Fonthill Rd, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, Ireland, Naas
Modern shopping mall with a variety of brand-name retailers, plus a movie theatre & casual dining.
Car parking charges and cashless machines have ruined this centre, do not shop here unless you enjoy frustration, shambolic management, waiting in lines to pay at cashless machines and having endured that having to wait again at the barriers as hapless motorists try and exit. Will not be going back 😢
New parking system is straight forward if you tap your card on the exit, saved me queuing. The M&S upgrade is lovely. Spacious shopping centre for walking through
I use to love liffey valley for nipping into and spending an hour.. but in the last few weeks they have made it paid parking. They also dont cake cash in the paid parking meaning you need a gift card and minimum spend was 10€ or possibly 20€. Ridiculous..
Traffic on the entrance really bad. Charge parking every sigle minutes. Even just park less 15mins. Look like tidy clean than before. But really not convenient. not recommended places.
Stores are excellent BUT centre management have now chosen to implement car parking fees for ALL including people with disabilities, staff and merchandise staff / suppliers. A failure in waiting ✋️
Lovely shopping centre. Parking is confusing as you have to buy a card. When we went i asked one of the attendants about the parking and he said nothing about the card.when I came to the machine to pay i couldnt without the card.
My least favourite of the big centre’s. Roadworks seems to have been going on for years. Turned me right off. It’s the closest to my home but least likely to go to.
Called in for a quick bite to eat on the way home. Arrived at 9.15pm stayed an hour €2.50 to park and the car park was empty. Scandalous. It must have an impact on the restaurants.
Loads of parking and the spaces are a good size. You now pay for parking and you dont get a ticket as you go in, a camera takes note of your registration and on exiting the car park its reads the reg and you can pay by card at the barrier. Its very handy. The centre was clean and tidy, even the toilets and we were here during a very busy weekend (black Friday). Loads of shops and places to eat and drink. There are loads of seats throughout the centre for a wee rest or for the none shopper 😆.
They have a new traffic plan for their paid parking which is a nightmare as they have all the traffic directed towards one entrance. Compared to other big shopping centres it the poor cousin. It has a lot of big shops but it’s not a comfortable shopping experience with a narrow concourse.
Liffey Valley Shopping centre is excellent. plenty of parking. clean, safe, warm, friendly. Perfect for shoppers of all ages.
Its always been a reasonable shopping centre which I would visit semi regularly, but since the recent introduction of parking charges they have ensured I will never visit again. They are just driving their customers to use alternatives such as Blanchardstown or to online retailers instead.
Liffey Valley is local tome and tho I might be biased cause I work in the centre i do feel the centre has lost its way with the introduction of parking and the lack of ease with it. Ticketless and cashless isnt the easiest system its made out to be and its a nightmare for those to try to use. If they had installed cash machines it would help with some of the issues.Overall its a well maintained centre but could do more seasonal entertainment like what The Square or Blanchardstown does.
Ye wouldnt want to be short of cash here doing some shopping. Wouldnt recommend if you have medium budgets for clothes ect. Also carpark is not free anymore and has to paid with card only if not you will have to purchase a 10euro gift card to get out. Not good not thinking of everyone.
I have been visiting Liffey Valley since it first opened. I love the eateries and the variety of shops. I am not overly impressed with the pay for Parking. I have a parking permit which gives me free parking in car parks with the exception of up and down barriers where I have to pay for Parking. I am disabled and find it beyond frustrating that the disabled toilets are always locked. I would have to ring and get someone to come and open the disabled toilet for me which is a problem as I cannot stand for any length of time it simply does not work from my perspective.
Disgraceful new parking charges in this shopping centre. Machines so slow they cause queues to get out. But mostly disgraceful that staff now have to pay for parking reducing their annual income by approx €600. Greed of owners is unacceptable. As a customer I will not return until staff parking charges are abolished!
For me the cinema is the best thing about Liffey valley. Unfortunately its nearly always packed and I dont agree with paying for parking when going to spend money in there. Having said that, you can get your parking free if going to the cinema.
