Very spacious hotel, never expected the amount of space! 2 kids 2 adults and price was very reasonable with breakfast!

The worst Hotel I have stayed at!The Hotel staff were the most arrogant and obnoxious people I have ever come into contact with.Not only were the hotel reception baffled that we needed a second bed for 3 people. We had already paid for it.The Hotel reception then continued to explain that we didnt get thw room we were suppose to recieve because of a faulty ac.They didnt mention this and just put us in another room. Without asking us?The Whole time the woman on reception couldn’t understand why we needed a second bed for 3 people.I will never return to this hotel chain again…

Very friendly staff at check-in and check out. Convenient location next to highway, free parking in front. Room has all amenities you need. However: carpet on the floor is old fashioned and not very hygienic. The airconditioning is loud, but it needed to be on max to get the temperature somewhere in the vicinity of bearable, people smoke near the entrance which is a huge nuisance, the washing basin has a serious crack in room 204. So no five stars.

Overall the hotel, rooms and leisure facilities clean and tidy and hotel staff great! Can’t say the same for the on-site restaurant. Unable to stand or sit at the bar due to covid (understandable). Once seated took order from the table. Took ages to clear plates. Waited ages expecting waiter to come back to check if we would like desserts! Nobody came! Son went to the bar where we weren’t allowed to stand… to be told kitchen now closed!Mentioned to the lady in charge… I will let the waiter know… he comes back and tells us we should go find him if we wanted to order dessert!!!!Two unhappy teenagers at the end of the night and a very frustrated mum.

I would say the good about this hotel is the swimming pool outdoor if its warm. The indoor pool is OK, they also have Sauna.The rooms are simple but nice, they have a good size and the toilets are well build. Breakfast its OK, could be improved with some cakes and sweets, but I noticed they struggle to refill the breakfast and also they dont look that happy when working.The same issue we had upon check out in the morning with the male receptionist on the 19 June, for some reason he could not find the payment we did in the first night for all the rooms and he doubt about us. After showing him the payment ticket he was not even capable to apologise. For another room he didnt want to talk in English, as he mentioned they are in Germany . I guess this isnt acceptable and especially for a business hotel. More professionalism is needed at the reception, receptionists are the face of the hotel.The hotel only serves dinner, there is no lunch.The location is OK, going by car you can easily reach the hotel and is next to the highway.

I thought it was very good, especially the breakfast this morning. I was not so impressed with the evening meal.I thought there could have been better choice, it was a bit overpriced for the quality of food, and the service left a lot to be desired. I had to wait 30 minutes for an icecream. There were 2 swimming pools, an indoor & outdoor one. But the indoor one looked like it had seen better days. I did not use the outdoor one. My room was very good. It could have done with some updating, but overall good, a fridge & coffee machine, which I always look for. The wifi was not too good it kept going off. Altogether pretty good though. I may go back!

Outdoor and indoor pool were good, the room was larger than I expected and I was impressed with the size of it, the fridge in the room was very handy, we also appreciated the free water and tea/coffee in the room, the hotel is a little old-fashioned in terms of its styling but thats not something that bothered us. Its in a good location, just a short walk to the town and there are a variety of restaurants to choose from there. I also went for a 10k run, and it was very enjoyable to run through the fields/forest, very pretty. Only issue was our key cards stopped working twice, both of them, and me and my husband kept them separate, so I can only assumed they had been programmed incorrectly, but this was a minor issue, just more a bit frustrating. The hotel really was very good value. We would stay there again if we were in the area.

The rooms are rather old. No central lighting switch. The bed was not very comfortable. The hair dryer was not working. The staff was very nice and friendly.

The overall experience was a good one with a good price/quality ratio. Friendly staff, clean room/ nice beds/ good shower/ very good breakfast. The evening buffet was unattractive, terrible quality, and massively overpriced. We decided last minute to leave the restaurant and eat elsewhere.

Well managed restaurant with professional personell. Kind and gentle receptionists, room cleaners and waiters. I would definitely stay there again, and would highly recommend it to anyone. Superb service!

The breakfast needs revamping something new and not repetitive all the days. But the options are great to say the least.

Although the hotel may have seen better days, it is still clean, staff is friendly and professional, breakfast is good, and all that matters is still in good shape. Even the indoor pool surprised us in a positive way. The only bummer we experienced was that the restaurant was fully booked on the evening that we arrived, so you might want to make a reservation if youre planning on using it during dinner. On the other hand, we did not have to pre-specify a time for breakfast and there was plenty of space when we arrived there. If you can stay here for a realistic price, Id take the outdated interior for granted. Do mind though that most showers are in a bathtub.

Excellent place to stay in Heidelberg! They are just great with pets and the rooms are big! Our husky enjoyed the surrounding area for walks and sniffing up rabbit boroughs!Dinner was 10/10Looking forward to staying here again.

Excellent hotel and very good location. The only problem for me was the information about the fast charger for electric cars; this information was not correct (online on the website of the provider, which is NOT the hotel). So there were 4 identic plugs which did not fit my car. I had a severe delay finding the right charger nearby and it was very stressful too.

