Leonardo Hotel Granada in Granada
Description
Great location, nice view from the hotel windows. Near the railway station, attractions within a 30-minute walk. The hotel is still outdated, but for me it is absolutely not important, therefore, I put 5 stars
MoreVery disappointed. Booked to stay in April 2020 .Hotel closed due to covid. No contact. Tried to get refund and refused. No re-booking or voucher offered. Just took our money and refused as said non refundable. Would not even try to book again will go somewhere else
MoreThe person at the front desk wasn t very friendly bedroom was ok and clean
Good position in city near bus stops and taxes. A nice hotel but three star not four by any means. Good clean rooms
MoreWorst thing in this hotel was weak internet. When i say weak internet means, we didnt have internet in our rooms🤦🏻♂️Break fast can be betterHope they improve their weaknesses 🙏🏻Hotel location was good for going to most of touristic places in Granada
MoreHe view is stunning! Close to it is Alhambra. Great place, just must go there. Around Hotel there are a lot of places to eat and have a walk. Shopping mall is quite far, but taxi is very cheap there. ~5 EUR (max.)
MoreThe hotel needs a good re furbishing. In some areas it looks its dirty but its not but worn out. Good location. A basic hotel.
MoreWhile this hotel has a great location - near attractions, the train station, the bullring, etc. - it was our least favorite of four hotels we visited on our tour of Andalusia. The breakfast was nice, but the building and room left a bit to be desired. At first glance, from the lobby, it seemed fine. But as soon as we stepped off the elevator into the hallway, we noticed the dark and dingy hallways, and well-worn carpet. As for the room, it was very bare. Clean (enough), but no decor whatsoever. I realize "fancy" isnt necessary when all you need is a bed and a shower, but it just seemed very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Also, the safe was not electronic - it seemed to use a key (of which we were not provided).
MoreExcellent location, clean "modern" rooms and good price. However, we stayed there in November at it was still warm, so we tried to turn on the air conditioning and it was completely useless; we couldnt sleep. We ended up opening all the windows (so we had noise coming from the outsidein order to be able to sleep. My concern is that if this happened to us in November when its usually chilly... what would happen in August or July when the temperatures are higher than 30 Celsius degrees?
MoreWas awful. Beds uncomfortable. Wifi is located on the first floor even though ALL the rooms are located 11th floor and above. Personal was unable to speak english. And most of the 5 star rewievs on here a literall bots; no pfp like 5 rewievs... Do not go here! ❌🚫📵
MoreAccommodation reasonable hence lack of basic facilities such as non exixtance of refreshments coffee or tea in the room, no iron either. Staff not very friendly and if asked for the manager he is on leave.
MoreThe hotel is well located: very close to the train station and some bus/metro stops. The staff are friendly. The room is very clean and has a really nice view and a balcony. Although the hotel seems aged but the lobby is modern and the room is well facilitated. But the wifi is pretty poor, my iPhone can’t even find it in my room.Generally, it would be nice to stay here again.
MoreHad a very nice stay. Clean rooms. Nice size bathroom. All top floor rooms have a balcony. Two blocks away from train station.
MoreBeds were good, nice bathtub. Interior is of the 90s but well maintained, i liked it.
MoreThe front desk was very helpful on dance reservation. Location is awesome to get around he city with bus. Thumbs up.
MoreAmazing place to stay for few nights also very economic. The staff was very friendly and helpful very not many facilities but you definitely get what you paid for. There’s a €18 parking charge underground so plan well ahead. Overall nice place
MoreNice clean hotel with reasonable prices quite near to the city center. Views are very good if you get a room in the side facing Sierra Nevada. Only downside was that the hallways smelled like cigarette and hotel parking quite expensive: 18 euros.
MoreThe hotel was perfectly located very closely to the train station and within walkable distances to most of the sites including the Alhambra. The room was moderately spacious and clean. The furniture, bedding and room amenities were pretty basic quality ones though. The hotel lobby was clean and tidy. The staff at the reception desk were welcoming and attentive.
MoreAlmost near the university of Granada (our destination), central location to discover the modern Granada (XX century). The room need a refurbished. The bed was fantastic. The wifi is free but it doesnt work properly.
MorePro: Clean and comfortable place. Spacious bathhroom. Good value for money.Cons: It would be really nice to have a kettle for some tea in the room.
MoreNice spacious room. Delicious breakfast spread. Great location. Warm and helpful staff. Only downside is weak wifi and have to keep logging in.
MoreInternet are awful, rooms key broke 2 times for 2 days. There are 2 available power sockets for the room. But hotel has good location.
MoreI was in a rush to find an accomodation, but I should have spent 10 minutes more to avoid this hotel. Its a old hotel with old tehcnology, parking was not included in the price and very expensive. Its a shame they use the name of worlds most famous inventor, regarding technology quality its a disgrace to Leonardo da Vinci. Their garage is very sad place and have no elevator access.Breakfast was not included and the price made me have breakfast outside.Wifi only function 5 minutes and despite several complains there was no big interest from hotel to solve the issue. When I was contacted about it the clock had passed midnight.Bad smell from integrated air condition which must be very contaminated. My bed reminded me of sleeping on a floor. One visit, never more. There are better accommodation in 5 or 10 minutes distance from this hotel.
MoreThe only thing positive is the pleasent exterior and interior. Also just two of the concierges. They reply to reviews to show the care and have noted issue for improvement but every issue we had has been noted before and still no improvement. The charging does not work at night probably switch off or put low voltage. Told the concierge, their electrician will sort out but this was a lie.The house keeping did somethings some day and left out other such as bedding and cleaning. The concierges except two were miserable and unwelcoming. The beds were uncomfortable. They have menus in room but their is no room service.
