Laid-back Irish pub with wood panelling and green walls, framed pictures and live music at weekends.
Funny place, nice pint and great entertainment
Live music and fair prices
Lively and entertaining. A charming pub with excellent staff . Great value for money.
Vibrant and friendly. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely go again.
Good atmosphere, good quick service from friendly staff
Brilliant service and ice cold coors, mmm

Great Irish bar with friendly staff and great atmosphere.
Great live music by Joey Shields and the wheels blues band and a proper pint of guinness :)
Well I must say a good day out at this pub only went in with my friends for a pint and ended up staying for 3 hours, ale was cheap and service brill very friendly staff good irish pub would recomend to try it πβπΎπΊ
Brilliant place.Live music and friendly service.
Good beer and vibe with entertainment but does attract some badly behaved gits.
Great gathering place for the local older generation. I was passing by on a monday afternoon, when i heard music and became curious. I stepped in and was rewarded with great entertainment, in old Blackpool style. All gentlements and ladies were well dressed up and i experienced the best caraoke in Liverpool, appart from the Grapes. There was a lovely lively atmosphare..with lots of dancing and singing.
Called in on our pub crawl. Before Christmas. Very good staff service and live music.BUT, I needed the loo. O. M. G. It was digusting. 2 drug addicts were using it to top up a fix. No facility to wash your hands as the one sink was full of vomit and blocked, and the stench was unbearable. I was desperate so had to use it, but never again. At the time we were there it was really quiet so dont know why it wasnt checked, and dont know what its like as it gets busyer. Horrible. I should have reported it Doeee.?
loved this place live music good atmosphere will go back π
Nice quiet pub lovely bar staff make you welcome . Cheap drinks.
If you are middle aged like me, and enjoy good music, Guinness and company, its the place to go
Great pub, good beer ,and entertainment, go most Sundays.
Cracking pub, great live music and great local prices for beer and wine, definitely recommend
Great bar in the center of Liverpool with lively and friendly crowd. Staff is very professional and fast, but my greatest + to this place was a singer who sang everything from Rocky road to Dublin to Time to say goodbye in Italian, with such a profound voice, while making a great jokes in between the songs.
The liffey is meant to be open til 11pm but once again we have been let down by staff who are to quick to lock up so they can go to drink in the celtic corner. Shame on them.
Wonderful Irish bar great music and great atmosphere and cheap beer and good pint!
I had my last half of Guinness in there last week before heading home, I dont usually drink Guinness as I prefer real ale but that half reminded me why I like it, as it had that smoky flavour to it instead of just tasting ordinary, for me its that smoky taste that makes it fantastic! Good barman on too, very friendly :)
one of the most god awful venues. You could smell the polyester. The entertainment was hideous. The pyrotechnics hilarious whomever came up with this requires serious help
Food absolutely excellent. Very pleasant staff. Will recommend to all my friends
Absolutely great place many floors dufferent music food also hotel all in one place staff really freindly .all good
Love this place! Really decent prices for town. Nice selection of beers and rwaaly good bar staff.Nice bouncers working the door. Early finish for some bars in Liverpool, but thats a good thing for me.
Went for a night out for my mum with her dying one of her and many other Irish peoples place to go all the old stories are great about this place just needs modernised abit
Great irish pub, great live music bar staff are loverly would recomend it to all people
Holleooo Im home in the liffey the guinness makes your very happy and the staff are wonderful. Conleth is fabulous on a Sunday night. My favourite barmaids are Emma and Joan. Come on down all welcome
Great place brilliant staff great Guinness had brill night will call again 5*.
Brilliant pub . entertainment every night.Ale is cheaper if you have a loyalty card .Which is worth purchasing from behind the bar isnt only a pound l think. But it makes the ale and spirits a lot cheaper.Enjoy
Thursday nights are great the live music is really entertaining. Good pint of Guinness here too and a friendly crowd. It can get pretty busy so bit more lively later on if youre after just a quiet sit down and talk with a few pints. Had a chat with the acts too lovely people. Pleasant staff too. Look forward to going back.
Great spot for a few pints on a Sunday. Or any day. Staff are very friendly and Liffey Sundays are a must. (If they are still on)
I always enjoy this bar. The atmosphere is always good answer when I went on Saturday there was live entertainment
Great bar to go with plenty of live bands, friendly bar staff and cheap alcohol. Free sandwiches and snacks are brought around to the tables regularly. Would definitely recommend this place
Very empty. Staff and management unfriendly and disrespectful. Does not have same atmosphere it did 5 years ago. New bar management may have painted the outside but they lost the atmosphere and its friendly vibe.
A decent bar, the service is usually good. They have some great live music acts on.
The staff really make this a great place! Its a decent size real boozer. Will always pop in.
Friendly bar. Didnt see any food offered. Price for drinks very good
First class bar. Always call in here when passing through Liverpool on the weekend. Great entertainment, cheap drink and a friendly staff.
Great pub live music, great selection of beers, nice and traditional plus the price is right!!!
Had a brilliant sunday afternoon here so decided to return on the monday night. Place was very empty but the singer was very good. At 10.20 however the manager turned on the full lights, turned off the TV and music and close the shutters and lights to the toilets. We still were drinking. After mentioning this to the manager she said she had to do this when things were quiet. 10.20 was we told her very early to be elbowed out. As we finished our drinks we were made to be as welcome as the flu. This was not what Irish hospitality was meant to be. They were quite happy to be taking our money the day before but in a quiet night they seemed more interested in getting home early and getting rid of customers.
Great place for a drink and entertainment but its a shame doesnt get full
Saw two live acts ,both good , pity they only had john Smiths bitter ,not good for real ale ale drinkers though π
Traditional Irish pub. Best Guinness in Liverpool (my friends saidand its cool when Paul the owner is in the bar to share some nice stories.
Absolutely rubbish. The Elvis impersonator only wanted to sing his own songs. Surely Karaoke is audience participation!!!!
On the positive side the staff were friendly the selection of beer was limited however. The bar does need to updated with much of the chairs, tables and toilet in a poor state.
