Lighthouse Hostel in Skopje

I visited Skopje for around 2 years ago and visited every possible hostel before Lighthouse Hostel and nothing worked except for this. Super nice staff and the rooms are super great for the price offered. Close to the city and everything else. Highly recommend Lighthouse Hostel!

Quiet and serene , at a walking distance from bus station and very friendly and knowledgeable owner with excellent support staff. The hostel is well lighted and facing river on one side.

Super hostel ! Staff accueillant, dortoir confortable, ambiance chaleureuse : babyfoot, verres de rakia offerts, vente de bières, etc.

This hostel is so comfortable and relaxed - the staff is super helpful and involved. They were attentive and responsive to all my questions. Very clean as well!The breakfast was also a great spread and included with the booking.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice place in Skopje.

Easily one of the best hostels Ive stayed in. The friends that run this place have created a fantastic atmosphere. And its close to everything you need - town, buses to day trips and some tasty local restaurants!

If you are staying or passing by Skopje, then I would absolutely recommend staying at Lighthouse Hostel. I was in Skopje for longer than planned as my passport got stolen, and I stayed in the hostel for 12 days in total. The location is excellently placed - its a bit secluded yet 10 mins walk from the city centre. The rooms are very clean and since I was practically living there I saw them do a thorough job every day of making sure the entire hostel was sparkling clean. But what truly sets this hostel apart is the people. The staff here are warm, wonderful, friendly and just great to be around. It feels like staying with a fun family when you are here. If youre in Skopje to come stay here just to add to your experience of being in the city. I would visit Macedonia again just so I can swing by and chill out at the hostel because it was such a great experience to be there

If Ive stayed in a better Hostel, I cant think when. Well situated a short five minute stroll into Skopje. Room for parking a handful of motorbikes, of road and it feels safe. A really well thought out and well laid out space. One of the most relaxing hostels Ive ever been to. What nudged it from five out of five to six out out of five stars were the hosts. A great, warm, welcoming team. Fantastic place I can recommend without reservation...

My greatest stay in the Balkans. It is located in a very quiet neighbourhood, within walking distance from both the train/bus station and the city centre. Met a lot of cool travellers here!

This place is very nice, cozy and casual. The staff is super friendly and funny. They have foosbal table, 24/7 open reception and nice garden with lazy bags and sunny chair. The whole atmosfere is so relaxed, and os reminging me of nice vacation. I am giving number 10 review. Go ahead guys.

Doručak bi mogao biti raznovrsniji i nedostaje radnik koji bi čistio posuđe nakon tog obroka umjesto samih korisnika. Nedostatak za žene i nemoćne je što ne postoji lift.

Hostel čist i uredan, osoblje uslužno. Jedina zamjerka što tuš kabine nisu malo bolje odvojene.

Sehr cooles Hostel! Super entspannt, netter Staff. Hostel ist sehr modern eingerichtet (Eröffnung 2018). Würde sofort wieder kommen, sehr empfehlenswert.

The most friendly place in Skopje

My First review. Its an excellent hostel. hostel hosts are all very informative and very nice. So informative and map out all the sights of skopje, they know all the transport schedules, modern and clean.Nonthing negative to say. I am a month in to my travels and this hostel was the best one I have been to.This place encouraged me to spend days in Ohrid, Macedonia and I rarely leave the capital city.(If only the hostles in Athens and Istanbul were this enthusiastic about their country I might have never left.)Breakfast is small but enough for me and good for the hostel price (bread, preservatives and cereal). They leave the breakfast out so i was eating the leftovers in the afternoon after i checked out.Just watch out for Skopje transportation, make sure to ask all relevant questions and then some before you leave the hostel for your next venture.

Lindo lugar para compartir con amigos y pareja. Nos hospedamos en la suite familiar, muy completa pero demasiado luminosa. El wifi funcionaba bastante mal.

Das Hostel liegt etwas am Rand der Innenstadt. Zu Fuß sind es etwa 15 Minuten ins Zentrum von Skopje. Wir hatten das Familienzimmer im Dachgeschoss mit 2 Zimmern, Küche und Balkon. Es war alles sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Gastgeber war mega nett und half uns bei allen Nachfragen. Wir konnten problemlos mit dem Hund übernachten. Das Frühstück ist hosteltypisch etwas mager, aber immerhin gibt es frisches Obst : Wer mit dem Motorrad oder Fahrrad reist, hat die Möglichkeit, den abgeschlossenen Innenhof zu nutzen - sehr praktisch! Ich war mit dem Hostel sehr zufrieden und empfehle es.

A very spacious, clean and quite place, good breakfast with cereal, toasts, coffee etc. and most of all friendly people at the reception. My favorite hostel in Macedonia!

Great host, very clean and comfortable, warm atmosphere, in one word excellent. My best recommendation.

Really really like this hostel. Peter (owneris a really nice guy as are the other staff. A friendly and helpful bunch. The hostel is bright and cheery with loads of space to hang out, relax with other guests and just enjoy the space. Theres a lovely atmosphere here and feels like a home from when you arrive. Facilities are great, showers, wifi, big spacious dorms. And we could also lock our bikes in a safe place which was great for us. Top notch! Thanks again Peter for your kindness and good luck!
