Leach Bros Bar-B-Q and Linda's Patio - Barbecue restaurant in Cleburne, United States
The best BBQ around!! The ribs and brisket were tender and juicy. Didnt need sauce, but the sauce was wonderful. The polish sausage, spicy chicken salad and potato salad, absolutely delicious!! Great service and Great Food!
Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Great smoked meats. Try the pulled pork. You are welcome.
Came here on a whim and it did not disappoint. We came back a few days later to get more before our vacation was over and we headed home. The pulled pork and brisket are delicious, and the best potato salad Ive had in a while. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Just a great place all-round.
This place deserves more than 5 stars. Great food, great service, great prices. I especially recommend the peach cobbler, deviled eggs, and the chicken. I will be coming back for seconds and possibly even thirds!!
This quaint little place makes the best barbecue, super good prices signs that would make Grandma proud! I give it six stars.. I want to check out the lawn art in the lindas patio!
AWESOME food and service! They are handling COVID like pros and everything was clean and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the giant brisket baked potato, 10/10. We will definitely be back soon!
Impeccable service and great food!! The brisket was so tender and juicy and the smoked sausage was top notch too! The pricing is cheaper than most as well. I will definitely be dropping by again real soon! Thanks for a great experience and super delicious BBQ!
I was so hoping this place would be good. The people are so nice and great service. The food is in a word bad.the sausage was inedible, the ribs are so peppered you cant taste the meat and the brisket, lets just say the more you chew the bigger and dryer it gets. Mac n cheese ,pass but the baked potatoes and green beans were ok.
The food was very good and service was great! We had the hot link sausage and ribs, chopped beef sandwich which were all very good. The potato casserole was excellent. We topped it off with the pecan cobbler. The place was also very clean. We will be back.
This place is amazing!!! The staff so attentive to the customer. The Ribs very tender, Mac and cheese seasoned well, potatoes salad off the topper. Oh my GOODNESS the peach cobbler stays warm with the ice cream on top. I’m so satisfied with my service today
My husband and I drove through Cleburne this past weekend, and decided to stop and grab a bite to eat. We ran across Leach bros BAR-B-Q. Wow we were welcomed and were given good customer service. The meat (brisketwas tender with good flavor. The potato salad was great. A pasta cucumber salad that was fantastic. And the pies were delicious. We are from austin and have tasted some pretty good barbecue. This place can definitely give you a good meal. I recommend you stop in and try it.
Visited Fossil Rim Wildlife Center and on the way home we wanted some bbq and Leach Bros Bar-B-Q came up and Im glad we did! Wife ahd the chopped beef, the kids had the brown bag special sandwiches and my youngest who doesnt usually like bbq finished everything on his plate. The meat was juicy, full of flavor and on top of that, the Trailboss Habenero sauce puts a nice spicy kick to it. Bought some to bring home too. We found our spot for bbq when traveling down south. Todd made sure our experience was a good one. Worth making the drive from Dallas!
Amazing! Ribs, pulled pork, chopped beef, brisket taco, peach cobbler, lemon meringue pie... delicious!!! Simple digs with friendly caring service! Highly recommend!
Dynamite Texan BBQ! Amazing food, fantastic staff (if the owner, Todd, has time for a story, consider yourself lucky!), and a laid back, old school atmosphere. It doesn’t get any better than this, y’all!
Love the staff! Very helpful and genuinely kind.Came towards the end of the business day and ordered the family dinner - it came with a pound of meat, 2 family sides, and 4 buns; I ordered 1/3 lbs of sliced fatty brisket, polish sausage, and chopped brisket, a well as the mac n cheese and pinto beans. $24 - tons of food!I went to this place thinking, with its 4.7 stars on Google, that it would be on the level of the great Texas craft bbq places: your Heims, your Franklins, your Muellers, etc. It was not on that level, nor was it trying to be (I hope). I dont know if it was an off-day or an off-time-of-day to come, but everything I ordered was bland.
yum yum YUM! hit up this place after visiting dinosaur valley today - did not disappoint! i try to eat healthy, so i would call this a cheat meal ;but worth eeeevery bite! go and ENJOY! btw, the customer service was superb.
The food is fantastic, but the hospitality is what makes it five stars. They initially forgot to bring out my side item with the rest of the food, and Im pretty laid back, so it didnt bother me at all. Just asked how it was coming along, they profusely apologized, and brought it out immediately. Even insisted on giving me a free dessert when I told them it was no big deal.If you want some amazing bbq, served by some of the most friendly people around, give Leach Bros a try. You wont regret it!