What a disaster! Ladies toilets - wash hands and walk to find a hand dryer dripping water on floor! Car parking pay system also a disaster- machine situated outside door blocking people entering and exiting- machine too sensitive to enter your car registration- gave up as too many people queueing- got to exit- took ages to accept my card- not sure I will ever come back!
They now charge for parking took me 20 mins to find machine to pay, and 5 mins trying to add my reg number on display. Then had to queue to get out of carpark thru the barrier. Hopefully they improve the system, otherwise OK shopping centre with cinema and good selection of restaurants
I used to like Liffey valley in the early days when it was large, spacious and with plenty of space to PARK!!! It has got progressively worse and is in no way worth taking a visit to for the sheer hassle of dealing with never ending road works, carpark upgrades etc.
Its picking up again after Ronapocalypse. TK Maxx is a favourite. M&S is great for some quality and the food court is better than most (no, really. Do yourself a favour and skip Mc donalds for once and try the gormet burger joint, or my fav the burrito place).I hope they get there act together and build paths between the other Liffey Valley shopping centre. At the moment you gotta walk on a busy road to cross over to where Halfords and Argos etc are. Tesco is now accessible though, so fingers crossed thats in the pipe line... maybe some of that sweet parking money could be diverted to make it accessible. Im on crutches and its very difficult. Cant imagine trying to negotiate in a wheel chair.I still like the experience of the main centre though...
i put 5 stars, now im changed for one star. 2,5€ for 1h parking that is ridiculous. sometimes i stoped there only for a cafe, now its not make sense. If you wants go to cinema you will pay for ticked and parking, where is the sense where is the logic.
Popped in for a few bits of gluten free food in Marks, 2.50 to park for 15 minutes, not again. Plenty of other centres to go toShame on you Liffey Valley owners/management!!!!!
If you like sports shops it will be fine. But no atmosphere and lacking shops. And having to pay for parking now is just terrible. Its more of a food hall then a shopping mall.
Paying for parking is ridiculous. We’re in a cost-of-living crisis as the management of the shopping centre as decided to price gouge. They are making a profit from peoples misery. als, the layout of the car park is inferior, No flow to traffic coming in or out of the centre very poor design
Will never return. Have introduced paid parking and if that wasn’t bad enough the barriers are not working. 5 cars on front of me also had issues. Rang facilities multiple times as I queued as it was obvious the barrier was the issue. They hung up every time. You would think that after 5 cars had issues they’d raise the barrier but no, every car had to be delayed while the insisted on multiple attempts to pay.
Ive decided to stay away from this shopping centre because everytime I go there its too stressful to find a parking spot & now you have to pay for the privilege to park. Also theres loads of security in yellow uniform acting like garda with walkie talkies and sticking there faces in your breathing space acting like garda. Everyone should boycott this place not just the staff.
Parking now is poor value at €2.50. Spaces too narrow to open doors. Typical now as just all profit for landlords and a poor experience for customers. Delayed far too long exiting car park on a Monday at 3pm due to traffic. God help those exiting at weekends and this Xmas!I will going to Blanchardstown shopping centre in future as it’s free and more shops.
The new carpark layout is brutal. Restricted the exit so now takes 10 mins to get out. All while the clock is ticking on your parking. The much talked about bus hub isnt set up yet but theyve gone ahead and intoduced the paid parking anyway. Poor. Probably head to Blanch in the future.
Cant give a super detailed review as I only walked through to get to jump zone and then have food at nandos. But from what I saw in there it looked pretty decent, had a range of different shops in there, a nearby Vue cinema too. Youll more than likely find a shop in there that you need at some point.I would like to go there again to have a good look around. I went on a Sunday and it was pretty busy
I’m a local. Been here many times and great selection of ships. After learning they they have introduced parking charges. AND for their staff too (!!I will never set foot in this place again. Very short sighted policy. Will stick with blanch from now on.
