Small city park featuring a playground, benches, grassy fields & a stone garden.
Very nice park with so many chair. It is very convenient for visitors to chat and enjoy the tranquility of the park. In addition, it is very good for families and children to play in the game area in this park.
if not for the weather. Thr park has a lot of great facilities to keep kids challenged and busy.Would come back later in the day next time
Nice park! Spacious and lots of shade trees that provide rest area, let people enjoy a moment of relaxation in the midst of city jungle! I just passed by the park but fell in love instantly! Close to shopping district. There is a cinema and Starbucks coffee shop nearby. Great area for a date!
Love to chill out in this park, clean and convenient
The underground car park has 3 floor levels, and is very large, although it can still become full on weekends.
This very big park. We can play many games here
Its big park with playgrounds, lawns and even some Monuments. Its located in very vibrant Zhongshan area , just behind famous 5 star hotel Regent Taipei. it was the hotel that I took my family to when we first visited Taipei before moving here.
Loved the opportunity to find this patch of green in the concrete jungle of Taipei! Not as large as Daan Park but centrally located in Zhongshan & has walking/jogging paths, a playground for children, a large open field for dog owners and those needing to get back in touch with nature.Beside this park was the recreation centre (though closed when we were there), I would loved to have checked it out.Once your finished with your exercise, you can retreat to the neighbouring Shin Shin Department store (just across the roadwhich holds a Starbucks, TGIF & Burger King, along with Uni Glo, Roots and a host of other stores for fashion and body care. If that isnt enough, theres a Foodcourt on the B1 level, along with Jasons Market place which stocks a host of grocery items from around the Asia region and further abroad.I loved this little neck of the woods and would recommend to anyone needing a break with nature without having to travel too far away π
Nice and spacious park with a bit of history attached to it.
A Quiet Park in Zhongshan DistrictLinsen park is a peaceful, but small park. The park includes a little playground, along with a big grassy field. The paths are stroller-friendly, and children may also enjoy playing on the large stones near the western entrance.
Nice little park in the centre of the city. Nice for a quick stroll or reading a book under a pergola.
In a city jungle, this is a huge need for all of us, just love it. :)
Great public parking lot with well management and affordable fee.
Ok. We lived in the near neighborhood. Please please kindly fix the front English sign. Its been years. How do you expect oversea visitors to know the park.Good impression is what we need for us in Taiwan .
great to walk your dog, sometimes there are concerts
nice park and walking πΆββοΈ
Surrounded by the shopping districts and busy streets within the dynamic downtown area, this park is a livable public place for people of all ages. The unobstructed setting enables children playing around the play facilities that is well under the supervision of their parents, allows folks finding the spot to enjoy a quiet moment under tree canopies while concurrent activities occur, such as walking and jogging, or badminton playing around.
During Japan occupation, it is called γΏγ―γγ‘γγ, δΈζ©ηΊ, as a Japanese cemetery.γγγ γγ¨γγγ, ζη³ε δΊι, the seventh governed, is buried here. After WW II, some discharged soldiers, occupied the place as residence. 2 or 3 decades ago, the place was rebuilt as a park.An ancient combat general, ε²³ι£, who erects and wins the battles against Mongolian invasion. The park become a memorial place to cover the fact of Japan occupation. The is a typical trick to hide the fact that Chinese feel disgrace.
A large park thats suitable for events
It is a nice park where people can have a walk and go jogging in town.
Lots of people come here with family and children to play or relax here. Some play on the jungle bars and playground, some play on own scooters or bike, and some adults exercise by running here too. Itβs a bigger park with seemingly never ending space. What a great place. Itβs also close to Toys r us, fun time included.
This is a beautiful park located in the heart of Taipei. On the weekends (and sometimes on weekdays as well), it is home to a whole host of events. Normally this park is pretty lively at all times of day - it features an open area, a square, walking paths, a kids park and countless PokeStops (for any Pokemon Go players out there). If you are in the area or care for a stroll through a nice park - this is your match.
