Lewa Marathon, should be one to try in your life time!! Provided amenities, camp sites with lots of water points and mobile toilets. Stay the night, do a game drive and a beautiful sundowner. The weather is super hot during the day and at night it can drop to 14 and windy. Lots of gravy zebras, buffalos, Elles and Rhinos. You get more than just a ran!!

Amazing place to visit and get the experience of the wild and nature.
The best place to be
Incredible experience! The guides are very knowledgeable. The place itself prides to be sustainable and they’re doing a good job at it. Attention to details in the rooms is impressive. And the food — amazing!!! 💯💯💯
Lewa is a true place of beauty. It was a quick visit, but we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery and all of the animals and birds. You can relax and forget about life whilst visiting Lewa
A conservancy worthy visiting.A get away from the hustle and bustle of urban life.Relaxing and tranquil. Excellent human touch. You wont regret it.Wildlife galore, from the king of the jungle to the huge elephant and slender gazelles.
Did a drive through and was rewarded with some elephants, giraffes, zebras just to mention a few.
If its relaxation you want then this the best place. Plus alot of wildlife to seen
The lewa has a very great landscape with the very best wildlife. It has a very fantastic view of William hill especially at the lewa house main house....the experience at lewa is great and fantastic and you will meet up your dream about wildlife and get to see the lewa projects in the aid of helping the sorrounding communities.
Very nice place.. serenity at its best. Wild animals grazing peacefully.. Rangers doing a great job taking care of these animals.
Awesome place to be especially for nature lovers.
This conservancy is beyond stunnig. The work theyve done to preserve the animal kingdom , specially elephants and rhinos, is amazing. 5 years poaching free. Bravo! Last year theyblostb2 rhinos, sadly. But multiple births of all animals are now an excellent sign! Thank you for caring for them! #Donate
Spend the next couple of days of your Kenya vacation exploring the Lewa region, which is a stronghold for the highly endangered black rhino in Kenya. The conservancy intimately connected with the local tribes uses much of the profit raised in community and conservation projects. Traverse the conservancy in open game vehicles and spot the myriad of species that live in the area. Watch for baby rhinos hiding beneath their mother’s belly. Look for lions being chased by angry buffalo and hiding up a tree to try to escape after a failed attempted hunt.Encounter animals from a different perspective while on a guided walk in the company of an expert guide. This is also a great opportunity to see some of the 350 species of birds, which occur in the region. Lewa is a fascinating, game rich area with never a dull moment and with knowledgeable guides that know where to find all the action, it lends to a superb safari start.
Beautiful cottages, fresh home grown food, lovely management, rhino sitings and Daniel, the best guide of our trip!
Lewa Conservancy is a great place to visit alone, with family or friends. For someone looking for some to think something over or relax, this is definetly the place.
Lovely place. Game drive around is a perfect idea to enjoy the scenery
It is simply breathtaking..... a safari place to be

Wonderful experience in this reserve. Far away from the tourist highways. Lodges there are exceptional and the guides are amongst the best.
Lewa Wildlife🐘🐆 Conservancy 🌲is Located in Kenya within Samburu County. 🐘🐆🌲The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy (also known as Lewa Downs It is a wildlife sanctuary incorporating the Ngare Ndare Forest and covering over 62,000 acres (250 km2). The Conservancy is home to a wide variety of wildlife including the rare and endangered black rhinos, Grevys zebras and sitatungas. It also includes the big five (lion, leopards, elephants, rhinos and Cape buffaloes). The Lewa Marathon is an annual fund raising event held at Lewa Downs, about 140 miles north of Nairobi, Kenya. The 42.195-kilometre endurance race is sponsored by Safaricom in partnership with the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in order to raise funds for numerous community development and wildlife conservation efforts. 🐘
Most amazing safari experience! There are about 180 rhinos on the property and no shortage of anything else you’d want to see. We saw all of the big 5 on our first day or two. We’ll definitely be going back some day –
This is not a holiday, this is an experience of a life time. You are very likely to see the big 5 you might have to work a bit for a Leopard, but dont get distracted by the big 5, notice the Birds, the dug beetles, look out for the little 5 and the ugly 5.The organisation is wonderful, the guides are first class, the People are great, the horses are beautiful, Lodge is wonderful, they work closely with the local people, you can help support there education for the kids for a small amount of money.Probably the best holiday of my life.
Great place for a drive, the scenery is amazing
Great wildlife and the only conservancy with both black and white rhinos in the wild.
Beautiful camp, set amongst the animals. Wonderful room, food and service, along with a great guide, Mischek.
As wild as wild can be. Good camping sites, there is wildlife, off the city if you want to get away, good for off-road driving if you are into that and have got the right car. Just fun.
We had a great time running the 2018 Safaricom Marathon on the Lewa Conservancy. The organization of the event was great, and the landscape of the property was breathtaking. Such an amazing place for a race! Definitely something to add to your bucket list!
The place is beautiful. Cold at night & early morning then warm/ hot during the day. The marathon was group at
Superb! Felt like a tourist in my own country. The rangers and conservatives were really nice and informative. We learnt of the schools and communities they support. We also got to get close to the rhinos, bellies and saw dik-dik, waterbucks and ostriches. Lewa is an example of how communities can live in peace with wildlife.
