Great local takeaway. Price to food ratio is very reasonable.I’ve had the fish and chips and chicken burger on multiple occasions 10/10.Although the fridge could be stocked up a tad more.5 stars cause it’s walking distance for me and good value

The food here is fantastic.The burgers are huge and filling and the chips were cooked to perfection.The shop is clean and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Great service with a smile.

Beautiful absolutely beautiful. Chips absolutely perfect with the right amount of salt and everything. Burger just the best of the best, delicious, fresh and oh so filling. Definitely worth the trip from Brisbane to Ipswich. Great service too will be going here whenever I can.

Brought a burger from there there not use gloves to handle most of the when I took a bite of the burger found out these use meat parties all ready made from likes of freezer from a supermarket not like the old owners where they made there own hamburger meat and alot better quality of food and better selection I wont be going back there agian and food hygiene is nit there way over priced for a burger where the the hamburger patie brought from safe ways coles aldies or our of the box from the frozen food section in the the freezer

Pretty impressed with this place. Not perfect but pretty damn close.Bought a $10 hamburger combo - got an absolutely massive Whopper-style burger that I could barely finish (and was really fresh and tasty), plus a massive serve of chips and a drink. Great value.Also, customer service was amazing; there was a single young guy probably no older than 21 running the entire place on his own, he was clearly busy but he made sure that I knew I was taken care of regardless. I sure hope the owners appreciate him.The only thing that kept it from being 5 star was that the food was slightly bland, so just ask for extra salt and extra sauce and youll have an amazing meal guaranteed.

Bought a chicken burger, not cooked properly at all and smelled terrible. Called to let them know and they just said “okay” I explained raw chicken can make people really sick, the owner said “okay” and that was the end of the phone call. Will never be back and will be letting other locals know: This place needs to be checked out by food safety immediately. I’ll also be reporting this to them aswell. Check your chicken if it’s crumbed from this place or avoid this take away store all together. Disgusting.

Lovely staff. I cant fault them on the low availability of products. Thats a combination of floods and... Well, floods. But, the fact that they are still open shows great resilience. Well done, guys!

Ordered $5 chips and 2 hockey fish, how is this $5 chips and how can they sell fish that’s not fully cooked……being new owners how can you be so poor at your food when your meant to give yourselves a good name when starting a new shop

Ladies are amazing and so polite and are always smiling and they talk you very nicely. Would recommend to anyone that would ask about them.

I have only tried the chips from here, with the new owners. They were okay, but I miss the old chips that were sold there. We used to get them all the time

The new owner has removed the best thing on the menu. All Day Breakfast.There was someone cooking in the kitchen and they had no shoes on. The "crumbed sausage" isnt even a crumbed sausage its a battered sausage. The "crumbed sausage" smoky BBQ roll had a smear of normal BBQ sauce. The roast chicken and gravy roll had like no chicken on it and the gravy still had some powdered gravy in it and roll was squished. The hot chips were OK I guess, they werent chips and that was not 5 dollars worth of chips. #dobetter

Obviously under new management. Went up not knowing ordered chips gravy and a works hamburger. When i walked chips in the hot box wrapped with a gravy. I placed my order and had to confirm no i dony want a large chips i want 7 dollars worth please. Came back in yhe shop 15 mins later to be given the hamburger and the same chips from the hot box with the gravy! Needless to say they were foul as was the gravy tasted foul and I say a kitchen hand come in with a box of black ans gold gravy from next door.. The burger was a let down too. We uae ro spend 20 to 65 a week there as working from home. Not much in the greater scheme of things but will not frequent again. Such a shame as not too many options in Leichhardt.

Oooh yuk my partner and I have been buying the chicken curry since the new owners took over . About 18 months well we had eaten large between us and OMG a FLY a big BLOWFLY.Needs the health department anothertimethe chicken had a lemon flavour too it. I recognised the flavour as it was the same as some chicken kebabs that had been left out too long about too turn into food poisoningNeed a health n safety check please

Ordered fish and chips.. The pieces of battered fish we ordered were very tasty and huge together with plenty of chips.. Would highly recommend.

On Friday night decided to try the new local takeaway place.Ordered a family pack ($45.00), an additional kabana ($3.00and a small slushy from the machine ($2.50).The fish was the freshest, delicate pieces we have ever had from a take away place.Blown away by its quality.The 4 pieces of fish were battered perfectly.Only dispute we have, as we paid by card, we didnt realise we had been over charged by $2.00.We ended up paying $52.50 instead of $50.50.Not a massive deal, but I guess that would add up if people werent cognisant of it at the time.For the quality of food, we will be back. But ensuring we are charged correctly in future.

Chips are not very nice and they dont know what chicken salt is and order $6 worth then next day got $10 we got more for $6 than we did for $10 Not very satisfied at all

Got a steak works burger and chicken and salad roll great value for money they were both huge and we couldnt eat all of the large serve of chips between us, will defiantly be going back!!!

Id say the best burgers on the West side of Ipswich, always fresh and I can say a handful. The range and options are great, so go check them out.

They k n own how to cook chips properly. They are better then anywhere else that Ive been. They have nice and friendly staff members. I will be going in more often.

Safe off street parking. Brisbane Rd is very busy during peak hour. Take care entering and exiting car park. Fish and chips delicious, tender fish.

Great works Burger, has every thing on it, egg pineapple, beetroot, bacon, chicken, or steak, mince Patty, tomato, onion, good price, huge burger, see if you can finish one

Good Friday is fish & chips, we decided to try this lovely take away definitely not disappointed. The fish was beautifully cooked in a nice light batter, calamari was some of the best weve had. I would have liked to say the potato scallops were great but I like shop made not the ones from a frozen packet. Will definitely return to try out the rest of the menu.

Well priced and a good range of takeaway from burgers to fish n chips. A little old inside, but friendly service. Good meal deals and AMAZING WORKS burger. Easy access parking and next to a convenience store.

I was absolutely starving before stopping here on my way through Ipswich but not anymore. Excellent takeaway food, HUGE homestyle burgers and fresh, crunchy homemade calamari rings all for very reasonable prices. This place is awesome!

Got a burger with the lot, chips n potato scallops... Omg the burger was amazing!!! And the price is better than other places Ive been too. Scallops were also crunchy n fresh.. Chips were a bit soggy but will just ask to get them cooked longer.. Will definitely be going back
