In an art deco-inspired building with a tropical garden, this simple hotel is 1 mile from the Bass Museum of Art and 2 miles from shops at Lincoln Road mall. All rooms include en suite bathrooms with showers, and have free Wi-Fi, TVs, and desks. Kids 17 and under stay free with a paying adult.Dining options include a steakhouse, a cafe and a poolside bar and grill. Other amenities include an outdoor pool with beach access, plus a business center and meeting rooms. Parking is available for a fee.
The rooms are very old and have like a musky feel. I prepaid for the room which charged taxes and fees and when I arrived to the hotel they decided to want to charge me another fee out of nowhere. Parking to the hotel is not included and and one must be ready to pay another $40 for parking. When one gets there, theres a possibility that the parking will be full and one must park in another property which is not part of the hotel for another $40. No ramp for wheelchairs or baby strollers. One must go up the stairs to go into the lobby, so if one has a disability or a stroller be ready to carry it up the stairs
Wow, a lot to say about this hotel. We took a cart into our room and didn’t think about getting it back to you the main lobby ( our faultbut they knocked 2 times and didn’t give me a chance to even cover up after my shower and used their key card to walk in, while I was laying in my bed. Invasion of privacy is real here. I walked down to speak with the front desk and saw they had more than enough carts. They tried to give me a free night for compensation, we did not take it because we wanted to get out of this hotel.Good for a budget hotel but would not come back.
I booked 2 rooms at this Lexington Hotel Miami Beach. It was my daughter’s birthday, we were a group of friends of my daughter and 2 moms.I will never recommend anyone to stay here! The man at the front desk is so rude like everyone else.Housekeepers came into our rooms without our permission. Shortage of towels and toiletries. Rooms were dark not enough lights.Stole my daughter’s expensive shoes and many clothing articles are missing. I complained about the shoes missing from our room. I called and complained at the front desk. He said call the corporate office and police … I don’t care.( I did make a complaint with Miami police)Now I check my Visa bill.. They charged me double for the rooms! I booked my room with a travel agent in Atlanta. They charged me double for the same nights,! I only booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. Now I am going call visa complaint for fraud. They are a bunch of crooks at this hotel.Absolute disaster!
This was an exceptional find. We loved the room. The staff was able to clean around my service dog. The room cleaner received a generous tip from me because of her willingness to do this. The hotel is in the paid and free buss/trolley system. We used the trolley to get around. It was also pretty good UBER location. This hotel was on the beach. Your stay came with a wristband that got 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella on the beach. You also could ask for beach towels at the front desk. SO says the location is 8/5.
Right on beach. Pool is a good size. Bar next to the pool is nice. Rooms are decent size, bathrooms are small. Looks like some floors are renovated and some aren’t. Good price if you don’t mind a little outdated, not the most up to date hotel. Easy Uber ride to and from South Beach/Airport
So . . Its a great affordable rate. The rooms are motel level. It was a solid okay.not dirty but not exactly clean. The location is fantastic.Make sure everything is sorted Before you get there. Call them ahead of time.
Stylish hotel right on the beach whose 2 stars hide many other stars. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception, large and clean rooms with a large wardrobe, quality equipment and a comfortable bed surpass the hotels with higher rankings. The price included sunbeds on the beach or we were very pleasantly surprised. At best, we will also mention the pool bar and cheerful bartenders. The Lexington Hotel is a big surprise given expectations. Thank you for all the care from the reception, through the bar, restaurant to housekeeping. Good job!
Great price compared to other hotels in the area. It was clean and comfortable with all amenities needed. The only thing I didn’t like was that the cleaning ladies were very loud every morning I was there, they literally woke me up with their gossiping. If they can be more considerate of people who are sleeping that would be great.
