Leroy Cafe in Debrecen

Heard about Leroy Cafe from a friend so we decided to go for ourselves and gain the experience. The waiter we had was super friendly and did an excellent job at explaining what we would be getting from our order. The wait time was about 10 minutes and the food came with excellent presentation. The spare ribs were amazing! Well seasoned and cooked thoroughly. The total came up to about 10,000 ft for two people which isn’t bad considering the portions were large.

Nice restaurant with good service even on busy lunch time. The daily menu is enough for a lunch dish. If you choose from a la carte the portions are quite big, be prepared...

It’s kind of a fusion restaurant with delicious dishes at a convenient location right in the FORUM shopping mall. The staffs are also pretty friendly :)

First we tried to call them to book a table but the girl answered the phone does not understand brittish english... no problem we went there. The reastaurant was almost empty and there were 2 waiters: one (tallerpretended not to see us, other (smaller came to us but was a bit arrogant and smelled like no shower for days. The patio was full of insects... so this place is a “Never again!” Shame.

Nice cafe/restaurant and great friendly staff. I really liked thier Terrece, cozy and warm. Food was okay, however thier mashed potatoes is SMASHING it so delicious creamy and light at the same time. They do have quite good variation of free alcohol smoothies, I tried tropical one and I loved it.

The place is fenomenal, nice interior, outside terrace, good food and cocktails and above all incredibly helpful, professional and friendly service. Been visiting once or twice a year, but its always a very positive experience.

Me and my team from the company ate here before a business event.We found the place and especially the meals totally amazing! In this place prices are high but you do get the best quality and huge quantity in return (most main courses are enough for two). The staff is polite and kind and the place itself is sparkling clean.I highly recommend you this place if you want enjoy some of the best meals and most professional servings in Debrecen.

This is a very modern restaurant in the center of Debrecen with many cafes/bars and shops around. We ate lunch there. The card is also in English plus the waiters speak English well. Its quite hard to choose from the card because there are so many dishes. Altogether it tasted good but the meat could have been a bit more juicy.

I’ve eaten at Leroy’s frequently since it opened and usually been satisfied with the food. But not this time. Not only was the food so over cooked and dry I couldn’t eat it but the waiter actually told me I was wrong and a tuna steak HAS to be this over cooked and dry. I apparently have no taste buds according to the waiter and no attempt was made to replace the food or even an apology which in my case would have been enough.I will NEVER visit this restaurant again. Such a disappointment from a restaurant I used to be a regular at.

The food is great. Service is usually good but there are some rude waiters. Order the steaks or one of the pasta dishes and you wont regret it!

Service and food were good but over priced. I understand that beef here in Hungary is expensive but its almost USA prices. In any case, the service was good (it wasnt busy). Our waiter was patient and recommend a few items from the menu. The steaks were cooked well but a little bit on the rare side. The sides were clearly reheated because the vegetables were very soft and my fries were like warm. If you are craving some beef protein I would come here again. But if not, I would stay away.