A cool park in the middle of the city! A great place to see and walk the dogs!πΆ
peaceful place and you can see many dogs without dog collar...
A pleasant, quiet, green area on the edge of the Redlight district of the older part of Taipei. When I first arrived in Taipei it was still a military housing estate. Opposite the park was the Toys-R-Us made famous when Michael Jackson visited Taiwan and went shopping there. He had the full, personal use of the whole shop.
Accessible park from Shin shin department store. It is a relaxing park and has a childrens playground. Great for family and individuals who wish a little quiet. It is also near shops and boutiques. Very convenient.
I usually go there at least once a week with my wife. It isnt a big park, yet it is peaceful.
Calm your mind ... π
A good place for outdoor relaxation. Especially in view of its location in the city.
This nice park has a great parking lot at an excellent location. Just make sure that youre not staying here too late at night because they could be many homeless people spending their nights here. It is not a very safe area but definitely in the middle of everything (McDonalds, KFC, and a movie theater, just to name a few).
So peaceful. We stayed there for few hours passing our time before heading to the airport going back to the Philippines. I love watching the kids playing. Saw some dogs ang puppies with their owners. Makes me missed my furbabies back home.
Nice park in the city to sit and hide from the heat. Has a playground for kids.
Park has nice layout that is great for lots of activities.Weekends are usually busy with people having fun on the field playing all types of outdoor games.Do put on insect repellent as Taiwan parks are full of the little black mosquitoes which can be very painful and swells very badly when bitten.Theres restrooms and water fountain which is very considerate.
Small urban park with playground, and lots of greenery.
Nice little garden for those who want to jog in the city. Sadly the garden is too small, around 700m or less per lapse and you might get bored as you have to do many lapses if you aim at doing 10km or more. The two car park entrance/exit points are located at the two sides of the garden and sometimes can be annoying when you have to stop and wait for the cars.
Great place to take a walk and relax
Clean and nicely done park with a workout place.
Lovely park, lots of shade, lots of dogs to pet for the kids, nice surroundings too!
nice for walks or jogging, but not for relaxation, its near to a main road so its not really peacefully quite there.
This place is awesome. The park is cozy with so may trees. Nearby you can find a swimming pool inside a building. the also provide some tools for children to play. a few sport tools for adult also provided. It is quite near to the main road thus air quality may be not so well compare to the village park. I may suggest you to bring mask during polluted day. Overall, it is recommended to escape from your work and cozy transportation (just 5 minutes from MRT station)
Playground for kids and decent room to play around. Next to Toys R Us to convenient to test out outdoor toys. Also parking under the park
Small park within the city but its good enough to go for a short walk or jog
This is a fun little park with toilets and a drinking fountain, and convenient stores and fast food located very close by. Its a great place to hang out with friends, throw a frisbee or a ball, etc. Theres also a small playground for kids, as well as some very simple exercise equipment (pull up bars, benches for an exercises, etc.). The only downside is that people dont clean up after there dogs very well, so you always have to be on the lookout for poo if youre using the grassy areas.
Nice small park, or big open space. Playgrounds, and benches to sit.
For encompassing such a big land mass, it did little to show for a "park".The shelters and seats cant keep you away from sun or rain, probably more concrete than grass, and hoggers in the area.So you just walk around and try not to get a mosquito bite, good luck!
A nice little park, but not much to do other than walk around. Good toilets, and it is quite clean.
Didnt actually visit the park but theres a large underground parking garage thats very useful for the businesses around the park.
This park is nothing special. It offers a playground for kids, mutliple benches and a space to take cover from rain. Every now and then I end up here because its close to work but the streets around dont help with the noise at this place.
Large grass area, great for playing games with the kids. Not as busy as other largish parks such as Daan park.
Just a small area of green space really, but I remember it being quite nice (visited in 2012).
