We made an impromptu stop here on the way into Napier. Trevor was fabulous- entertained us with stories, showed us the barrel room and let us sample lots of wines including a few special ones. The wines are beautiful of course- we bought three bottles. But the ambience with the beautiful timber building and great service were the highlights.

Lovely place, nice wines, the hosts last day here she will be sadly missed.

Just stopped in for a tasting this time, got a few bottles to take away. Friendly service, and some great outdoor areas, be a nice place to go with a group on a sunny day

Wow. This was the last place we visited as we were heading out of Napier. We definitely saved the best till last! Linda and Trevor were wonderful hosts. Super knowledgeable and very hard workers. The wine was incredible, so we just had to buy a few bottles for the road.

Awesome boutique vineyard! Well worth it for the views, wine, and service. Had the best time in the sun on bean bags, sipping sparkling rose :)

Had yet another amazing experience at Linden Estate on our way back to Taupo. Our host was friendly, interesting and generous...a pleasure to spend time sampling and discussing wine with. And, as always, a delicious experience tasting wines that never fail to please. We will be back!

Splendid setting in the Esk Valley overlooking the vineyard.Varied menu, Food freshly made ,wonderful flavors and presentation Superb. The wine tasting experience was brilliant, we really had an informative and entertaining experience..Thank you...

We highly recommend Linden Estate. Vicki gave us a wonderful tasting with cheese and crackers to accompany our wine. We also were given the opportunity to meet Greg in the cellar and taste some of the freshly pressed wine from this seasons pick. Staff were lovely and accommodating, make sure you stop here whilst you are in the Hawkes Bay ❤️

Went to Linden on Thursday. Trevor was a wonderful guide to the special Linden wines. Funny, entertaining & informative. Very welcoming & unlike other winery tastings weve been to. Beautiful estate & lovely wines. Highly recommended.

Idyllic location at the first and last pitstop between Napier and Taupo. Wines that really showcase the sites around the winery. All approachable, affordable and beautiful representations of the the respective varietals! Alex and Greg are doing a fantastic job

Made to feel welcome the minute I walked in the door. Tasted some of the nicest wines in the bay( and I have been to most of the wineries.Make sure you put Linden on your wine trail.

We arrived at Linden Estate hoping for lunch and a glass or two of wine.They do not do food or have an off licence to serve glasses of wine.However... Sue ..... Such a lovely person... gave us numerous tastings and told us were to go for lunch.... no charge!Nice location...still a bit new ... needs our support.The Chardonay.... lightly oaked was superb.

We had the best experience at linden estate. Trevor gave us phenomenal service and was incredibly passionate about the wine. Wine tastings at the cellar door consist of about 8 wine tastings(with generous poursand complimentary cheese and crackers. The wines were incredible and between our group of 4, we left with 9 bottles of wine which were all very reasonably priced. Beautiful place and highly recommend

Wine tasting was fantastic! Trevor was knowledgeable and entertaining. Wine cheese and chat. Left with 15 bottles of highly recommended wine and a couple of ports for good measure. A most enjoyable afternoon in a relaxed enviroment. Enjoying a 2016 epitom e now. 😍

The lady at the counter was 30 years of winery experience and very friendly and knowledgable. Takeaway wine was a little expensive, will visit again or order their wine online.

A must visit if you visit the Hawkes Bay. We were welcomed like long lost friends by Sue and Trevor. Sue sat us down and along with a history of the vineyard and area introduced us to most of the wines. Sue has an excellent knowledge of the wines and explained the various varieties well. The wines are very good and reasonably priced. We purchased 6 Syrah, the price included free freight to the SI and 6 bottles for the cost of 5. The tasting room is modern, clean and tastefully designed.

This is the second time we have eaten at d vine restaurant this time for Sunday lunch Mr Miller (da chefyou did it again beautiful food with great respect for ingredients and great service no note pad required for this highly professional maitre de.most meals priced round the mud thirty dollar range well worth it we will be back 😀

Beautiful unexpected tasting: we were on our way out of Hawke’s bay after a weekend away, when an accident closed the main road. We turned round and, at 4:30pm, stopped in at Linden estate. Trevor was just leaving, but happily did a tasting for us, and we had the most beautiful time! Stunning wine with some great deals on purchasing. Made a rubbish situation (not being able to get to rotorua!into a fantastic afternoon.Could not rate Trevor (Britishhigher, thank you SO much for having us at short notice. He also recommended us a place in Napier for dinner, which we tried and was fantastic. Thank you again!!!

Loved the cellar door at this place. Quiet Tuesday afternoon so Vicky spent a lot of time chat and letting us try different wines. Highly recommended

Amazing. We visited both restaurant and cellar door. Both look great, the new cellar door builidng is fabulous. Food was delicious and service was good as well, but the best experience was the cellar door. We were lucky that no one was there, so we had enough time to chat with the staff that was really kind. They have nice wines for reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Winery. Stunning setting and views with the most wonderful friendly and generous hosts you can find. We were not rushed at all and given plenty of time to savour and really enjoy each wine tasting. Which were so good we all left with purchasing a few bottles.Did not eat there as we already had a previous booking elsewhere but the menu looked fantastic too.

We only did a wine tasting, as we were booked in to have lunch somewhere else, but we really enjoyed this stop. The gentleman taking us through our tasting, at our table, was knowledgable, passionate and lovely to chat with.Our kids were made very welcome, unlike some cellar doors around the world, to the extent they were provided a glass of the non-alcoholic sparking grape juice to try.We enjoyed the ambience and the visit, leaving with a few bottles.This was our first Hawkes Bay winery, so it was great to get the local information on the varieties and history of Hawkes bay.

Did a wine tasting with my sister. Beautiful wine, friendly staff. Only suggestion would be to have somewhere to sit with the wine tasting. But will be ordering online as wine really was gorgeous.

Linden is well worth a visit. We really enjoyed the wines and Mary was fantastic. Top of our list for our next visit.
