Lemongrass Pan Asian Cuisine - Asian restaurant in Protaras, Cyprus
Great place, fantastic food! Try the Black Bean Sirloin Beef. 👌🏻
Delicious food, authentic and neatly plated. Service was good. I will definitely come back!
Lovely venue, outside setting with marque setup. It is hidden away from the public which makes it private. The menu is simple with different types of meats for what dishes they do. We ordered a starter( Dim Sum Pork), Main (Beef Fillet Teriyaki, Sweet & Sour Chicken & Stir Fried Egg Noodles I have to say the food was lovely, I think we over ordered with the noodles as the meals are large enough on there own.Team very friendly and attentive. So far being here for 1 week, this wins overall for the week with the different places we have tried.Only note is, maybe turn up the ambient music up slightly more so it isnt quite a dead atmosphere.Thank you
Loads of great places to eat in Protaras but this place was the highest quality. Food, wine and service was excellent.Εμφάνιση λιγότερων
I was rushing to grab dinner before going to the airport and Ive informed the staff of my time constraints as soon as I got there. The staff were speedy and accomodating. The food was delicious. Ive had the sea bass and it was one of the best fish dishes Ive ever had! Definitely recommend.
Very good food and brilliant service! Green tea brulle to die for!
Fabulous food .eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed
Surprisingly good. Hadn’t expected much after visiting marcello’s across the road which I assume are all owned by the same operators and being really disappointed. In contrast this place was great, very decently sized portions and well priced, good quality too. Service a tad slow but was peak time and the place was full.Had the double cooked bbq belly pork and beef black bean sauce and a variety of starters.
We have eaten here twice this week, on both occasions the food has been fantastic, the waiters & waitresses very attentive and friendly and the restaurant appearance beautiful! We will definitely return on our regular visits to Protaras.
Fantastic food quality! Professional service
Very good an tasty food. Polite service. Excelent value for money.
Surprisingly decent Asian restaurant on the touristy strip of Protaras. Beef Rendeng, Bulgogi, red curry, chicken satay, all good and full of flavor:
The food was not very good starter was Thai fish cakes. that was not a Thai fish cake it was some fish potato in bread crumbs? They brought the wrong main for my wife and took it back leaving my meal on the table while they made my wife a new meal. So I was left to eat on my own or what and let it go cold not good.as we had gone out for a meal together I waited and tried to get the waiter by the time he came my meal was cold.
The food was disproportional with the price. It was straight up boring. We had green curry, Pad thai, chicken satay and soft shell crab. The green curry was like a chicken breast from Lidl cooked in prefabricated curry paste. With that price I expected more. My local Chinese restaurant serves ten times better for 1/3 of the price.
Great asian food in the center of Protaras. The service was excellent. They could have more options of draught beers in the menu.
Been many times. Food good and service fine.
Not the most amazing experience, but the food was okay with large quantity
Got noodles Yaki udon. Do not like at all, not delicious. Price little bit higher. Never come again.
A very quick stop for drinks and sushi, good service.
Due to their very dated no dogs allowed policy, (even outside), we chose to eat elsewhere where our pooch was given a warm welcome.
Best restaurant we went to in protaras. As a family of 8 we ate there 3 times over the week . The staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly the service was great. The Thai green curry is beautiful as is the kungpo the flavours were delicious and finished off with green tea crem brûlée which was stunning. All of us really enjoyed and can’t wait to go back
Good choice of menu - I had lemon chicken which I can recommend with egg fried rice.
Staff is ok, food is pretty expensive but tastes dull and lacks character, like from cheap kitchen. Pretty dissapointed. Wine was nice though. Couldn’t wait to pay and run away.
Great venue and excellent service. So disappointed with the food which was quite expensive. Thai Red Curry had large lumps of inedible vegetables. Kung Po Chicken very salty. Would not go back. To make matters worse one of the stray cats in the restaurant scratched me 😫
Great spot and really tasty food!! As a starter we had sashimi, tuna spicy roll and rainbow roll. For our main dishes we ordered black bean beef and beef bulgogi! You really need to visit!!🤤Fast and friendly service!! But a little disappointed with the price increase!
