Staff friendly overall but once I complained about Kleftiko it was swimming in thin sauce, was told that was how it was served there and they would get Thanos to come over. We have a lot of Greek heritage in the family and visit Greece frequently so was disappointed in the experience.Thanos didnt appear so we paid bill and left.Green beans waterlogged and roast potatoes black and unpalatable. My partners meal was OK though. It seems a mixed bag depending on what you order.

Food was good, beer was good, and staff were excellent!

Just had couple of beers with my sons. Host and bar staff really welcoming, however some of the locals made you feel less than welcome... certainly had that cliché village feeling about the place, which is odd as my son lives in Wilsden village. Obviously dont like new faces

It was my aniversery 36 years so thought i would treat my wife for a meal, i orderd drinks which the landlord must have forgot them as he only rememberd when he came back into the dining area, i had the steak n ale pie, it was good but had better, wife had kotopoulo lemonato, this was a small portion and the chicken was rather dry, we also ordered a portion of beer batterd onion rings, which they had forgot, they where brought out later after the reminder, but hey ho it was our aniversery so it wasnt going to spoil it 👍

The pie was chicken stue with a bit of pastery on top.the chips.Were overcooked oversaulted shop bought French fries. £13.00 FOR PIE AND CHIPS.£15.00 FOR Sunday dinner. NO Ido like Quontaty over quality this provides neitherToby Calverley next time

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Mix of traditional pub grub and Greek food, all delicious.

We were very pleasantly surprised after dropping in when passing. The professionalism and friendliness of the owners was first class. I was surprised that the menu was Greek themed, although by no means in a bad way. English dishes are also available. It was difficult to choose from the exciting extensive menu. Vegetarians,vegans and gluten intolerant customers also are well catered for. Dog friendly too. Whether you want to eat, or just a drink the atmosphere is excellent. It was so good we are going back again with the extended family.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal here today. They specialize in Greek cuisine and the kleftiko was excellent . Efficient and friendly service completed the experience. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely food, highly recommend. Although the most recent time I’ve been food was burnt. Hopefully just a bad day because normally lush. Definitely don’t like children tho

I review food and food establishments. Read this for an honest review. Me and my other half came to ling Bob because the website looked good and the establishment its self looked nice. To be honest it was absolutely amazing food. Actual autnetic Greek recipes. The burger was very mouth watering, covered in cheese and beautiful relish. The chicken in the burger was covered in a lovely crispy spicey batter. The bun was a lovely brioche bun with the "x" sign cut on the top. The chips are not home made but with the price it doesnt really matter to be honest, they were still nice and crisp. The side of onion rings was absolutely gorgeous with crispy home made batter. We got about 10 big onion rings for 2.50 I think the price was!!!. The Greek lamb kebab was very soft and tender as well as the pitta. The price was bang on for what we had. The lamb kebabs had a lovely Greek sauce and they were seasoned good with mint!. The only thing I can put a downer on is, I wanted a Greek lamb kebab but I wanted grilled chicken pieces with it as I like to eat grilled chicken with Greek kebabs as thats what I get when I go to other similar places. But the owner just refused to do it for me for some reason. He did say he wouldnt know how to charge me for it but other places just stick another few quid on the bill. It was a more expensive dish than the burger as well so it didnt make sense that he didnt want to make more money by doing that? He was polite but needed to smile abit more lol... We will be back very soon for one of them lovely burgers.. The young lad working at the bar with glasses was very polite and well spoken. Its had a lovely refurbishment as well. PHOTOS HERE.....

Beautiful day, lovely food, excellent atmosphere, perfect company!!

Firstly before I even talk about the food the service was shocking. The female manager was rude, abrupt and passive aggressive.The food was cold, so I sent this back, when the original food returned heated up on the same plate with the same sauce I questioned whether this was fresh. The manager was rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. All I wanted was hot, freshly cooked food, not cold food reheated.My boyfriend’s BBQ bacon was fatty, undercooked and so much sauce you could swim in it. All on top of cold salad.Prawns were over cooked and rubbery.When I asked for sauce I was questioned and make manager said “why? There’s sauce already on the fries.” There was not!The service I felt was poor and even when asking for the bill the female manager (Lyndahad no manners and made no eye contact or made my boyfriend feel like he was not welcome.Shocking and wouldn’t return, let alone recommend!!Avoid at all costs!!

