Stopped in for happy hour and was not disappointed. The $5 cava was just what we needed with all the delicious selection. The spaetzle was perfectly cooked with brown butter as there was no need to complicate a simple yet delicious dish. The charcuterie was well balanced with fat, acid and salt with delicious loaf of bread for crunch. Less one star: the pub truly does not reflect the food that is served of European fare.

Not sure if just me but all the dishes here are quite salty even though the overall flavor was delicious. Loved their mussels, boar noodle and octopus fried rice. Our server is super friendly, he even took time to bring back the mead beer label as I requested the name of our mead beer (it was delicious!!). Highly recommend this place.

I am in town for work and I like to try out a new place on Sunday nights. This time around I made a reservation and took the short walk from my hotel over to the restaurant. The place was quite lively for a Sunday night but I was seated right away against one of the large windows which was nice. While the menu is small it is sophisticated. I decided on the wild boar and beef ragu with pasta. I can say it was an excellent dish and the portion size was just right. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the dish wasnt drowning in the ragu. My server was friendly and the price wasnt bad at all considering the care that went into making my dish. I had a wonderful experience and I would certainly recommend this place.

I had an amazing pork chop, tender & tasty. My wife had probably the best wedge salad she has ever had. Cocktail menu is creative, servers are friendly, and we had beautiful sunset colors or the window. Ended dinner with the donut holes, perfect.

Delicious food and friendly service. Great relaxed atmosphere. European food with a north-western twist. Seasonal menu with variety of small plates as well as larger mains. The scallops in particular were my favourite - fresh and perfectly cooked. Wine list had some excellent European wines that were reasonably priced. Would definitely go again.

Its my first time here and its for business lunch with my cowokers. The food is awesome. I ordered a fried chicken porchetta sandwich with a squash soup. The bun of the sandwich is surprising tasty and the seasoning and texture of the chicken is fabulous. I will come here again for sure. And I will recommend it to my friends.

Great place for lunch or dinner for small/large groups as well as cosy corners for singles/couples. We went as a large group for lunch and tried "soup of the day" - my favourite fish chowder. Followed by a great BLT with lovely crispy bacon. We washed it down with coffee (only filtered, no baristabut they also have an extended range of beers and wines. Staff were great and very attentive to each table.

Had the soothsayer for cocktail (am normally a beer drinkerand it was refreshing and unique. The black cod was cooked to perfection IMO. Portion was perfect for me as I did not want a big main but if you are a big eater, u will be able to fit 2 in your stomach - but I am not complaining for myself as it was perfect for my night. Waitress was polite and smiley and timing of question and follow up was very pleasant. Restaurant was maybe 3/4 full when I was there. Not sure how the service will be when it is packed. Highly recommended.

The happy hour experience is 5 stars! (Get the sausage & lentils or the short rib). Price & service are both amazing! For normal lunch or dinner, I find this place a bit expensive for what you get, and most of the entrees don’t wow me.

Everytime I come here (typically late nightI have a really solid experience. The staff are friendly and familiar in the best kind of way. They engage you but really let you relax in an atmosphere suited for the nightowl dinner Im looking for. I keep coming back for that reason + the food is excellent and Ive rarely ever had an issue with anything. Nobody is perfect 100% of the time so it bears mentioning anytime anything has been off theyve fixed it with the same friendliness and attentiveness that they share with everything else.

This is our go-to restaurant in Seattle. Excellent service, a carefully curated wine list, and great cocktails always pair well with the amazing food. Always a great, friendly vibe here. Menus change based on whats in season and we have never been let down during our many, many visits here! Looking forward to returning again in the spring.

Was at Lecosho for a late dinner about a week ago and had a mixed experience. The atmosphere and service are good, no complaints there. The food is pricey for what you get and borders on the low end of fine dining but without the finesse or service you would expect with a higher end restaurant. Expect to pay around $30 for an entree, which we know means $40 with tax and tip.I had the halibut which unfortunately was under seasoned and slightly overcooked. But my main concern was the portion size. I don’t expect an entire fish, but come on, it was 6 bites. It was the tiniest portion of fish I’ve had in a while.I also ordered a green bean and smoked salmon side. The side was almost twice the size of the entree (which goes back to my issues about portion sizeand was far too salty because of how salty the salmon was. It also had bones in it, which made it difficult to eat because the salmon was crumbled.I don’t think I would go back. This place has potential but needs to have a rethink based on the dishes I ordered. Maybe I ordered wrong, but both of them had real issues.

We came here for a work event. We had to schedule just the day before, yet they were able to accommodate a large grouo of 10 people. When we arrived our table was ready, and the wait staff was wonderful. I had the ragu which was wonderful. Drinks were great, and for those of us that had wine, the waiter was very helpful choosing a great bottle. Would highly recommend!

