured well and not watered down. Wait staff never came to check on us for refills or anything. Prices were on the high side for the quality of the food but not too out of line. Not a bad way to spend time with friends but will probably be only an occasional destination for us.
FREE night - Just went there last night Wednesday 4 open mic night with comedians. There were 2 full hours of comedians one after another with no intermission. This was followed by karaoke which I will catch the next time. Very comfortable spot. Even the first timers were pretty good. The waitress was very friendly as well as the bartender. The margarita was excellent at $7.50A very relaxing atmosphere. Look for the sign that tells you to go up one flight to the second floor a very short walk.
Great show! Great host - offered a selection of seating options. Waitress was friendly and helpful. She promptly returned with our drinks and checked on us several times. Very enjoyable and hilarious night out!
We came on a Friday night to see a comedian that we have not heard of before now, but that’s not what I’m reviewing here. The club seating is first come first serve, so if you want a good seat, come an hour early for a pick of the room. The room is listed as having seats for about 170-180 or so, but I didn’t really see any bad seats if you come later. The wait staff are very pleasant and there are plenty of bar food options if you came without eating. We will definitely be back for more comedy.
“The List” show last night was incredible. An absolutely killer line up that made me wish the night would never end. As great as the show was, I feel as though I would be doing myself, as well as this great nation a disservice, if I wrote this review without mentioning last nights host. Hailee Lenhart-Wees, you are an incredible young talent and a true American hero. It is a honor to be able to witness firsthand, the evolution and development of a true double threat (Comedy & Karaoke). In all honesty though, I will say that I am completely overwhelmed by the talent in this valley. So many great comics, and to be able to see everyone’s weekly progression has been a treat. As if the shows were not enough to keep me coming back, the staff is comprised of some of the nicest folks I have ever encountered. I will be back again and again!
The comedy acts were good, some REAlly good. Great way to spend a Wednesday night. Beers are 4.00!! Drinks 5! Get the MGD, or, whats on draft, 2.50
Great little comedy club with a Cheers atmosphere, always very welcoming to new people, and fair prices on drinks. Serves the delicious food from Solid; Comedy shows every Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun; Open mics for n00bs and pros alike every Weds at 7 and Thurs at 10.
Great experience at Liquid Laughs. The service was excellent with good food and beer to boot! The place was clean and we werent overly packed in like sardines unlike other comedy clubs Ive been to. And surprisingly, all the comics from start to finish were fantastic! I heard it was hit or miss there, but I couldnt have been happier all the way around.
As a venue, its clean, dark, table seating, bar food. The staff has always been pleasant. Ive been here a few times, different comics and open mic night. Its hit or miss. When the comic can read the audience and engage with them it can be fun. When you have someone who thinks they can be crass just cause its a bar, I dont enjoy it. That said, last time I saw a particularly bad comic there, (stormed off the stage dropping f bombs,a couple of the staff came on after to "clean up," did really entertaining sets, so we still left feeling pretty good. Kudos to Werewolf elevator guy and Sophie for handling the situation with class.
This is a small intimate venue where you can feel up close to the performers. The comedians were excellent and the atmosphere was fun. The service was very slow though. We wanted to order drinks and it took over 20 minutes for anyone to check on us. Then it took another 3 rounds of the cocktail server coming around taking orders for nearby tables before our drinks came. I ordered a margarita and it was overly sweet and a bit watery. For 8 bucks I expect a bit more.
I am sure this place can be a lot of fun. We were in from out of town, and thought lets go watch a comedy show. We hadnt heard of the headliner. He was terrible. The local warm up comedians were awesome. I will say the did a great job of keeping my drink full. So all in all it was pretty fun.
Had a great time. The food was great (I had the Blondieand the comedians were just hilarious. My only negative comment is that the tables were very close together, which made it feel more cramped. Really though, once the comedians come out you forget all about it and have a great time!
Great staff, excellent food, and always a fantastic comedy show!
Great spot. For how small it is I cant believe the talent they bring. Thinking back on all the shows Ive seen here, it really is becoming a Boise stable. Cheap af drinks, strangely good food, tight seating. There really isnt a bad view. Thinking about it? Go for it!
One of my favorite things to do in Boise. Food is okay. Drinks are good! The staff are super friendly. The comedians brought in are pretty hilarious most of the time. I haven’t ever had a bad night down there.
Its a fun place to hang out. Drinks were good. Tacos were ok. I would go back again some time if Im in the area. It is an interesting opportunity for people watching.
I enjoy this quirky comedy club. I have been twice. The staff is eclectic and very welcoming to my family and I. They require a food purchase after being seated but dont despair, the food is great. Obviously each performance is unique and therefore individuals may prefer one comedian over another so take that into consideration but there are 3 to 4 acts in each show. They take care of their patrons by giving you a nice coupon for food from the restaurant to be used on a different day for each ticket purchased and that food was excellent too! The bathrooms are clean. Go laugh, it is the best medicine!
Ive visited this location. Many of times over the years even when it was the funny bone. Liquid is fun, and always have great staff. The comedy is always on point. It seems that the less known people are much funny than the experienced. Ive seen Gilbert Godfrey and Dustin diamond there and both were, to me, a disappointment but that has no reflect on the club.Their hard seats can be a drag, and everyone is kind of close but all in all Im a fan.
Had a great experience at a comedy show last night. The staff was kind and attentive, and the space was cozy but not claustrophobic. Maybe not ideal for peoples with motor disabilities, but Im sure the staff would be more than accommodating.
Good venue, but the staff could do more to deal with rowdy audience members. Saw a comedian here and had to deal with a lot of shouting and drunkenness. It was a great show and really great for a kind of intimate feel, but that REALLY detracted from the experience. I would absolutely go again though.
I like comedy shows and this place does just fine compared to other venues outside of Boise. The room is smallish which I think helps with the atmosphere when a good comedian is working the room. The food is decent and service is just fine. Ive been here a number of times and will keep going. I think they do a decent job of booking considering Boise is not a usual spot for most touring comedians.
