We asked for the best local seafood restaurant & Tijuana locals recommended this one! There were few to no tourist from 4PM to 6PM except us! The food and the service by Marco was excellent!The prices were reasonable and there was a long waiting list for the local dinner crowd!

The food was ok but their guacamole was awful 😖like they made it with rotten avocado 🥑 this was one and done.

This place was top manager catered to my party of 4 with 15m till closing, the service quality and environment were high caliber. Loved the fresh dozen oysters, fried mojara, the ceviche from pulpo was next level. Had a blast will definitely come back.

Amazing service!! Couldn’t ask for better service! They gotta kick it on the soy sauce for that agua Chile negro though! Needs to be spicier, not spicy enough. But food is gourmet excellently polished!

It looks good but very bad quality food.... i got a special tuna tostada and the tuna looked dark black meat and salty... which if its fresh its suppose to have that red fresh tone.....and my kids got the fish sticks with the fries and the fries were just hard like they had been reheated.... never going again!!!

We love to try new places in Tijuana but this one was bad we ordered different menu options and nothing had good flavor, the best thing was the valet parking, don’t order caldo de camarón it’s the worst and veggies are super hard

The place is open, plenty of room. Dining places includes terrace and main dining rooms, 2. The bar has multiple selections, I tried their signature drink that was made at my table! The bartender just rolled the bar cart and started to make my drink on the spot. Ordered the shrimp zarandeados which were strong flavor, it had 8? 10? Plenty of food served with rice and veggies. My appetizer was the camarones cucaracha, really tasty. The service was great! Super friendly but the music was a bit annoying, and kinda ruined the vibe, hence the rating, I truly enjoyed the vibe from their location at la terraza.

Great food. Great service. This place was a good surprise all around. The food was good, lots of flavor but also not too heavy. I also like that they had options for kids. Not a norm in Mexico.Only real complaint I have is that the ambiance was not there. The music was way too loud. So then the people have to talk loudly and the whole place is noisy.Definitely will come back for more.

First time here, after all Ive heard is not all that weve had much better. It was 5 of us and we ordered several dishes from the menu not one caught my attention. Its loud service is slow. I asked for a bottle of tequila and I got 2 different prices. The food was mediocre. Wouldnt go back

Was a go to spot for me until A dish of oysters was served to me full of bleach. I do not know how you can get bleach onto a dish in a kitchen but you could really smell the bleach and it also had the color. The Manager didn’t seem to take much responsibility or blame of the situation and gave really weak explanations. I left really disappointed at a place I used to enjoy dining in.

The service and the food was very good the service was fast I recommend this place is great 👍

I traveled from Sacramento to TJ just to have the LionFish. Its worth traveling for.Great service, wonderful food.My only recommendation would be a better wine list.

If you ever go to TJ this restaurant is way over the top. Waiters are so professional & anticipate what you need or want. Presentation of drinks & food superb. Everything was delicious. One couple was celebrating a birthday, what a way to go. Ill always come back here. Very reasonable prices for superb food

It’s my first time here at LionFish and I loved it!!! The food and drinks were really good!!! Plus we had great service with Omar and Gustavo!!! They were very attentive and had a good sense of humor!! Definitely recommend this place !!

LionFish was incredible! The service from Nestor and Rafael was absolutely amazing. They were super attentive, very efficient, brought us everything we asked for. Our meal from the appetizers, entrees, and dessert was well spaced out and everything came out very quickly.The food was perfection. The botana platter (picturedfeatured super fresh and tender mariscos with a perfectly balanced sauce. My pasta dish the camarones con rajas with fettuccine was surprising. It was the perfect balance of vegetables and pasta and was not too rich for that kind of dish. And there was SO much shrimp in it.And Irene made me the BEST drink! I got deseo de Frida (a mezcal drinkand she made it table side. It was super fresh but had the smoky kick from the mezcal and just the right amount of sweetness.Can’t forget about the dessert! The corn cake (pastel de elitewas incredible. Served warm with a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream. Not to sweet with a delicious corn flavor. It’s something I will not soon forget.

This is one of our favorite spots. We have yet to have a bad experience. The food and drinks are excellent. We usually request to be seating in the waiter Valentin’s station. He is very attentive and personable.

My waiter Ernesto and Miguel were very attentive and guided me to choose these delicious dishes : aguachiles reina and taco governador.

Excellent place for seafood! The service is excellent, the food is delicious! Highly recommend the aguachile samples and the grill fish Lionfish style. The prices are reasonable. The music is a bit loud, makes it harder to talk.

It was pretty cool. I went with my friends and the food was better than what I expected, they also included a mouthwash machine on the bathrooms and that was so usefull, the service was kinda slow but at the end we got what we wanted so four stars out of five 💛

The tostada sampler was very good. Service was friendly, recommendations from the waiter were spot on and everything is super clean. My favorite was also the chicharron de pescado. We also saw the tuna carnitas and they looked like a house favorite, everyone was ordering them! Valet was convenient. Card reader had no issue, just make sure that when you do get charge you let the waiter add the tip before you finish paying, there is no way to add it afterwards. Also, the bathroom has mouthwash, which is a nice touch for those worried about eating fish and smelling the rest of the day.

One of the Best Restraunts in all of Tijuana. A new refreshing culinary flavor infused with the classics. I recommend the Pulpo a Las Brasas and the Lonja Lionfish. Good food, good service, good times. A+

Great food and atmosphere. We showed up a few minutes after they opened on a Tuesday. The staff was a little slow getting into the work groove. This initially tempted me to give a much lower rating because I was getting hangry. But they got it together and the food was awesome.

Absolutely amazing service! We were a party of 4 and boy did we enjoy ourselves! We started with drinks, appetizers, meal and then desert!Every single thing we ordered was outstanding! Thank you for the freshness and flavor! Normally we need to add salt to our meals and this time flavor was on point!Tip:Valet parking is a must! Parking is difficult otherwise.

Wow the food was amazing! From the moment I got there, VIP parking service at no extra cost (except tipwhich makes it very easy when arriving with your family. Then we were seated very quickly. I had my two kids and they immediately spotted a playroom which had some tablets and toys and staff supervising the kids. Immediately I was feeling very welcomed and secured. The staff and service we’re on point. My wife ordered a few delicious drinks and some appetizers. I really wanted to order more, but I’ll just have to come back and taste the rest of the dishes.

Parking in the back, free WiFi, incredible service, the waiter predicted what we needed before we asked. The floor manage was breaking balls for one plate being served late. Menu has little chilli icons for spicy safety. Pricier than typical taco stand, but quality is remarkable, quantity is low for very Hungary, order 2 plates, you pig. Very modern, clean. Warning this is a popular place, the wait will be rewarded with cold beers.

The best seafood place in TJ! Prices are very reasonable. Love the childcare too. Generous portions. Love the ahi tuna tostada. The California Taco is incredible! Its a roasted California Chile in a tortilla with shrimp and octopus. They really take care of you. At times the service can be slow but its worth the wait. Desserts are extraordinary! They accept credit cards.