This hotel us affiliated with the holiday in! This hotel is disgusting they have people staff members walk in on you in your room. Pretend that they called when there was an issue I was forced to walk to the holiday in to speak with management they are TRASH!!!! they didnt even apologize about the walk in on me! This is a sad establishment and the restaurant on the lower lobby level provided my mother and I RAW RICE! I do not recommend staying here or at the holiday Inn spend your hard earned money and vacation at another place!
Great location right on the beach and Boardwalk. The room was very small, but did the job. The shower had a small piece of glass instead of a curtain, so we had to shower with the water very low. Tried our hardest not to make a mess with the water. Didnt like that. The drain in the shower was clogged with hair. The restaurant downstairs had a buffet style breakfast, but was over $20 per person. Parking was across the street and about 35 a day. Had to call the hotel for them to open the gate. Sometimes they wouldnt answer. Sounds like Im complaining, but honestly it wasnt that bad. The cleaning lady was very friendly and helpful. They gave you beach towels when you needed. They also had chairs on the beach for you to use.
My experience with this hotel was great! I was skeptical at first due to all the bad reviews, but I am so glad I decided to give it a try. The room was very clean and comfy. The pool was nice with a bar and access to the beach. The Hotel has a section on the beach with beach chairs which was awesome! For a budgeted hotel it was great. I would definitely go back😊
When we first entered the building we were excited. The lobby looked amazing!....and then the rest of it went to hell. Our room was infested with cockroaches (we have pictures and videosand all that management did was move us to a room one floor down right below the same room. We lost our ocean view that we paid for, housekeeping never came, we were told there were complimentary waters in the room daily which we received only once, and staff was not friendly at all after we informed them of the roaches (besides the woman at the bar by the pool). We stay at a lot of hotels and we can tolerate a lot....however, this has been our worst stay! We were highly uncomfortable the entire time but we were forced to stay due to no other rooms at other hotels and loss of money spent for this one!
The pictures for the hotel were absolutely deceiving! Spend the extra money and stay anywhere else but here!! The moment I walked into my room, I knew I was going to regret my choice. The bathrooms are horrible, the toilet is basically those public washrooms that has a metal flush - I’ve never seen those in a hotel room. The bathtub had rust and the paint was peeling. The carpet was dirty and smelled - you can tell these don’t get cleaned.Paid extra for a beach view and I got a bit of the beach view but the windows were so filthy, I didn’t even want to look outside the window. The streak marks on the window was so visible that it’s not even worth paying extra for the view. They location is good as the back of the hotel is directly on a boardwalk and the beach was only a few steps away. The hotel gives you wristbands to get a beach chair and umbrella but you can only get 2 chairs per room, even if you’re 4 people staying to a room paying all these resort fees and whatnot.I feel as if this location is good if you’re here to lounge and be with family, but if you’re looking to party and mingle, definitely stay in South Beach.
DIRTY AND OLD! The pictures online and the lobby were deceiving. I am not one to stay at expensive fancy hotels. I really expected this to be better than a holiday inn or best western. Absolutely was not. The pool bartender was rude. The wristband for the beach chair and umbrella was useless because they wouldn’t even put umbrellas out because of the wind even though everyone else on the beach had umbrellas. I posted pics to show we had to pay $45 from the neighbor to rent their chair and umbrellas. The hotel chairs are blue- no umbrella in that picture. You can’t flush the toilet if anyone is in the shower because it makes the water temp change dramatically. The walls are paper thin. You can’t do laundry in the evening and it’s outside and around the back. The beds are small. The decor looks like it’s from the 70s. I am so disappointed in our stay. I don’t recommend staying here. Pay the extra money and stay somewhere better. Or even go ahead and stay a few blocks inland. I have so many pictures I will post of the stained walls, dust on the walls, weird pillar in the bathroom blocking half the tub, wallpaper pealing off the wall, rust and stain around the vent, the dirt and grime all over the door, the carpet cut back too far and the dirt piled up in the crack, the faucet in the bathtub from the 70s. The mildew and stains in the bathroom. The list goes on and on. I had to use my inhaler because of the dust and who knows what else I was breathing through the night.