Not really sure about all the reviews. This was my first time ever stopping in Cleburne.I thought I would find a little more authentic barbecue. But this is what there was to be found so maybe I had high hopes for mom and pops business being the better of the best. It was good but the memu lacked in variety. Would go back for the brown bag special any day!
Good BBQ and nice friendly atmosphere. I had the sliced brisket plate and it was flavorful and tender. Several BBQ sauces to choose from, mild to spicy hot, and are all delicious. Will visit again soon
Great bbq!!! We had sliced turkey, sliced brisket, and sausage with pea salad which was awesome( I dont usually eat pea saladbut it was really good, another must here was the sausage. It was soo 😋 yummy!!! We picked this up last minute for a get together in Alvarado and they handled it like no big deal, we were pleasantly surprised.
The baked potato stuffed with meat is 10/10. When I was looking at the reviews I was nervous that such a high rated bbq place would be expensive, but its not. They are completely affordable. The food is amazing, the workers were nice, and the price is great!
The brisket and ribs were absolutely delicious. I got the 2 meat plate with the potato salad and cole slaw. The flavor is perfect. My wife ordered the rib sandwich and pea salad and was immediately impressed! We’ll be back for sure. Oh, and the service is phenomenal. So friendly and welcoming.
Popped in on our way through Cleburne. Food was great, picked up some brisket, turkey and hot links along with a stuffed baked potato loaded and enough for two. BBQ sauce was a little on the sweet side for my taste but was good. Also had the mac n cheese and green beans sides which were both good as well.
Im a bbq expert at smoking and eating. This one doesnt make it. They smoke w electric smoker and mine was undercooked. I always order some from the cap with bark. And ribs. Neither was above average. The saving grace is they are convenient and offer an outdoor shopping of yard stuff. It was there I found the old stick burner smoker that looked like someone that used it, knew bbq. My suggestion to the owners: get back on the stick burner.
Holy moly. Best barbecue I’ve ever had.Ask for the Sliced brisket, moist. Don’t even need the knife to cut it, just hold it still while the fork pulls it apart.Serving canned soda avoids the area’s poor water quality, too.
Ive been going to this barbecue place since October 31st of last year and I want to tell you I had something interest in the other day. I ordered a stuffed baked potato. But when they prepare its very interesting. They actually take the potato and slam it on The Cutting Board not once but twice! Now the big potatoes I would get in Dallas would cost me 15 $20 for what he gave me! That baked potato was full of everything and with a ton of meat on it. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water! That baked potato was just as filling as one of their platters! Everyone should take a ride down to Burleson and on the drive on 67 you see the bluebonnets and then you get to have the best barbecue youve ever had in your life!
Ive had several items here but the brisket is very tender, the sauce is really tangy with a slight spicy kick! Im ready to try the breakfast burrito that gets so much attention.
Had the pulled pork today, all I can say it was amazing! Moist and juicy and full of flavor! Bbq sauce was great and complimented the meat "didnt mask the flavor of the meat at all"... great job by the pit master! Service was friendly and spot on!
We ordered two sandwich plates and two teas and it cost us $30. The girl wanted a tip up front for ringing it up and bringing it out. It was the worst food I have ever eaten. We ordered pulled pork and it tasted like sawdust. The barbecue sauce had a lot of thickener added. Yuck We really wanted to like it but it was very disappointing. I could not eat mine.
Love going here for the breakfast burritos! 🌯They are some of the biggest Ive had, that I didnt make. No anemic burritos here 🤗 I always get the one with everything and their sauce for under $5!
I had some business do in Cleburne Texas and was in the mood for bar b que and I founnd this great small place that has been there for 67 years. The owner is Todd and a second genertion owner. Todd is a great guy because when you get bar b que from him he treats you like family. In December when I was there he ask me if I tried his hot link which is one I never tasted before. The favor was great. Then he ask if I tried his sauce I stated here it is, then he said no my private special sauce. He ran like a kid getting a toy and when he came bake and tried everything he brought back and then it happen. As I tried all he brought me to try as I tasted everything he took my mouth and taste buds to a place that you personally have to experience yourself because there are no works that could eplain what it was like except for old timehome cooking way far back in the day. All their sides are great. The ribs you take a bite of and the meat falls off the bone. The brisket is like very cold butter hitting a hot pan, just melts away. All the flavors are our of this world. And you cannot leave without having cobbler with valnila ice cream. I thought the peach cobbler was out of this world and brought me back to when I was a kid. But wait the pecan cobbler is the best because he cooks it a little bit longer and the cobbler is like 2 deserts in one. On top it is crispy like a praline and then cobbler on the bottom then add ice cream to the top, its a wonderful feeling to feel like a kid again when you eat this.I will not think twice to drive from Plano, Texas to Cleburne, Texas 64 miles and over an hour drive for some old fashioned home cooked meal and be treated like family and the only one there. Ask for Todd and ask him all about his sauces and food and tell him Marcus said to stop by.