Looking a bit old fashioned now could do with a face lift. Staff unfriendly, going through the motions.Ok for s one night stop over. Good parking facilities, good food.

The Hotel is old but its in good renovation . We just checked in this afternoon and I am in hurry to Pee but when I used to get Inside the Toilette the smell was so very Bad.So my husband go down to the reception area to tell them about the smell . 1hr later because I cannot Hold my call of Natur I checked again the Toilette and still the smell was there. I opened the cover of the Toilette Bowl and I saw that the bowl were not flushed.#DinnerWe are in a group and of course its understood that we will eat in this place where we had an Meeting .The girl said they dont have a table for 13 people because all reserved but they found a solution. Then, by serving and getting the plates was not good.The old girl (cashier,supervisor, Restaurant Manager???Wel, I dont Care!My concern is I just wanna say that she got the plates and served without asking permission like saying EXCUSE ME OR ARE YOU FINISH ??? And being a server of a food You should also be neat and the hairs will tie properly.,its Not that seems you are just in your house. My HUSBAND and I talked and she suddenly inserted her Hand with a Menu between me and my husband and not even saying Sorry. And also I saw by serving a Drinks or foods she should be aware her Jacket is not in the face of the customers.

Really good hotel if you need a place near Waldorf or if you need to go to SAP. Room are clear and big enough, they have a pool and a nice bar outside near the pool. The breakfast is ok but a little bit too expensive

Prices were fluctuating every day during my stay for a week and I came to know about this while I was settling the bills, during checkout.Unlike other Hotels, Leonardo never shares this price fluctuation policy and at the end, they charge a lot. So beware of the hidden charges.

Old style 3* hotel, mostly suited to SAP Walldorf visitors. Nearest town is 20-25 minutes walk, so dinner options are limited to their restaurant/bar. Rooms are spacious, with hot water bath tubs, kettle in room, free internet etc.

Sincerely, take your business elsewhere. It was an unpleasant experience, with extremely hot room, outdated everything and the most uncomfortable bed I have experienced. The food at the restaurant is just indescribable (not in a good way). I was going to stay 2 weeks and decided to cancel the second week because it was just that bad...

Good choice in the Walldorf areaWhoever stayed in a hotel in the Walldorf area during weekdays knows that the prices in that area are completely unreasonable regarding what you get for your money, but thats a general problem caused by SAP and the other companies around.Regardless the low value-for-money ratio, the Leonardo hotel is one of the better choices in Walldorf. The staff is always really great, friendly, helpful and kind. Breakfast, restaurant and bar offer a good quality and if youre lucky enough to get a room in the lobby building, the rooms were fully renovated just recently. For the other buildings, the actual age of the hotel was not as greatly hidden, even though furniture and bathrooms are new and clean as well.For me, its still one of my favorites, just for the fact that most other hotels in SAP walking distance are more impudent regarding what they charge you for their halfway run down hotels.

Overpriced for the quality you get in return. Rooms are spacious and many perks available like a hot water heater for coffee or tea. Other than that is below standard. Dated rooms with broken furniture. Room service is not consistent - something is missing everyday. Even soap they forget to leave on the bathroom. Buffet hot breakfast is horrendous because its cold. Missing cleaning to release filthy tables. Needed to always ask for a cup to have coffee.. Unfortunately, that was an horrible experience.

The staff and facilities in general were good but I did have 4 issues:1. On 2 occasions for Breakfast, I found some of the food bowls were empty and had not been retopped up.2. Again on 2 occasions I found it difficult to find a clean place-set table to eat at - there were several tables that either had not had dirty dishes taken away or had not been re-set with Cutlery etc.3. I borrowed one of the bicycles. I am 188cm tall and the seat was set for someone very short and there was no ability to adjust the seat height. This made for a very uncomfortable ride.4. The safe was faulty in my room. After the checkin staff made 2 attempts to resolve it by replacing batteries, it was deemed that the mechanism was failty and they were going to get someone to repair it the next day but nothing ever happened. It remained faulty my entire stay and I felt compromised from a security perspective. (I did not want to leave my valuables at reception).

Efficient and renovated hotel, pleasant to be when at the SAP HQI appreciate the rooms, the decoration, the staff, the food and the swimming pool.Bathroom could be nicer.Fitness room is very small and equipment very poor. Some machines for fitness and musculation would be highly appreciated.

Have spent thousands of € here over fifteen plus years. Yet when my meeting ended early and I checked out one day early in a day they admitted they were not fully booked, they charged me a cancellation fee and stated their policy to me. Enjoy your policy and cancellation fee. You will never see another Euro cent from me.

You need a car for this location. Great big rooms. I booked through booking.comThey took the full amount of money for the room when i booked it. So i was shocked to be told on check out that that was just a holding amount and itd be refunded in 7 to 10 days. I had to pay for the room twice which made NO sense. I know it was refunded, but surely theres a better method!!