MoreNot bad. Could be better specially some of the staff at the front desk. Big rooms with great views if you stay at the 15th floor. Good breakfast.
MoreWiFi less than acceptable; except for CNN no other English stations; tv reception poor on some channels which I reported two months earlier and has not improved.
MoreLeonardo hotel of Granada is one of the best hotels they have big rooms and has bath tub as well. The rooms have good view of the city.Best part is the breakfast which is elaborate as compared to any hotel we lived in Spain during our holidays. People like us Asians we need hot food and it is made available. Lots of variety in breads and sweets . My family really enjoyed the stay. You will not miss anything here. Of course TV is not clear however it doesnt matter as we dont come here to see TV.Awesome breakfast worth staying here
MoreStaff were very helpful and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Great for a night or two in Granada.
MoreVery great stay for the price. There is 24 hour concierge, which helped with our flight that arrived at 2AM. The inside was spacious, with a very clean bathroom. Our room also came with a terrace, which had very nice views of the city in the morning. The only complaint I have is the bed - the mattress is sort of hard, and while we requested a king bed, what we got was two twin beds put next to each other. It was doable but not preferred.
MoreIt was what we expected. The room was great, street view but quiet. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner (but I like my bathrooms super clean)... breakfast was not the best but the patio was stunning.
MoreGrey room on the 13th floor with amazing views of city and only an easy straight few minute walk to the Alambra.Travelling alone a welcome is important and this I received and exceptional price!Thank you
MoreIf understated means tired and reeking of smoke then the description of the rooms is uncannily accurate. The walls are so thin that every conversation, flushing toilet, running tap is so clear as to make sleep impossible. I suppose you get what you pay for. Had I been paying I would have aimed higher. I guess someone got a deal for a reason...
MoreI have sometimes asked for help. Its usually about transport. In Granada, hotels can call you a taxi, and they have a different waiting list (in other words, the taxi doesnt take as long as it would if you call them directly). The staff at the hotel have always been very helpful.
MoreGood food and high quality breakfast, excellent rooms and a refrigerator to use for your own food.
MoreI think its pretty good for its price but we did had one problem with the WiFi, it was disconnecting every 10 minutes, which was pretty frustrating. but thats pretty much it. Overall it was pretty good, I dig it.
MoreTerrible experience in this hotel. The attitude of the front desk is the worst and no privacy nor security in the room.
MoreHotel has parking which was helpful as we had a rental car. Nice size room though the beds were quite firm and uncomfortable, we were on the 13th floor and despite this could hear everything that was happening on the street below all night.
MoreGranada is a beautiful city and Leonardo Hotel is the best hotel to stay in, because is so close to the city center. Little bit expensive and little bit hard to find a place where to park the car but that was not a problem.
MoreVery nice, uncomplicated and reliable Service! Clean comfortable rooms with Clean and big bathroom! Good location within 5 min walking distance from the downtown area!
MoreHotel very nice. .staff very helpful. Location good. Price for car parking and bit steep !! Would rate 7 out of 10 😃
MoreNo telephone in the room..no wall contacts to charge your phone..the switch of by the lightswitch. Not able to set temperature for the a/c . To much noise from outside and neighbours rooms...outdated . No shelf in the cupboard to store your clothes no hangers . The only positive is that the room and bedsheets are clean
MoreOne of the worst hotels Ive ever stayed in, its supposed to be a four star but two stars is generous. Our stay at this hotel ruined this part of our Spanish holiday. The rooms and furniture are shabby and in dire need of refurbishment, no tea or coffee making facilities, threadbare sheets with holes in them, TVs are old tube type. The reception staff are not very friendly from having to manage many unhappy guests. Due to the poor condition of our room we asked if we could look at another room and were told that its a waste of time because they are all in the same condition, which was true. The buffet breakfast was however amazing and the one good thing about the hotel. The Photos on Booking Com are deceptive, especially the ones that show a rooftop deck/terrace, this does not exist? or the modern pleasant looking rooms, which in reality are the type you would get at a non rated motel.
MoreIt seems that the hotel is no longer part of the Vincci chain. Personel was occupied with computers. Room was very hot and the airco made a hell of a.noise. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom smelt aweful. This hotel no longer has the rating it had in 2009. All Vincci branding was taped off. Will not return there.
MoreWe went for drinks on the way to the bus station. All the staff were super friendly and everything we got was good
MoreGreat views over the Sierra Nevada, rooms are large clean and comfortable although showing the sign of time, centrally located close to train station
MoreI am finish the job of the city of London and the other day and night and I will be in touch with the new year to you by the way to get the best way to go to the present day and night and I will be in touch with the new year to you by the way to get the best way to go to the present day and night and I will be in touch with the new year to you by the way to get the best way to go to the present day and night and I will be in touch with the new year to you by the way to get the best way to go to the present day and night and
MoreWe had a good time there. The personal is nice and se didnt had any problem. Totally recomended
MoreExcellent view to the Alambra and big balcon. High quality of services, though some requirement pre-contracted werent filled.
MoreThis hotel is in an excellent location to the city centre and has parking. The hotel and the rooms themselves are very nicely decorated and up to a good standard. The price was also excellent at €45 for the night. There are some negatives. Firstly make sure that you have ironed everything in advance, this is the first hotel I have ever been to that does not provide this facility. Secondly, if you have paid in advance be careful they dont try and make you pay twice. Even with the information that we had paid in front of us they were still maintaining we had to pay so just be careful as they may try it on!
MoreLocation is on the main street of the Granada, Maybe 10 to 15 minutes walk to the heart of downtown, yet furniture in the rooms are a bit old and the hotel have an old outdated feel.however, the price to value ratio is perfect.
