Small hometown restaurant worth the visit. The food was delicious. Staff was friendly and inviting.

Very well priced items with a very good taste. Im wide variety of selections including salads burgers soups various homemade pies as well as daily specials. I highly recommend you stop in and give this small location a try because it is big on feelings and flavor.

Locally owned restaurant with diner style service. Still cooking up classic Americana foods. The staff are wonderful with kids and make you feel like youre home.

I would say 4.5Nice family diner tucked away off the interstate. Prices were great, food was homemade and filling. We took a chance for a country diner when passing through & were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and did the best they could with how crowded it was with locals.If you are looking for a nice country diner with a home feel and grandmas cooking check them out.

Unexpected small town restaurant, nice food, friendly service.

Ordered take out. I ordered a fishtail Sandwich with cheese lettuce and tomato. When we got home I opened my container and it was just a piece of fish laying there. I was so disappointed.

Four of us age range 40s-70s. We all loved this little restaurant. The staff was very kind and friendly. We ordered BBQ Ribs, Grilled Chicken and Steak. Everyone was very pleased with their meal and felt like they got plenty. We plan to make Lindys a regular stop when we are in the area.

Small Diner atmosphere, Not a very big menu selection, special was sirloin with mushroom gravy mashed potatoes and vegetables $8.95. Good food , Senior crowd.

Service was exceptional but the food was not good. Ordered a steak, mashed potatoes and broccoli. Everything was bland and without seasoning. The steak was awful and tasted off, like it was old or bad

What a fantastic place.. it felt like home. Welcomed the family at the door. Home style cooking, big portions. Nothing fancy but everything was excellent.

Great food and service except the waitress are very over worked and cant service the customers adequately.

Bad food and they refused to refund our money since we didnt eat it, Never got drink refills, since the service staff decided to take a 30 min smoke break. Was told there was no manager on duty to help us and we would get a phone call later for a refund. Havent gotten it. DO NOT GO THERE TO EAT.

Must of been new waitress. Ask for a refill and she was on her phone. But food was good

This was a morning stop coming home from a camping trip. Nice comfort food stop for a quick bite to eat. I had the breaded veal with gravy. It was good. Great friendly service as well. Two thumbs up!

Excellent down home cookin ! Inexpensive. Try the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, roll, and coconut cream pie. YUM !!! Good coffee too ! Definitely recommend ! 😃

Great food at a great price. I had the Fish and Chips special and it was delicious. The butterscotch pie was also great. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a home cooked style meal that wont burn a hole through your wallet.

Lindys Family Restaurant has always been a treasure 2 my family, especially w/my Mom & I. We always liked 2 go there 4 lunch or dinner & so it carries on w/me! Love 2 my Mom in Heaven & Love 2 Lindys!

I love this restaurant. Its a nice, family sort of restaurant that always offers a pleasant experience. Ive never had a bad meal here. The prices are great for the portion sizes too! Definitely recommend!

Lindys is awesome. Its small, dated and reminds you of a diner atmosphere. The menu had a great selection. The staff was friendly and the food tasted great. I had the club sandwich and fries with a bowl of Lindys homemade chili. Amazing. The club was good and the fries were cooked to perfection. The chili had great flavor and tasted wonderful. Lindys is a hidden gem in Cumberland. You definitely need to go check them out.

I love Lindys! It reminds me of the diners from the 60s I went to as a kid. Its the closest thing to my moms home cooking. So when I dont feel like cooking, I can jump in the car & be there in a few minutes. They close at 730 pm, so if you like late meals, dont show up here. The portions are perfect. Not too much, but enough to make me comfortably full. Finally, the prices are great, too. I can eat here a few times a week if I want! Oh, they also have carry out. Check it out!

We went on a Cumberland train ride and talked to the conductor of the train. We told him we were going to get something to eat after the ride. He recommended Lindy’s. He told us to let them know that the “Conductor” recommended the place. We are from the city so I was like stepping back in time to an old fashioned diner. The food was homemade ,tasty and very well priced.

Love the atmosphere and the crab sandwich with huge onion rings is excellent. SO much that I swear Ill try something else but I just cant! Love everything accept wish open later.

The food was amazing! The service was great! The food was all home cooked! We had roast beef(realand Meatloaf sandwiches with mashed potatoes and gravy! The portions were huge! And the price was also amazing! Highly recommended! Its like stepping back in time. :)

We are from out of town and found the place using Google. Read its reviews, based off that we figured wed give it a try. Glad we did, from the outside it looks as though youre entering someones house. Dont let that scare you. It was awesome inside. That old diner feel was all around you. The meals the 4 of us ordered were great! And the prices we also great. Dont pass this one up if youre in town!

Came here just to try the place out. Walked in and got stared at by everyone. I suppose that is typical yet it was very awkward. It took around 10 minutes for someone to actually come to our table and get our orders and drink. When we actually did get our food, we had a different waiter every time someone came to our table which made the experience really weird and impersonal.However, the food I got (Broccoli Cream soupwas good, but thats probably the only thing Id get if I went again.

Had a party of 24 & meals were brought out as they were ready. Not held till all of them were ready at once. Food was hot & very good. 2 Thumbs Up!

Came here because of the reviews and I was not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious at a very reasonable price. We unknowingly lucked out by coming on a Saturday. Kids 12 and under get a free meal with the purchase of one dinner... and its good for up to two kids! I got the meatloaf and it far exceeded my expectations!!! Needless to say, this is a new favorite
