This upscale landscaped resort on a private lake is 12 km from the Pacific War Museum and 16 km from Antonio B. Won Pat International Airport.Accommodations range from rooms with flat-screens, minifridges, and patios or balconies, to colorful 2-bedroom condos that have kitchens. Club quarters offer access to a private lounge with freebies such as breakfast and cocktails. Kids age 11 and under stay at no extra cost with an adult. There are 2 bars, a cafe, and 5 casual restaurants with Italian and Japanese options, plus 4 golf courses, 3 outdoor pools, a tennis center and fishing. Other amenities include a spa, a gym, shops and sports fields.
Havent stayed here, so when i do-ill figure the 5 star.Great large capacity ballroom for all occasions. The banquet staff are awesome.
Love Leo Palace. The guards are professional. The golf course attendants knowledgeable and the course well maintained. If only I can play golf.
No gym!!! :( I understand the hardship of Covid and the strain it put on businesses. That being said, every other hotel gym on island has reopened. I’ve been here almost 2 years and have only been teased with the gym opened for 1 month. Please bring it back!!!!!!!!!!!!!There must be a way with the amount of rent we pay to set up a scanning key card system?
The greens, fairway, and sand traps could use a lot of work but the staff is amazingly friendly.
Golf course is well designed but poorly maintained.
I review hotels on YouTube but wasnt allowed past security into the lobby without a reservation. Not even to have a meal at their restaurant. During these economical times, turning down ANY potential customer is a bad move.
Very sad to see this property was let go to pot. Property needs maintenance and alot of it. Golf course looks like it is getting attention now but the rest of resort is being reclaimed by the jungle. Resturants are ghosts of the past. With COVID winding down, somebody needs to step in and save this resort.
Where to start.... At least the icemachine worked. I will say inside of the main building was quite nice. It is painfully obvious that this was resort was hit hard by a typhoon and covid and as a result most of the campus is abandoned and unkept. Nearly all of the amenities were closed or had very limited hours of operation. Its sad to see someones vision in ruins. The room I had was nice on the inside, no real complaints there. This place would make a great Hollywood movie set for a horror movie.
My boyfriend and I decided to do a staycation and chose a weekend at Leo palace, we were a little bit nervous because of some of the post covid reviews we read but decided to give it a chance, we were very pleased! The rooms were modern, clean and comfy. They stocked the room with nice amenities, pleasantly surprised the bathroom had a bidet and spacious shower and bathtub! The staff was very friendly and accommodating they had a giant pool area. Since it is post covid there were maybe 10 guests total however we wanted seclusion so it was perfect for us. The Italian restaurant in the resort was really good that we ate there twice and the staff there was sweet and accommodating as well. Because of covid and the slow season some of the shops and excursions in the resort are closed however I would definitely love the chance to stay again.
We took the kids to scope out the place. We love that its secluded. We love the idea of having everything in one resort (though the bowling alley, karaoke, nor the bars are open). The pool staff was awesome, however the Italiano restaurant staff was on a different level. Apologitic but unacommodating and not rude but smug. The lobby was nice! The pool area needs some work; a gardener and a pool boy perhaps.
This place is absolutely beautiful... from the drive in and all the way to the towers in the back. Another thing that I thought was great was the security staff. They were definitely doing their jobs!! Kudos!
I am giving Leo Palace 1 star based on my reservation interaction. There is a promotion going on where residents get a discounted rate. I was planning on a small staycation, but it seems that I will be taking my business elsewhere. They require proof of residence by only local ID or Drivers license. I own a house here on Guam. I do not carry a Guam Drivers license due to difficulties associated with getting a new drivers license if I ever go back to the continental US. I stated to the representative that I have a letter from my mayor stating my residence, I also possess a Guam firearms ID, which has my photograph, and personal details on it. So far Ive taken advantage of local deals at Tsubaki Tower (Outstanding hotel BTW), PIC and was thinking about Leo Palace, but now Im not so sure. I understand you might need to confirm residence, but this can be validated in numerous ways. Utility bill, local firearms ID, a mayors letter stating ownership of residence. Thank you for making my decision not to patronize your establishment easy.
Terrible place. Dont stay here. Majority of the amenities are closed or have inconvenient hours. Mini mart is over priced and the one restaurant open is way to expensive for what you get. Rooms are filthy and are covered in mildew. We were playing on the one field not closed and got kicked off for not reserving it. Went to reserve it and couldnt because all fields were closed. Asked if we could play the piano and got permission from a manager to only be told no one can play the piano a few hours later.