Authentic Asian cuisine! I recommend!
Not happy! Too far from original Chinese cuisine. No service, inattentive personal. This is not a place to visit a second time.
Fantastic food! One of the best Asian food we’ve had outside of Asia. Starter, main dish, dessert. Especially the beef bulgogi tastes like heaven. And the chocolate spring roles are also delicious. The spring roles are awesome as a starter; small, but the quality is fantastic. The waiters have been nice and we got our food quite fast. 10 out of 10 ⭐️
Came here twice this holiday. Lovely food, good selection to choose from.I recommend the tempura prawns, crispy Peking duck pancakes, and banana tempura with honey (clearly I like tempura)
Very good food. We had spring rolls, thai green curry and chicken tariyaki. Mango n passion fruit ice cream for dessert. One of the best food experiences.
Really good restaurant with a nice varied menu, its not often I can go to a restaurant in a touristy destination and find a beef rendang on the menu. We had great starters (dim sum and spring rollsmy wife had the hoisin udon and obviously I had the rendang. Good prosecco and nice environment. One tiny nitpick and I feel really old saying this...its really dark, the lighting is very atmospheric but everyone I saw had to get there phone out to read the menu. I couldnt really see my food either....tasted fantastic though.
Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Prime location but the staff seem to have some issue with being waiters, not sure why you would choose that profession. A double whammy was the food was actually horrible I ordered the beef noodle dish which had 6 strips of beef in it with possibly 3 or 4 veg. My partners rice was burnt at the bottom and cold and also not sure how they made egg fried rice with a slither of egg in it and the wrong type of rice.Starters while overpriced were actually quite decent but not enough to redeem the poor experience.Looking for a different flavor I would rather recommend the mc Donald’s down the road then Lemon Grass Pan Asian cuisine save your tummy (ours were bad the following morningand money!
Disappointed, they have no idea what tempura batter is. Batter used is standard batter and was really thick and greasy. Mentioned this to the waitress who told manager. They couldnt even be bothered to come over. Wont eat here again.
We had beef rendang rice and green vegetables curry rice, both are excellent. Meat is tender and not too spicy. Good cooking, well done.
Such a lovely restaurant with great staff and lovely food. My food was made spicy according to my request and it exactly matched my expectation! Extremely satisfied dinner and highly recommended 💯
The service was prompt. The food quality was very good and the prices are reasonable. Tried the aromatic duck salad and black bean sirloin beef, both very tasty. Truly recommend it.
To begin with, some from the stuff was slightly RUDE , AGRESSIVE and impatient. That is something very bad and derogatory for a restaurant if ur angry take some chill pills is not my fault. Second of all there is NO WIFI that’s embarrassing. Third of all my noodles was too salty and from the other members from the company, like measure ur soy sauce is noodles not herring . The sushi was too expensive from the what they deserve. Overall I’m very disappointed my expectations was very high and u made me dislike EVRYTHING . Definitely I don’t recommend .
The food wasn’t bad , but I couldn’t taste what I wanted to in an Asian cuisine restaurant. I liked the fact that there were many different Asian cuisines , but my chicken noodles had just 4 pieces of chicken and a lot of sauce , that made it really savory (more than it should have been The waiters and waitresses didn’t wear their masks properly and they were rude as they were always angry and kept us waiting for a while . Our sushi wasn’t bad but it was more expensive than its actual worth.
Rude manager, no parking space we came 15 mn late to our booking due to lack of parking and waiting queu front of the restaurant, they gave our table away and didnt let us enter however half of the restaurant was empty. Never again . I ve been before the food was good, the service and management is mediocre. But there is lot of competition out there and better places around. This place is seasonal not looking at the long term.
