Lingua Café-Bar - Bar in Beirut, Lebanon
The place is nice with a classy decoration.Having 2 floors. The second floor has a nice big bar. Each and every day, they have a special. The staff is friendly.Portions are good. The goat cheese sandwich is ok.The smoked salmon sandwich has a light smoking. The truffle fries has the truffle odor but not the taste.Prices are fair. The place worth a 3.5
Delicious and calm restaurant
Nice coffee shop with a nice section of food and good drinks. would definitely recommend this place
Food arrived cold although i m 10 min delivery away . The steak sandwich tasted below average i did not like the texture of the meat also, fries were cold not tasty, the salad was small and they added sauce ahead which made it soggy ( instead of putting it on the side)... disappointing meal
I visited this place with friends, on a Thursday night to watch the talented Nour Nemri. It was one of the best nights! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The environment is amazinggg!! But the food is not that tasty, I ordered the goat cheese salad and I was expecting something else!I’ll definitely go another time and have drinks only!
The place is a bit overpriced
Great food great drinks very nice ambiance
Excellent mood ... awesome vibes ...
Classy
Excellent food, drinks and friendly staff. Cool place to visit
The Ultimate Café, very high Italian standards, the greatest food and highest quality, awesome beverages, great bands and perfect nighlife experience... Highly Recommended
🔸Ambiance/Presentation:Lingua is one of those places that can be calm and soothing during the day and can become sensational and full of life and music towards the nights! This outlet consists of 3 floors: the ground floor is the café, which in our opinion is much more than a regular café and more of a high end one, 1st floor is the bar which has high bar tables and couches, and -1 floor for the spacious and clean toilets. This place is very chic yet modern and comfortable. Love the interior and the location! Parking area for lingua itself is available for around 50 cars! Food and drinks are beautifully presented in modern and simple sets.🔸 Food:We have to state that all portions offered were highly generous. Prices are also fair for the quality and quantity you get. If you’re under a limited budget, here is big news! Lingua also does a 50% of on all drinks everyday from 5 to 8 pm!As appetizers, we had the:• Dynamite Shrimps: 6 pieces of beautifully cooked shrimps with one serious spicy mix!• Mini Burgers: We personally love this appetizer as it gives you the chance to try a little of different flavors at once! Bun was soft and fillings were juicy. All were delicious, our favorite was the bbq burger which we would definitely try as a main course from the new added burger section next time!• Artichoke Dip: Very cheesy yet so light! This dish is served with half crisped brown bread!• Fries: Stunningly crisped fries! As for the main dishes, we had the steak and frites and the chicken Portuguese, and to be quite honest both dishes exceeded our expectations in their taste, presentation, uniqueness, and portion! Both dishes are HIGHLY recommended. For drinks, we had the Special Zombie and the special strawberry, both were light and fruity.🔸 Service:Staff at Lingua are highly professional, friendly, and welcoming! Speed of service is fast! Main course take a prep time of 10 minutes and staff their make sure you get it when you wish for with no wait.

Very nice place to be in.Best food.Best serviceBest music.
Amazing food and environment. I highly recommend draft beer and chicken wings. Good prices too
Beware of the appearances, as behind the most modest doors hide the best experience.A new resto café opened its doors in Sin El Fil, in the same building as The American Lebanese Language Center, where young Jad took in charge a family location and turned it into "Lingua" as he was inspired by the location for the name. Two levels, two moods, amazing service and ultimate quality. Thanks to The.foodb I had the chance to try this lovely concept with Omnomnivore, a.view_lb, and rayonreel. All the ingredients of a good evening were present. The owners are so attentive, and working to deliver a service to make you feel welcome. All details are well thought of. The staff is well-trained and present without being imposing. We enjoyed a selection of appetizers:The artichoke and spinach dip: served with their homemade bread: even though I am not a big fan of heavy plates, yet this one is balanced and few bites wont hurt! The salmon tartare: a new presentation and the sauce is made with light mayo and really not heavy at allThe Dynamite shrimps: the beautiful serving, the spicy dip, and the crunchiness of the shrimps were at every bodys tasteTrio mini burgers: classic, mexican and bbq, I only had a bite but can say that the quality of the meat is topShrimps dumplings: litteraly melting in your mouth, rarely have I tasted ones that goodThe baked spring rolls: the dough is also home made and is filled genrously!Halloum skewers: grilled cubes with cherry tomatoes and basil: so fresh and simple, drizzled with pomegranate molasses adding the needed acidity.Fresh crab salad: horray, served over a bed of rocca and with pieces of avocado and boiled potatoes on the side; delicious but the sauce needs some adjustmentAs for the mains, we could not choose one so we ordered the three:Steak frites: tender meat, delicious sauce and crispy fries!Chicken Portuguese per favor: what a creative recipe: mustard sauce, covering the grilled chicken served with homemade grilled mille- feuille stuffed with spinach. It could not get any better! And the fish filet served with a side of mashed potatoes, lemon sauce with hints of butter which left it creamy yet not heavy and I loved the caramelized carrots contrasting the sour with sweet.Jad insisted that we taste the home-baked dessertThe peanut butter cake: a must try, it is just DELICIOUSThe triple chocolate: the recipe is so balanced that you can eat the piece by yourself without feeling heavyThe oreo cheese cake and the carrot cake were my least favorite.A very successful concept managing to create different moods for the same place; I cant wait to be back and try their coffee corner!Recommended by La Petite!XOXO