Quite big shopping complex. They have a new updated parking system which is nice. Dining is open till 7 on weekends which is great
1* due to new charges for parking spaces. Ridiculous when there is always ample space available, especially on weekdays. On most days the place looks like an airport runway.Their loss, it will just drive people to other better outlets like Kildare Village
Its awesome place to shop. But only and major disappointment is there is no kids Play area. If you want more families to visit make sure you add free kids play area.
Very big shopping complex. Undergoing major works on the car parks at the moment, which I believe is to facilitate the implementation of parking fees in the near future. My sole purpose for being there was to call to Specsavers so my wife coul pick up new frames for her glasses. The assistant who dealt with her deserves a five star rating. I would not be rushing back to the complex any time soon.
I used to go here once or twice a year, but will not be doing this any longer. If I have to pay for parking, I would rather do it in a much better mall like Dundrum.
Its grand. Could have better selection of shops. Lot of people come here, parking is not amazing and also will be paid for soon. Only reason it gets 4 and not 3 is because COSMO Buffet is here and thats worth the visit alone
Very nice shopping centre with a great choice of dining, like Hudson Rooms, Milano, Zizzi’s, Eddie Rockets. Also, you can find a great cinema showing the newest movies, and a great shopping experience with something for every shopper.
I love to wander shopping around the mall.im supported by my mobility scooter.Thev staff and security are very courtious .I love my trips to Liffey Valley and its surrounding shops too.im keeping 1 star back for those who find walking difficult.there is seating thank God.The lifts to the food hall are great too.🌹🌹🌹
Big size shopping 🛍 centers here you can fiind any sizes and not so busy 😉 😜 you can be more easy to do shopping here and you fiind different brand store 🌏It perfect for me where it not so busy 😀
I visited today; there appeared to be a serious waste water issue in the gents near the M+S store. I reported it to a security guard who went straight away to check it out.It remains to be seen how the changes currently nearing completion in the carparks ( including I presume a ticket and payment system!!will impact on the shopping experience- cant say myself that I agree with the decision to pay for parking at this shopping centre; I would have thought the place was already making plenty of profit!!
Excellent place to bring your family with a good cinema, good stores a bit expensive as everything in Dublin, but it worth it.
One of Dublins most popular malls with a great variety of shops and food outlets. Currently undergoing extensions/ renovations and will only get more popular. A great hangout for the younger generation with cinemas and restaurants, Nandos is recommended for delicious chicken.
If you are a shopaholic, this place is for you. For the same reason, it was quite crowded, always. This place could in-fact be like a day trip. There are a variety of choices for dining, shopping, entertainment and plenty of spots for car park. Even by bus, this place is quite accessible.
Food area is very well equipped and maintained, has a great number of food outlets with great variety to choose from. The shopping mall has an atrium all along the center of it. Plenty of top brand shops. Sit down coffee shops. Fantastic car parking facilities, no charge.
Absolutely stunning shopping centre. Although there is a lot of work going on with regards to the parking areas, there is minimal disruption and still lots of parking. Being very well managed. Great range of shops and restaurants and always a lovely atmosphere. Never disappointed when we visit this shopping centre. Very clean and extremely well Managed.
Best shopping Center in Ireland, Big brands wide fashion collections for all age groups, Food courts unlimited food buffet at cosmos and lemon Grass.Zara, timberland, Boots stores are highlight’s of the stoping Center.
Great place to shop all under one roof. Just remember come early and bring your wallet. Lots of car park.
I really like the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, not just because its giant, but because there is many stores and restaurants that are worth it a visit. Its just a bit tricky to find a parking space specially during the weekend. And also it a bit worse now that there is constriction happening there in the parking area, at least they are improving the space. Just remember that the stores usually closes early.
Lovely shopping cente alot of variety there are lots of lovely shops like clothes shoes jewellery toys home accessories sports art food bakery coffee shops ice creem juice smoothie electronicsThere is hallal food as well ] second floor food court restaurant fast foodAlso jump zone for kids but you have to online boking choo choo train for kids cinema very big parking so many verity in one place