Its a getaway paradise on a tropical island of paradise that offers just about everything within the property of the Resort. Golf courses, baseball fields basketball and tennis courts soccer fields swimming pools water slides and so much more. Great rooms Great prices also offer golf villas and condo like rooms.
The Main facility is upscale and very nice. The soccer fields and recreation area are world class. Yet Covid and the impact that it has had on the work force has left it in need of care. Its a shame but no travel requires no service people which in turn leaves no one to do every day maintenance. It will be back as soon as the foolishness is over.
Such a beautiful resort. It has definitely had a large toll taken on it due to covid-19 . Nurse activities pools anything special about a resort has been shut down and most of the facilities are need of repair due to not being used due to covid-19. But I would definitely recommend this resort to anybody who visits the island of Guam
It’s pretty empty cause of covid but overall it’s an absolute beauty of a resort here the rooms are perfect the toilets have bidets plenty of towels it’s beautiful. The land and area is amazing and for sure the best hotel I’ve stayed at.
This is during covid-19, The pools were closed, The convenience store is way overpriced. The golf course is open. I fed the fish in the pond everyday that was one thing I enjoyed a lot. I would recommend using the app "good to go" for food cuz this hotel is in the middle of nowhere.
To call this place a resort is an over statement. Visually this place is stunning from the outside. Nice views of the Guam rolling hills/mountains. The pool area looks very nice and well kept. Those were my positives from my visit. The negatives. The rooms are completely outdated. They all stink like an old moldy basement, everyday I woke up completely congested and miserable. The beds are rigid and hard on the back. The toilet in my room would constantly get stuck in the flushing position, causing my room to flood the first day I was here. The rooms are equipped with a balcony but no furniture for sitting out to watch golfers or just enjoy the outside. If you dont plan on spending much time in your room, this might be the place for you. If you do, id look elsewhere for a place more up to date.
I was extremely impressed with this resort especially since Ive had unpleasant stays in Guam. The stay were attentive and very nice. I had a great time here the only reason I didnt give 5 stars were one day the sheets were dirty after housekeeping had made their rounds.
Rooms are great. However if you get hungry before 1700 or 1800 this is not the place for you. None of the restaurants are open before then. The gym cost $10 which is ridiculous when paying $140+ for your stay. There is a poolside cafe that is never open. Went to the “bar” for dinner and drinks and had to chase a staff member down anytime something was needed. Also the “bar” closes at 9 pm during the week and 11 pm on Friday/Saturday. Even the simulation golf facility is open later than the bar. If you arrive late ensure you get food before you get here as there is nothing open.
The premier hotel tower rooms are 5 star rooms. The front staff personnel were excellent. The restaurants were good. The security guards were very professional. The bowling alley staff were friendly. The Quest tower condo rooms were 2 star rooms. The location, which is off the beaten path, is s great attractor not a detractor. I would love to stay in the premier hotel tower rooms again.
Went bowling here! A much better experience than Central Lanes in Century Plaza, given it is a newer building. Though the building, restroom, and shoes are cleaner, the balls did feel quite greasy and yucky, rather than a clean dry feel. However, its such a great place to go with a group of friends and family.
Dirty room--gross walls and floors! I wore the provided disposable slippers, and by the time I left, they were near black from the floor and my feet.Poorly maintained property, unless youre in the main building. Both pools were unclean with cracked tiles and dirty/broken furniture. For the price, Id expect way more, even for Guam. Given the choice, Id never stay here again, nor recommend it.Staff were friendly, which is the only thing going for it.
My review is solely for the general grounds and the soccer field. I have not personally stayed at Leo Palace in any of their rooms/apartments.The grounds are beautiful. Well kept and beautifully landscaped. There is a 24-hour manned guard station at the entrance. The road to Leo Palace is secluded and does not have street lights. The downside is you need to be careful when driving this road. The upside is that Leo Palace doesnt deal with the hustle and bustle of busier areas - its more quiet and reserved. The soccer field is on point. Its rubberized turf that is well manicured and carefully watched over. This particular field doesnt have designated flood lights, but there are nearby lights that illuminate the general area after dark. There is plenty of parking and there is a covered gazebo patio with multiple tables where you can safely put your things down or host a picnic or group/team event. The patio building has an indoor bathroom area with separate areas for boys and girls.
Not my kind of spot but may be ideal for others. Its like a mini self contained city in a secluded area. Really amazing views and hikes and plenty of amenities like tennis courts and even stadiums. Lots of luster and shine if thats your thing. Like most places in Guam it does have some unkempt aspects, like the dirty buildings and elevators. If you want the exclusive resort experience then this place is for you.
