Impressive building

A very beautiful place with many things to do and you can find pet friendly restaurants and cafes but you better call first because some of them will not accept pets even if in google you read that they do.

Absolutely outstanding building in the heart of Liberec oldtown. For me it was definitely highlight of my trip to this interesting city. Neighborhood is also charming - beautiful tenement houses, historic monuments, a lot of restaurants and cafés. I regret that I didnt have more time to admire every nook and cranny of this unique city hall.

This town hall is actually inspired by the Vienna Town hall, and its great piece of architecture. It also shows the rich past of the city, which used to be a kind of capital of German community in Bohemia before 2nd world war.

Its beautiful. If you get lost you can follow the peak of this monumental building.

Very beautiful small town. It use to be rich German town so most of the architecture is actually German. The town in the past had huge textile businesses when was German.

Very nice attraction and photogenic. Located right in the centre of the town. You can leave a car in the Shopping Centre just a few meters from this place. There is also nice Square surrounding the Town Hall.

Amazing Town Hall from the end of XIX century. What is interesting, it took five years to build this complicated structure and it replaced the one from the end of XVI century (constructed for more than 40 years). It is one of the most beautiful town halls I have seen and it looks impressive during the day as well as at night. The surrounding market hides many interesting restaurants and cafes worth visiting.

What an exclusive place to have your beer and food. It is a temple of gastro-pleasures.

Was very pretty but whole plaza had been taken over for a movie set and you could not go inside.

Interesting building, nice neo-romantic style details, worth visiting. Your can book the guided tour by the nearby located tourist office. It will take your to the very nice decorated ceremonyhall and to the top for a view over citycenter and the market.

Beautiful architecture that incredibly photographic and rich in history. The Town Hall hides the Ratskeller Reichenberg - A pub that serves fantastic fresh beer direct from the brarrel and tap and food that simply delicious, well made and of good value.

Unlike Prague, Liberec is not a city with a reputation for sublime architecture and has only a smattering of outstanding buildings. But climb up the atmospheric Ul Prazska to the city’s main square, Benesovo namesti and you will immediately feel yourself miniaturized in front of such a grand and imposing building.The stately building in front of you is neither a majestic cathedral nor a royal palace of old. It is the city’s Town Hall, a monumental lofty edifice that dominates one side of this impressive square. Sit at one of the several cafes that surround the square and admire the magnificent architecture of this outstanding monument.The symmetrical lines of the facade, so elegant and appealing impart to the building an air of finery; the pencil-thin colonnaded twin side towers constitute a delicate example of neo-Renaissance architecture while the more robust middle tower with three balustraded viewing platforms and a clock completes the picture.The city’s tourist office occupies a room within the building and so you’ll probably end up inside to ask for information. But, if possible, try to be here on a Saturday afternoon when the Town Hall becomes the venue where newly-weds sign the marriage documents and later pose for photographs outside.

I was only in the restaurant in the basement and I was very happy with the food, beer and service.
