Not as clean as earlier. Now there are too many stalls in the place which covers most of its place and gives a very shabby and congested look. However rating 3 is for the nature and the serene feeling viewing the mountains and the scenary!

Its just called Lion point, but there are lots of monkeys that can be seen. Many stalls where you can take snacks. Its a good place to spend some special quality time with family having a scenic view of the Valley. We enjoyed having Corn Pakode which were fantastic n yummy. You should try it once.I will say one thing that local authorities must think about the cleanliness and hygienety of this place because its a tourist place and people spend their time here.

In Lonavala, Lions Point can be found alongside Tigers Point. There are two viewpoints from this clifftop that offer views of the hills. The best things about this spot are its winds, sunrises, and sunsets. Weekends are busy in this area with tourists. You dont need a ticket to enter, but you must pay to park your vehicle.

Good place for a sunset watch. Many small restaurants are here serving maharashtrian snacks and kids menus. Excellent panoramic view of sahyadri. There is justification of the name "lion point". Parking rates are high.

It is really a very beautiful place, in the rainy season it gets even more beautiful view. Everyone should go here once. The view from the lions point is awesome. There is a camel ride available for kids.During monsoon you just get to see and experience the clouds and you will not be able to see anything from top. Those views are good for winter season only. During some its too hot to go there. They charge 50 rs for 4Wheeler parking but the no maintenance... It becomes difficult to drive on uneven surface as many rocks are there.Place remains too crowded during monsoon. Both points are very close tiger point and lions point and you dont need to park your vehicle separately.

Monsoon is the best time to visit. Unfortunately it is also the worst time as it is very crowded especially on weekends. But it is still worth it because it just looks magical. The place was foggy and lush green. The weather was pleasant. Lions point is just too crowded however you can find other secluded spots which are better. There are a lot of resorts and villas nearby. Must visit.

Its good to visit with family or friends a tip make sure you dont wear anything light as theres lots of wind gushing you may see paper plates flying and if your luck is bad it may have left over ketchup and your clothes could get dirty. Pleasant to go when theres slight rain showers you could have an amazing view to see with cool breeze and yes hot tea with dew drops falling over you.

We had gone to see the scenic views from here and photograph them but it was rainy and Lions point was having wind, sometimes light sometimes heavy rain and mist. So no scenic views. In the many refreshment stalls we took tea and alu pyaz ( kandapakoras and the ladies also had green chilly pakoras. In spite of the rain and mist there was a big crowd. On the way there were the traffic jams both ways but not as bad as on Saturdays and Sundays.Behind the refreshment shops there was littering of trash like glass from broken beer bottles, packaging, paper cups and plates etc.

Apart from people creating mess and throwing wrappers which results into people like me giving all the attention to the mess lying around, the view of other places were majestic. Thinking about going on a cleanliness drive someday over there to make this place much more beautiful. Do ping me if someone wants to join.

You enter from one gate that is Tiger Point and exit from another gate that is Lion Point. So its same you can say. Its free of cost you just have to pay for parking. Lonavala lake, Lion Point, Tiger Point and Ambey Valley all are in same route. Talking about the experience in Lion point the view was breath taking. When we reached weather was soothing and had chance to get rain showered when rainy clouds came near us. Not only the point, the route itself is very beautiful when we go to these points. A must go place. You can easily spend 2-3 hours here. Would recommend to go in morning or evening or if its the monsoon. Otherwise sun will burn you:-).

Best place to visit in lonavala.Lions point is 11km from lonavala. Best time to reach is before 9 am, after 9 there is no fog. If you are visiting near rainy season, all the waterfalls are visible. There are some small eateries at this point.Always ask the price first, which are between 30-50, otherwise you will end up paying Rs.100 per item.Sometimes at evening tym also the fog can be seen.If you are visiting lonavala, this place is a must visit.

At a distance of 12 km from Lonavala Railway Station, Lions Point is a vantage point located midway between Bhushi Dam and Aamby Valley in Lonavala. It is one of the popular viewpoints in Lonavala and also among the must include places. The view from Lions Point is majestic and panoramic. One would see dozens of small waterfalls, lush green hills, and lakes around during monsoon season. The sunrise and sunset views from here are mesmerizing. The wind is extremely strong at this place and it was quite thrilling to see many adventurous people get close to the edge to get that living-on-the-edge photograph. The drive to the point is also equally scenic

View is breathtaking.. BUT.. Place is full of garbage.. there is dustbin.. people are destroying the nature.. and no one is bothered at all... Even the shop vendors there are so irresponsible.. they are providing food and snacks there but the dont dispose the garbage properly.. and people too . So irresponsible.. just because of garbage the view was destroyed.. atleast put a dustbin there 🙏

Mesmerizing place. You can see the long expanse of the Sahayadri mountain range from here. Although, sometimes the crowd is too much here, you feel blissful once you reach here. There are various small food shops that cater to your snack requirements (a little costly, but then worth the view). One definite drawback is the parking issue. There are no dedicated parking places and hence roadside parking causes huge jams.Best time to go: You can visit anytime but rainy and post rainy season time is the bestFood availablity: Yes (as I mentioned, a little costly, but worth the view)Parking: Difficult to get. You can get huge jams during rainy season.Natural beauty: Mesmerizing!Cheers!
