MoreSwim here every yr. No dogs pls!! Leash only park and way to busy for dogs and boom boxes. There are other places for that, like Condensary bridge-up the river a bit on Anderton Ave or Anderton and 1st (trail head to watering hole good for dogs)

Nice but to many homeless people in the park I like that they opened the bathrooms at least now when you step in poo you know its not human..
MorePark is in great shape, my kid had fun on the toys and in the spray area. A raccoon stopped by to check on us too!

Meh. Good for food trucks on a sunny day and sit in the park. Big field for frisbee, lounging in the sun, etc.Bathrooms are...not very great.

MoreThere was alot of homeless people hanging out there. They were very polite. But you do feel a little nervous with them. There was also a couple of drug dealers hanging out as well.

Fun big park with lots to do here. Baseball tennis volleyball skateboard park water park jungle gym swings frisbee swimming in the river or at the outdoor pool the rec centre has even more to do inside. Come check it out come watch some baseball and enjoy the outdoors there is so much to do. There is also sims park connected for some walking trails.
MoreNice place to take a walk.Water is River water, glacier fed and cold but, the older teens like it.I suggest you be a strong swimmer if you venture down the tire tube trail down the river.Very popular in the hot months, May,June,July and August, even into September on the hot days.A lot of times , the weather is still great up to Octobers end.

Do you like parks by a slow moving river? If yes you will love this place. Also theres a baseball pitch, tennis courts, and often during the summer some sort of local food truck. Lewis is a happening place to be for many people during the fair weather days.

MoreSuch a lovely place to have a long long walk in autumn, lots of colors, lots if leaves, looks like a magical colorful little forest specially the other side if the bridge( there is a small path beneath the street)If you are in the area , visit the place if you love fall colors 🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂there is no parking lots problem here so you can easily park and start the nice walkeven the parking lot is naturally beautiful :)
MoreA great place to connect with your community or meet new people. Lots of great events through the nice weather months. Good bands including those originating from Comox Valley. This is "Time Well Wasted" - they really had the crowd dancing on the grass. Fun times to be had!
MoreBeautiful place to walk! Lots of trails with many trees that have birds singing in them. A big gazebo for out side concerts or places to sit for shelter. Lots manicured grass with trees here and there for gatherings... Love it! 🌞

MoreNice big part for the kids to run and play. Has a few baseball diamonds horseshoe pits tennis courts. And even skate park. Its also plays for swimming in the river. Usually has a food truck close by which is nice.