Lovely modern hotel with very friendly staff. The air con was so welcome in 38 degrees and in fact the hotel had plenty to keep us entertained when it was too hot to go out. Would definitely recommend and use this hotel again.Premium Wi-Fi could have been provided free as the basic cut out often and nowadays, why would you not offer decent connectivity.Wonderful stay otherwise.

really enjoyed this hotel with connecting doors with our family of Six! we really got the chance to relax. Large clean rooms with minibar, shower in bath, and two twin beds per room. the indoor pool with sauna was used by all and was made pleasant with the available towels everywhere. The weather was amazing, so we even got to fully enjoy the outdoor pool with poolbar

As i say mostly good to very good.But Im not so happy with the restaurant staff as a wholeRestaurant staff is ignoring until you push, insist for attention. You can be wating very long time until a waiter passes along your table. At dinner also give an expensive white wine (8€ for 10 clas standard to my wife, while i had a a 20cl red wine for only 6€. Reserve wrong table and 1 time forget reservation. There is no system for reservation i can tell. Just a small paper of a tear-off notebook that probably gets lost overnight.Similar experiences in visits before. Some education would help. Take an example from reception staff, i would say.

Great and quiet place. The stuff was very friendly, specialy Deniz from the bar :). Rooms were very clean and also the food was tasty. 15 minutes walk to SAP Education, and also there was a shuttle bus every day to SAP.

Big hotel, very good breakfast with plenty of choice. Bartender and reception personell were all really kind! A++ for all them. Had a nice Paulaner beer (draftwith a smoked salmon dish after a long ride at 9:30pm. Room was spacious and tidy.Indoor pool needs renovation.

Everything is very old.Aluminum joinery is very old - before 1980.Pool and sauna too.This hotel needs total renovation (rooms and everything at the pooland then ask for these prices.At breakfast there are not some of the things that have them in other LEONARDO hotels.

Leonardo hotel exceeded our expectations. Staff was very friendly and helpful (most of them), facilities were good, breakfast was great. We will definitely stay there again

Works fine everytime I am there. Nice and spacious room. The hotel has an American feel about it (as per my observation).The staff has always been courteous and professional.The breakfast is really very good.The only drawback is for the foot passengers, it not so easy to reach the hotel. Specially if you are taking a public transport like the rail.Would have been nice if they would have offered (not asking for freean option for pickup from Weisloch-Walldorf train station. The station could be just simply empty after evenings with no mode of transport visible to take you up to the hotel. It is a good 40-45 mins walk. (Imagine if you are carrying luggage and the weather is not favourable.. This is just a little suggestion.

poor service standards even with a premium room. Food in the restaurant is so slow - orders take more than 30 minutes. Internet is super slow & you need to pay additional 6€ per day for fast internet. Its a pity that such standard facilities are so poor. It seems like the hotel is anyway fully reserved with SAP people that they are careless about providing good service.

Great and comfy hotel, me and family enjoyed the stay at Leonardo. Excellent surroundings, ample parking and alltogether perfect facilities throughout. Worth to mention and a big hifi for the detox drinking water available at the reception 👍🏻☺️...

The hotel provided everything I could ask for and more.From the heated lamp in the bathroom to the shoe shine and ice machines in the hallways, its sometimes the small things that count.The restaurant supplies a great selection of foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner.Possibly a few more draft beers in the bar?I rate most a 9, as there is always room for improvement right? :)Maybe the complimentary water could be kept in the fridge so it is cold for the arrival of the guest.

clean hotel , good staff. But horrible condition of heating system, which puzzled us the whole night ( even after intervention). No flexibility in changing booking. Lack of authority/flexibility of site manager

I enjoyed my stay at your hotel. Particularly, from the moment I arrived, Mr Van Hafften really took care of me during checkin and even advised about the hotel, and area, and later as I needed help with printing /scanning documents urgently. He couldnt have possibly done more or better to make me feel welcome.I loved the drinks at reception, swimming pools, comfortable room and lovely breakfast.I would have liked more towels in the room, and had I had the time I would have asked (had business to attend to). Thank you

Nice hotel, youve got everything you might need in it. The personnel is nice, breakfast was fine. My only complaints are about the parking space, the slots are too tight to park in and be able to open your door without concern afterwards, and the other one is about the room cleaning, they didnt arrange the beds properly, and they left the clothes the way they were left on the bed instead of folding them like most hotels do.

Nice hotel, good service and breakfast. Wi-Fi is tricky though: its free if you only want to read your emails. You want streaming? 6€ per day.

The hotel itself is pretty good with decent rooms and good facilities (mini gym, two pools, etcbut its a little dated and its a little far removed from any of the surrounding towns. If you work for SAP (as I suspect most people staying here do), then its very convenient but Ive done the review from the perspective of a regular person travelling here.

Staff at the reception OK, but poor food, definitely much below the level the hotel pretends to have.I have ordered Wienerschnitzel. I was waiting ONE HOUR and I thing it was finally served to me only because I have asked stuff how long more. The meal which was served to me was absolutely not to eat. Moreover, the meat was raw !My dinning experience at the hotel ended up with apples grabbed from the reception desk. This was the first Schnitzel in this region which I was unable to eat ...

Clean rooms, friendly employees, indoor Swimmingpool and sweatbath are on the big positive site. Two classes WiFi and no weight training devices are on the tiny negative site. Overall I love this Hotel very much and I can also take a walk to SAP instand of using a car.