July 8th 21: we had a very very nice dinner. So tasteful and large portions. I choose the Indonesian Rendang as a main and asked to make it a bit more spicy. Absolutely wonderful. Perfect taste. My partner picked the 1/2 duck. Trust this stranger: 1/4 will do for one person! A big 5 out of 5 rating. Service was quick, friendly, efficient. We come to Cyprus more often and this restaurant has been added to our favorites.
It felt like a bad Kitchen Nightmares episode, I was half expecting Gordon Ramsey to come out and start yelling at everyone.Service was feeling rushed, half rude and very unwelcoming by the majority of the staff (we had 4 different waiters coming to our table and it was 50/50 split, some were really nice and extremely apologetic). It was a busy night and kitchen seemed to be slammed, we noticed that they refused to sit more tables after ours.We wanted to try something unusual after having lots of authentic local food and were looking for a light dinner. Ordered a tom yam and two rolls (ebi tempura and mango-avocado). Rolls were ok, not much flavour or appearance difference between two of them and average rice to filling ratio. Tom yam was extremely “white washed”, looked blant and cloudy, even though it we expected it to be vegetarian, we were still surprised by the amount of them - two sad slices of baby corn and three pieces of shiitake mushroom. No tomatoes, no onions, no coconut milk, no authentic spices and flavours. Broth was just salted water with a bit of Chili. Waitress came to check on us and we asked if the kitchen messed up and sent us the wrong order, asking if it’s a miso soup because colour and cloudiness was resembling it more. She couldn’t recognized it and just said “try if it’s spicy, then it’s the one”. Might be nit picking, but staff should know visual differences between three soups on the menu. When we were trying to pay, it was hard to find anyone to ask for the bill and then everything once again felt rushed and rude. They were having a bad night and we definitely felt that...Not gonna be returning there. Getting a different cuisine was an exciting prospect but not when it comes with such questionable flavours and qualities. It’s a shame because it’s a pretty establishment.Unfortunately no photos because it was dark and blurry.
I usually have a difficult time giving 5 stars to an establishment but our last visit was truly deserving of 5. Perhaps new management or perfecting their processes. Service was efficient, friendly and willing. Food was served quickly, fresh and well prepared. The atmosphere was enjoyable and friendly. Of all our yearly visits this one topped them all, continue doing what you are doing.
Excellent food, absolutely loved it! The staff is very friendly and the place in general is great. I would definitely recommend it
Excelent experience! Taste and interesting! The disches are very big! Dim Sun is very special! We were served very well. If u stay at Sunrise Hotel and the meal is included - many dishes are included. The staff will explain what is not included, but the list is not so small , so it would be much better to have separate menu to resident guests.
We visit every year and always visit Lemongrass 2 or 3 times in the week. Amazing for, lovely atmosphere, staff are always friendly and on the ball with the service, amazing all round.
Very disappointed, reviews are not correct , tempura prawns very greasy ,sashmi came in chunks, beef main was very salty , the wine list was from lidi and asda ,the veg in the dishes was white cabbage very tough and carrots was not cooked , so all in all was a very disappointing meal ,would not recommend, unless you want a take away meal at the local and Im sure that would be better , so give it miss if you are in protaras Pan Asian my arse
Good portions sizes, nice clean toilets up a spiral staircase. Food is adequate but the sauces taste ready made and very salty. We ordered starters the prawn dumplings tasted like pork and the pork rolls were like a tough battered savaloy.
Great food. Service was awesome and the staff was very friendly.
Amazing food and great service. Who would think you could have amazing Thai food in Cyprus. Try the teriyaki chicken and thai green curry, they tasted like heaven and the rice was delicious too. We will visit the restaurant again before we return to London
A pleasant surprise in Protaras. The place is inviting and once you enter the staff are very friendly. The place only opens for dinner and is quite busy all night with a trendy crowd. The table and seats are comfortable and can accommodate small or large groups. We tried several dishes including the basic sweet and sour and they were all good with the duck being very very good. The portions were generous and the presentation appetizing. If you are hungry, they do not disappoint.I will definitely come to this place anytime Im in Cyprus.
