Okay, to be honest. Not as impressive as it looks. No cornbread for the evening we are there. The brisket was good, ribs were not. Um, overall, not very happy for the price point of the plates.I would still recommend checking it out. Maybe you’ll have better luck at other options.

MoreI wanted to go here for months, and finally we decided to go.what a disappointment! never never again! Im sorry but the meat is not all that great, pulled pork was dry and the (burgercame with no Sause, the egg and cheese could not save this huge disappointment. The fries are the best! thats why the 2 stars.
MoreWe visited with a really high expectation due to the restaurants high score, but left with a big disappointment. We ordered two sandwiches, Big Brisket Bun and Dr. Eberhardt and both were really plain & overprice. The fries were actually good, hence 2 stars for our visit.
MoreI lived in the Midwest of the US for several years and have tasted a lot of incredible BBQ. I am not lying when I say this brisket almost made me cry tears of joy. From the sauce to the bread to the fries they DELIVERED what I have been missing since I moved to Europe. A little expensive but a price I am more than happy to pay.

MoreThis place has good BBQ. It might be the only one in Berlin, so if you are looking for brisket, ribs, etc, this is your place. Venue is a bit wacky, but still relaxed. Good beers on tap and dessert as well. It aint cheap though, so expect to drop a couple bucks to get everything you want. As a rare treat, its probably worth it.
MoreThe brisket was very good, so was the sausage (homemade). The pulledpork a bit dry … in general good quality BUT very pricy 95€ x 2 persons:- for a bench and uncomfortable table;- very slow service;- and just good meat but nothing special and very small sides.

MoreGreat place unless youre a vegetarian, which you probably arent since youre looking at the reviews for a place with Barbecue in its name. Staff are friendly and food is delicious and fatty. If youre wondering about how much to order, the regular-sized Texas Trinity platter and a few sides would feed about 3-4 people.Reservations can be made on their website, which I strongly recommend due to reasons you can further read upon on their website :)
MoreThe meat had excellent quality and flavor. Service was fine, charm was very minimalistic Berlin Hipster, and the prices were within the accepted high Berlin BBQ range. Our main criticism would be that almost everything had sugar including all the rubs of the meat and all pickles. Some balance would have been appreciated.Update: Had their weekly special: smoked bbq brisket burger and it was great, highly recommended. However, I would have still appreciated some more acidity since everything was dominated by (tastyfat bit even the fries come with mayo.

I arrived and was told there was no capacity, which was fine and obviously not their fault. However I asked if I could simply use their bathroom and as simply told “no” very rudely. I had been to the place several times and the food is great but some staff members could be a lot more friendly.
MoreWe were very unhappy with how the staff treated us. They made a mistake with our order (gave us a bigger portion than we orderedand made us pay for it. When we realized this, they were unwilling to compensate us in any way. That’s not the way to treat your customers in my opinion.
MorePerfectly cooked barbecue. Intensely seasoned falling from the bone cooked low and slow. The best bbq Ive had outside of the US. The meat is the true centrepiece and is allowed to shine while the sides are served in appropriate portions to allow the meat to really do its job. Amazing food quality of service and preparation. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
MoreGreat food, great service. Ribs and Jalapeno sausages were delicious and well seasoned. Pickles could have been a bit more sour and salty to my taste. IPA beer from the tap was very nice.

MoreI am an American college student living in a small town of Germany. My two best friends invited me over for a weekend getaway, and they never had American style BBQ. I wanted to share with them good Texas style bbq and I found this quaint location.. The experience was amazing, the food spectacular! Honestly hard to judge which meat was better. The crust on the ribs are to die for, the spice on the sausage was spectacular. The bernaise was a winner 🏆! The price is super reasonable too! Martin, our waiter and the rest of the staff provided great service. I found a place I would easily recommend for any BBQ lover to try, and this is it.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff friendly and professional, the Brisket melts in your mouth, the rib meat is moist and succulent. I could go on and on but this is the real deal. Go and experience it for yourself.

This place is bonkers. Im not going to say its better than the best BBQs Ive visited in Texas but its certainly better than a lot of them. A absolute gem in Wedding. Everything is homemade by hand and it really shows in the taste and price. Highly recommended!
MoreBeen to Lino’s several times before, it’s a bit pricey but that is understandable since they make really good Texas bbq which takes time & a lot of manual labor. Had the Halloween brunch special recently, the tacos in the breakfast taco were amazing, bacon is really good, the pit master Benedict had generous portions of their delightful brisket, & the donut, which might not get a handshake from the Paul Hollywood in GBBO, had one of the best tasting dulce de leche-like filling.

Everything you order is handcrafted - and nothing is made without putting thought into how it’s done best. If you are not looking for a fancy location but if you want authentic BBQ with maximum attention to detail - come to this place.

MoreI went into this meal with a lot of expectation. As someone who is no expert on Texan barbecue, I enjoyed the food for the most part. Pork rib and spicy sausage were fantastic. So juicy, fatty and beautifully smoked. Pulled pork was a bit dry and didn’t have the melt in your mouth texture I yearn for. The brisket had a great peppery rub but, again, was too dry and probably a bit over cooked. I like the approach of this place: pickles, sauces, slaw are all made in-house. The meats are all cooked in a custom-built smoker (which is worth having a sneak peek at). I admire the craft and dedication that goes into it. But for €35 (bearing in mind I was in a group of 5 which barely drank any alcoholI was expecting a little bit more. This shouldn’t deter you from going, far from it. This attitude and approach means there will be off days and I hope this was just one of them. But I am still willing to come back and try again and hopefully bump this review up to a 5.
MoreThis is the best food and a restaurant experience I’ve ever had in Berlin! The service was impeccable! It started from a friendly greeting by a super nice staff member who speaks English. He told us about their dishes, the way the meat is prepared, and patiently waited for us to discuss and choose. The food came quickly and it was all perfectly delicious. I mean it - all was great. The meat was soft, perfectly spicy and salty. The fries are the best I’ve ever tried anywhere. The tap beer is amazing too. We took an IPA. It had a nice and gentle taste, no bitterness. I’m so impressed by this place and I highly recommend it to everyone!

