Great little local speakeasy with friendly staff, wonderful craft beer selection and excellent cocktails. Friendly folks and a must visit

Ive visited twice while traveling in Montgomery and have had a great time. The atmosphere is very chill and the bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. The whiskey selection is great, too. I visit Montgomery often and plan on making this a regular stop when I do.

First time visiting here and it was a pretty good laid back place. The only reason for not giving 5⭐️ the dirty martini was horrible but that can be easily resolved, next time I’ll just try a different drink.

What a great place to grab a beer, ale or sour! The ONLY reason for 4 stars is that it is treated as the forgotten step child because it is a "stop" while waiting for the restaurant across the street on the backside! Very Very pressed with the venue and knowledge of the brews. Its time for Leroys to stand tall!!!

Vibe is awesome, drinks are great, bartender was kind and knowledgeable, had a great conversation! Never expected to be in Alabama but I’m glad I found this gem!

I would avoid this place at all possible costs. The bartenders were all into my girlfriend, charging her $15 for a drink after she was already drunk and had no business being served. When I showed up, they still tried to serve her drinks, and tried to push me away.

Great drinks. Very laid back atmosphere. Diverse, welcoming vibe. Great playlist. One of my fav spots. Right in town but the location gives you an off-the-beaten-path type of feel. Happy I found this spot

Leroy is awesome! They have a VAST array of beers & cocktails & their staff is extremely knowledgeable about all of their selections. Very cozy atmosphere as well!

Our nephew and his new bride had reserved this place for a get together after the reception. The place was really nice, and the bartenders were very attentive. We found it funny that they signs outside mentioned keeping the volume down in consideration of their neighbors, yet the music was so loud it made it hard to talk even outside. But, that is how bars are, so...

Friendly bartender and quaint, small space. I came on a Sunday evening after visiting the peace and justice memorial to decompress and process over a cocktail. Over the next hour, several people and the bartender called everyone by name :-good cocktails too

Best bar in Montgomery! I make it a point to go every time Im in town. The beer selection is unmatched, staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Super chill atmosphere, cant say enough good things about it!

Best bar in Montgomery, awesome bartenders. Enjoy a large selection of draft beers along with an array of bottled beers. The best Old Fashioned you can get in the area. When you are hungry head down the alley to El Rey.

This is hands down my favorite bar in Montgomery. Its a great place to grab a drink in an extremely chill atmosphere. And if you like beer, this place is definitely hoppin. ;There are always 10+ draft beers offered and new selections are brought in every couple weeks. The service is always incredible. Oh and get a cheese board, you wont regret it.

Leroys is a cool venue tucked away behind the Capri theater. Casual and intellectual cloud. Narrow with long bath. Fantastic hand mixed drinks and a massive beer offering!

This place has an awesome beer selection, great hand-crafted cocktails, and a nice vibe. They have a small bar-bites menu that hits the spot if you’re like me and eventually like something to munch on after a few beers. There’s a back patio with string lights too.

There are only a limited number of ways to say Awesome. Cocktail culture lives here. The staff knows what theyre doing, and they love what they do. You just cant do better than that.Oh... when youre standing there wondering where it is, go around to the right. Its at the back of the parking lot on the left.

Best in Montgomery! Cocktails are very well made, the staff really tries to help you if you are not sure what to pick. And then the beers, the most amazing list of Belgian beers I have seen! If you order some food at El Rey, they have no issues with you eating it there.

Excellent drinks and atmosphere. Amazing beer menu. I only give three stars because the bartender made a scene in front a a crowded bar that I only tipped 1$ per drink I ordered. Whether you agree with this rate or not, it was unprofessional and uncomfortable for myself and my group, as well as those around me.

I had two beers tonight. One was Sweet Baby Jesus and I do not remember the name of the other one. Both were good. These staff and patrons were really cool. 12/10.

Great drinks and excellent beer selection. The old fashioned was stellar. Beer was great. Atmosphere is divey but welcoming. The Drink Your Destiny is a cool novelty to choose a cocktail if you are unsure. Service is good and the bartender was super friendly and helpful. Be sure to eat at El Reys before or after, or both.

Great drinks, wide variety of craft beers. Bartenders are wonderful & can make anything, and the music is great too. Just be prepared to wait on the weekends because their slammed.

There are no bartenders here they are all true Mixologists! Tabitha and Shannon are the best and can make you anything you want. Beer selection is good too. The patrons and regulars are friendly like the team there.

A great dark bar. Lots of selection of beer and whiskey. They have a nice selection of both fine whiskeys and beer from all over the world. Friendly service and can be packed on the weekends. Come early if you want a good seat or spot. Stop by and enjoy a few drinks of type, if you like whiskey this would be my spot in Montgomery so far.

Small cozy bar with excellent beer menu! Trendy upscale professional crowd. Beers were $9-$11 on average and huge cocktails selection as well.

Are your eyes sensitive to bright lights? Do you like having almost too many options of beers and drinks to chose from? Then this is the place for you! The lighting and atmosphere is cozy, intimate and very laid-back. The beer menu is stupid huge and awesome! What more do you need, you beer snob?!

Cozy neighborhood bar. Good mix of college students, professionals, and retirees - different crowds depending on the time of day. Bar tenders know their stock and the mixed drinks are top notch. One of the best bars in Montgomery.

Awesome selection of craft beers! The beers on tap change every week or so, so youll always have something new to try. Dont ask for a Bud Light, Coors Light, etc as you will likely get a blank stare in return. They do not carry the typical domestic beers, except for PBR.If the seating inside is too crowded for your taste, they have a great outdoor seating area in the back. This is one of my favorite spots to grab a beer and relax outside.

A wide selection of fine craft beers on tap and very friendly and knowledgeable bartenders that really try to find the the right beer to cater to each customers taste. They also have an extensive menu of other cocktails. The atmosphere is perfect for a date or getting away by yourself.

This place is awesome. Its a pretty low-key joint with some awesome beers (on tap and in bottles and a huge liquor selection.The bartenders are quick and friendly, and the venue itself lends a great, chill atmosphere.The music selection is also amazing! Theres nothing wrong with this place.

If youre in Montgomery and you want great craft beer, this is the place. An awesome selection of local, national, and foreign beers on draft. This place holds its own against beer bars in any state, and they are certainly blazing a trail for better beer in Alabama. Also, the atmosphere doesnt get any better. Cozy, old school New Orleans vibe with dimly lit lamps, carved wooden walls and thick red curtains. One of the best places to hang out and enjoy a beer with friends anywhere.

Fantastic little pub... the staff, Jessica and Shannon were great. Solid tunes, delicious (and extensive selection ofbeers, and a wonderfully eclectic atmosphere. Cant ask for much more! Hopefully I travel back to the area soon for round 2.

Great neighborhood bar, very friendly staff and located right next to El Rey Burrito Lounge. It can a little loud at times depending on the crowd, but a definite must for an early afternoon cocktail or after dinner night cap.

New beer bar in Cloverdale. The bar is located behind the Capri Theatre. The bar is small but very unique. They do have a cool outside sitting area on the backside of the bar. The beer selection is top notch for Montgomery. Overall, its a very unique bar for Montgomery and is worth a visit.
