Lewis and Clark Bridge - Bridge in Longview, United States
Considering the vintage of the bridge and the high volume of traffic, the bridge gets the job done. It is one of only a few bridges across the Columbia River between Washington and Oregon. It really could benefit from a second two-lane bridge next to it.
Its a blast riding over this bridge just at the right hours of light.. makes for great photos!! ๐
Old beautiful bridge with a great view crossing
Beautiful day beautiful views. Just be careful not to lose your grip on life, I mean the wheel.
Amazing bridge really but its very narrow and many times there is a bike or pedestrian on the side. If you know this bridge you know there is really no space on either side for anything and often that area is littlered with wood and large chunks of bark. I think its time for a pedestrian/bike path.
I hate bridges. I have always had a fear of them.
Ive driven over this bridge for many years! Always in awe of what it must have been like when it was built!
Beautiful views across this bridge.
This bridge has a rich history, that is research Worthy

Its a bridge that brings you into town.. Well built
Nice view. I always know Im not far from home when i see, or come across, this bridge. Brings back a lot if memories also
Gets you there
I dont really like bridges, but all there is to see while crossing Im a bit distracted.
a great bridge that connects Oregon and Washington together
Cool bridge, great views!
The Lewis and Clark Bridge from Longview, over the Columbia River, and connecting with US 30 in Oregon mounts up high over the shipping lane on the River. Like the Astoria Bridge, they built this one so tall, that cargo ships could easily pass under. Much better than a draw bridge! This one is only two lanes wide, however. On the Oregon side there is a viewpoint to look back at the bridge and the scenic setting.
What can I say? You drive over ot.
It needs work
Love the view from the top of the bridge
A nice scenic route. Be sure to bring a camera to capture the landscape!
Connecting two states, beautiful bridge
Beautiful
Bridges are pretty cool.
If youre in Longview and you want to leave, the most direct and efficient route is the Lewis and Clark Bridge to Oregon.
I ordered unlimited salad bar and they didnt restock half of the stuff in the salad bar until I was done eating. I told them 3 times and I finally had to get rude to get them to do it.
I never had such a great time that far off the ground and then as soon as it began it was over
Almost always some kind of delay
No tolls on this bridge, lets keep it that way.
An imposing structure. A spiral to get you from the town to the bridge deck. Near the mouth of the river, at the Pacific. Good views of commercial and recreational traffic. The north shore is listed as a "Tsumni Hazard Zone."
Rickety and slow
Its a bridge! It goes over water...can you believe it!!!!
Nice view ๐
riding in a car or truck you can get great view of port of longview & rainier,Oregon
Love Hate relationship
Its a bridge I got over it
Good
Its a bridge that connects oregon to longview washington
Very nice vintage bridge. 4 rather than 5 stars because of the SNAFU with its painting and upgrades the last few years... Hopefully over for awhile.
Love the structural engineeringโ
Only way to get across over that way but watch out for the road paving after 7pm
It is a bridge that crosses into Washington, from my personal experience it is so high! It felt bewildering.
Beautiful bridge crossing the Columbia River. Great views from up top but dont get distracted and watch where you going. Bridge is narrow.
The views are amazing.
Bridge is heavily used and backs up easily.
Very cool bridge with a lot of history behind it!
Awesome place to cross into Oregon. Bridge is high and great views, particularly when a high pressure weather system sets in. Watch out for rush hour and holidays. Traffic system can clog right up taxing you up to an extra 30 min to cross.
Watch out for the huge pothole on the oregon end of the bridge going into oregon. HOLY CRAP ITS HUGE!
Keeps ya dry but suffers from frequent backups.