MoreI think this is one of the top BBQ locations in Berlin (and Im on a quest to visit every single one). The flavor is very, very good. Good smoke flavor, hard to beat, they know their craft very well. Good selection of meats (brisket, pork ribs, sausages and pulled pork, Pastrami on Fridays), cool presentation of the pork ribs. Excellent, excellent picked sides (pickles, red onionsand tasty sauces (sweet BBQ, hot BBQ, mayonnaise). Fries are also awesome.But. You wont get a brisket straight out of the smoker and cut in front of you (at least I havent, and I was there pretty early as well). Since its a restaurant and you come by whenever, your brisket is re-heated in an oven. And the brisket dries out. Its not as mouthwateringly juicy as Im sure it comes out of the smoker. They try to manage it by not reheating it too much, but that leaves you with a lukewarm and dry brisket. I hope that they will develop a different method.To be fair, almost no other restaurant offers brisket for that very reason, pork ribs, pulled pork and sausages are so much easier to handle. Linos has the balls to do it and I still order brisket every time Im there, since the flavor is so good. Life with a slightly less than perfect brisket is better than without, so please keep going! 🤗
MoreAfter one year we went again, this time for the first Friday of the month Pastrami special. Although we were not amused by the chaotic service, we loved the different kinds of beef meat, long prepared and slow cooked. 5 for the meat, 2 for the service. And here is what I wrote a year ago, when I was more impressed: If you are a meat addict, this is the place to indulge. 12 hours slow cooked, smoked pork and beef, Texan style. The result is so tasty and smooth, the portions are huge, for instance the Texas trinity. We equally liked the fries and the red onions. Try to save a space for the only dessert on the menu: the divine cheesecake!

The only thing was that it was a bit cold inside. I felt uncomfortable. I’m gonna come back soon though for a second try, the meat was on point.Update 28th April (Second try):Awesome pulled pork sandwich. Only negative thing was that they went out from American pale ale (IPAtonight. So we took something else. At the end the waiter was super kind and apologized again and offered us two shots! MoreWe came for pastrami Friday, so the regular plates are not available.The meat was excellent. The pastrami ribs in particular was extremely soft and perfectly cooked. The pastrami sausage was delicious as well. The "plain" pastrami itself was really tasty but it was the least impressive part of the food.The cheesecake was good but it was almost at room temperature, which is not very usual.Definitely coming back to try the other options on non pastrami Fridays
MoreWe went for brisket Friday and it was delicious. Also the beef rib was excellently smoked with a heavy pepper crust. Only the prices are quite hefty considering the low key interior and location. Watch out that meat cuts are priced per 100g. Sandwich was delicious. The prices are not absurd just surprising. Overall strong BBQ game.
MoreMy God. When a good cook meets a good cut of meat, a miracle happens. And this place, by far wins my heart. I drove 600 kilometers just for Linos. It might seem crazy but me and 3 other friends decided to go for it. I had watched the youtube video by coca-cola and lino was featured and as an American living in Germany I knew I had to visit. Best staff, great communication and hospitality from the server, great timing. They cater for your needs and just want to put a smile on your face. You guys are perfect. Never change. You have now mastered the art of smoked meat and customer satisfaction and now all you have to do is maintain that level of greatness. Thank you for a everything Lino. And come to Düsseldorf please. I promise it will be worth it! 😅P.S: we only spoke on the phone to confirm my reservation but I also really wanted to meet you Lino and shake your hand. MoreI was recommended by a friend from Texas, I was expecting a good barbecue and nothing more. I can say that the meat was the best I have ever had in my life, and I had many. Completely different from any other. The brisket was incredibly juicy, the sausages great and the rib amazing. The fries were perfect. I can’t stop saying how good experience it was. People that complain about the price never bought a good cut of meat from the butcher and they probably buy meat on discount in supermarkets. MoreI missed smoked meat so much and this place filled the beef rib-shaped hole in my heart. We had pork spareribs, beef ribs, and brisket as well as the beef fat fries, macaroni and cheese, and pecan pie. The beef ribs were by far the best meat. There was a perfect crust on the outside and the meat itself was soooo tender, flavorful, and rendered in its own fatty deliciousness. The mac and cheese was top notch and the fries were really tasty as well. We ate until we had trouble breathing, and it took us a couple of hours. I only wish there had been coleslaw and or cornbread. I cannot wait to go back again soon.

Food was just on point: the meat was professionally made, accurate and with attention to details, the atmosphere was casual but yet kept the filling of a restaurant. MoreSuper delicious! The smoky taste is amazing! Even side dishes are very tasty. Excellent service. Cool atmosphere. My personal favorite is the brisket. Compared to other places I have been to, here its more tender (and more fatty which I like but for some people not so much). They also have home made deserts which can be different from one day to another.
MoreAbsolutely outstanding. The only authentic Texas BBQ that Ive come across in Germany and a class of its own. Banger brisket, beef and pork ribs, home made sausage and specials like rack of veal. All oak smoked.