I thought this drink would be crazily sweet, but its not, haha I think the bartender made it a little too strong for me! Better stir the drink before you drink it! My friend ordered short ribs, I forgot to take a photo of it and we ate them all. the meat are so tendered and the sauce is good, couldnt stop stealing my friends meal!

Located on the Harbour steps and in sight of the hammering man this was a great place to eat. We both had the pan seared halibut which was very interestingly sauced and tasted delicious. Followed by equally fascinating desserts and washed down with a great Chardonnay chosen from a good wine list with plenty by the glass. Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable.

I have never once been disappointed by anything I have ordered here! From the lovely staff to the simple gorgeous understated elegance of the ambiance, to the Happy Hour only Spaetzle that I would probably live on if it was an option, this place definitely makes my Seattle top 5 list when it comes to the gems of quality and consistency. ALSO, of importance to ladies such as myself, it is a place where I can belly up to the bar alone and be given respectful distance to eat in peace and contentment. It really is a wonderful place that I enjoy every time.

My husband and I shared a wonderful meal here last night. All the food, from cocktails to dessert, was superb. Servers were attentive and prompt without being stuffy or in the way. We ordered cocktails and cornbread to start, pork and pappardelle for dinner, and the chocolate torte for dessert. All fairly simple sounding dishes that were executed flawlessly with unique flavors that really elevated each one. My husband said his was the best pork chop he had ever had. Wonderful experience. Will definitely return next time were in Seattle.

Really delicious food and most of it (if not allwas locally sourced. The location is downtown Seattle - close to the water. The restaurant is pretty intimate, but they also have patio seating that looks nice. I got chicken and my date got pork. We both loved our food. They also had a good wine selection that had affordable and extremely expensive options. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and service. I would definitely return for a date night again!

Really nice place with delicious food. Some dishes are smaller so recommend the chicken for something heartier and the salmon or fried rice forsomething smaller. The bread and cheese platter small plates are great - cheeses rotate by season.

I love to eat here by myself. You can see the kitchen staff work, and although it must not be fun to work where everyone can see, I love to watch. Food is outstanding. I had scallops and white beans and I was super impressed by the cook on thebscallops and how well all the flavors melded. Dessert pairs with the perfect whiskey reccomend by my waitress was divine.

Great service. Food was fantastic. Homemade sausage was A+ as was the Mushroom Gnocchi. Great attention to subtlety with flavors and not just cheating with butter. How fresh/flavorful the heirloom tomatoes were had me pleasantly surprised. Would visit again.

I love this place overall, Ive been here many times, great for special occasions. Menu rotates but the pork chop is always good and the cauliflower with anchovy sauce. Occasionally Ive had items that were misses. Mussels in a bland tomato based broth for example. But Ive also had good muscles there. Ive had many more hits than misses the so just ask your server whats best at any given time.

A dear friend of mine recommended me this place. He was right. First of all the service was lovely. Sure, the beer came after the meals but hey, nobody’s perfect. The food was more than okay: I have tried the homemade sausage and the octopus, both appetizers that will be enough for a standard stomach (let’s not forget we are in Amerika). The interior design is noce and cozy, although a bit chaotic. Overall this was a good experience and might come back some day.

My fiance and I met here at my birthday party several years ago. We come back every year on my birthday to celebrate both occasions. Its also great for pre or post museum trip drinks and light snacks. I love the atmosphere- modern, intimate, warm lighting, and the open kitchen. I like the seasonal fare, and the food and service are consistently good.

The food is great, although the menu is somewhat limited. Service can be hit or miss, I have been there twice, the first time we got our food within 15 minutes of ordering, the second took almost an hour. The atmosphere is nice, a sort of worn in (but very nice), comfortable and intimate space, where it doesnt feel like you are packed so close to other people its hard to focus on your date.

One of the best small plates Ive ever enjoyed... I ordered the $9 Grilled House Made Sausage on a bed of lentils with a soft-boiled egg. It was one of the best dishes Ive had. So much flavor and so simple. The sausage was grilled to perfection. The lentils tasted wonderful. So many restaurants serve them bland, but not here. They could be a meal on their own. There is a happy-hour menu (3-6with some tempting offerings Ill try next time. They have a tag-line "food we love"... Youll love it too. Ill be back again.

The food was great. We were recommended this restaurant and it turned out to be a lot more than we expected. The pork chops were the best that I have ever eaten. The octopus was excellent, and the platters were the greatest in the Seattle area. Would definitely recommend this place to any restaurant goer.