Wonderful pub,lovely decor, wood burner fire, nice and cosy. Called in with dogs a few times and made to feel very welcome.

4 of us visited today and what a treat. Weather prevented us from attending geek night last night, but there were still Greek dishes on the menu. Starters mains and deserts all lovely and cooked with care. Service and hospitality was great and a delight to be there. Some of us had Greek dishes and some had Sunday roasts. All dishes were great without exception. We’ll definitely go again and glad we braved the weather to get there.

We never have a bad meal here. Great pub grub with Greek dishes also available. Lovely couple who run it and great beer. What more could you ask for?

Amazing food. Staff were really friendly and looked after our table. They had a really good selection of spirits and beer. Would recommend the crispy pork belly, was cooked perfectly!

Never been before, lovely place. A great menu and vast amount of ale to select from. Staff were exceptional and food was 5*+. Will be returning in the very near future. I can imagine this place bussing in the summer.

Great selection of local ales and some interesting draught lagers. The new bar gives an open, welcoming feel. Love it.

Nice family lunch at the Ling Bob. Bit of a strange menu with several Greek dishes but everyone enjoyed their food. Great Yorkshire blonde too...shame I was driving!

The best pint of Boltmeker this side of Knowle Spring. Someone has a review on here saying small portions which is not the case at all. I defy anyone to call the fish n chips small. Excellent food, not cheap but worth every penny, and Thanos is a great mine host.

Our first visit. The owners are working on modernising the customer areas while maintaining a comfortable environment for diners and drinkers. The menu offers many interesting choices and we thoroughly enjoyed the stefado and the kleftiko. Very friendly staff and good service. Looking forward to our next visit.

Went to Tuesday night pub quiz, felt very welcomed into the pub by landlord, got us a table and served our drinks. The quiz was fun but difficult, added bonus to super which was delicious. We will be back!

Nice pub and staff really friendly. Good choice of drinks. Nice to sit out but just wish there werent so many wannabe F1 drivers using the road which goes past it! Dont let it put you off though, its a lovely pub

Beautiful, quirky little pub. The food is AMAZING. The staff are absolutely lovely and cant do enough to help. It feels like a very relaxed place to go out for tea.

Lovely food as always.We decided to go at 12 oclock thinking it would be less busy in mid week, this was our 1st meal out for months.We werent asked if we had track and trace and werent asked for our details. We ate our food rather quickly as the pub got busier we didnt feel safe due to the distance between the tables.

Really disappointed! Service was initially really good and friendly but was slow and the food was even slower (they weren’t busy), when it came it was really small portions and not cheap. Sadly when it finally arrived the food was not up to standard either. It was generally bland and a little over cooked. The lamb kebab was especially bad - tough and tasted like socks. It was too expensive for what you got - poor food! I will not be going back as manager when my wife asked for there to be no raw onions the manager was passive aggressive and rude. Not good enough!

An overall great experience. The food was delicious and the staff were welcoming and seemed knowledgeable. I will likely return.

A very pleasant dining pub with a great menu choice with a mixture of Greek and English dishes. The starters were lovely tasteing and not too large. The main dishes were well presented and cooked very well.The pub comprises of two dining rooms, with one of the rooms being used for a larger group. There is plenty of parking towards the side of the pub.Highly recommended.

Went to sample the thursday night two steaks and a bottle of wine for £28 and have to say were very very impressed. Excellent food cooked to perfection, excellent wine and excellent service. Even though we booked a table for 8pm and were running late so asked to postpone till 8.30 this was not a problem at all. Couldnt have asked for a better night. This could very well be a regular Thursday night haunt. Monday night burger and a pint for a tenner is definitely appealing too. Then theres quiz night thats piqued our interest too. Great little pub, and not too from our house.

Great pub with welcoming and friendly owners. Ive eaten a few times and the quality is superb, the dishes on the Greek menu are beautiful.The interior is really nice now and nothing like the old pub it used to be.Would definitely recommend, its good for sitting out in the summer and for enjoying the real fire in the winter.

Timothy Taylors Boltmaker, served well. I had whitebait as a starter...a good portion, nicely cooked (not smothered in crunchy breadcrumbs!), served with leaves and garlic mayo. Moules Marrinere as a main...again, a good portion with fries and garlic bread. I also had some feta on the fries. Finished off with baclava. All I can say is "What a good do!" Thank you.