Got the loaded baked potato 😋 meat was super soft (I just had work done on my teeth and it was easy to eat). Staff came out and asked if everything was ok, she hooked me up with more bbq sauce. Also the sauce is thick is consistency, I like that 😄
Food was great and even better the price was a bargin. I had the brisket egg and cheese breakfast burrito and it was stuffed full of brisket and the bbq sauce was a perfect addition to the taste. Highly recommend the food. These are good people.
The brisket and ribs were tender and juicy. Potato salad was probably the best Ive ever had. Beans were also amazing. Then the pecan cobbler, just wow. So good!
Very kind service. The owners are down to earth good people. The food was full of flavor. Everything I sampled was great. I will be goong again for sure. They have an awsome lunch Special.
The ribs were fall off the bone tender, not too smoky, or salty. The spicy chicken salad is awesome as were the deviled eggs! What really did me in was the pecan cobbler! Everything you love about pecan pie, with extra gooey sauce! Was ahhhhmazing!!!!!
Great place. Classic Texas BBQ.The owner was on hand and gave us a full rundown on everything they offer. Brisket was fall apart tender. Dry rub on the ribs was killer. Just a little bit spicy and tons of flavor. Its a little bigger on the inside then it looks. Really nice, very clean. Highly recommend stopping by.
First time was yesterday (12/29/16)at lunch time . Ive been back 2 more times. I had the beef plate with spicy chicken salad and potato salad. Meat was juicy and tender. The chicken salad was delicious too. Great place. Excellent customer service
Stop by for lunch and we had the Rib plate special and it was good smokie type ribs not overpowering with side order of BBQ sauce it was just right. I usually prefer Ribs but next time I will try the other types of meat. My wife had the same rib plate and she ate everything off her plate and she usually doesnt finish her plate at other places. Todd (The new ownerhas a good thing going here check it out.Rick Rodriguez
My husband and I were traveling to Dallas from Austin. We had our heart set on bbq. The normal place on our route was closed early for Thanksgiving eve. I googled bbq in Cleburne as that was the next town for us. I came across Leach Bros and so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. It was an hour and a half before their closing time and customers were picking up their smoked items. My husband and I had their bbq brisket with sides then we splurged on dessert. I had the peach cobbler and he had the cherry cobbler with icecream on both. Tasted like my mom used to make. My husband loved the coleslaw - and he is picky about his slaw. All in all, it was a very good experience and the staff was friendly and most helpful.
Our friend bought Leach BBQ in Cleburne, Tx.It is absolutely wonderful and priced very well!!They also have a pecan pie cobbler and peach cobbler that is heavenly! Great job Todd! Congratulations on your new adventure! We will definitely be back!!
Having eaten at a number of bbq places and being disappointed this one did not. Had the chopped sandwich and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Ive been through Cleburne many times and never found this place until now. Glad I did, itll be on my lunch stop from now on.
The best pulled pork sandwich, Todd the owner suggested Carolina style with chopped coleslaw. Could not eat any other way. I have made this at least once a week place to stop for lunch. Thank you for the amazing food & service.
I am going to have to be completely honest about this place, the food was OK. I came in today which was a Friday. I really wanted some ribs, so I asked for a 2 meat plate. Ribs and Sausage please. Well they dont sell ribs on Friday. Sad day for me. So I settled for some Brisket and sausage. He asked me if I wanted it lean or wet. Which is a very good question to ask about Brisket. I told him I wanted it wet. So he fixed me up. I got Mac & Cheez and Coleslaw for the sides and I requested extra onions for eatin.(I love stinky breath after BBQThe total came out to about $17 bucks and I threw in a 3 dollar tip. So 20 bucks after the food, drink, and tip. A little steep, but what the hay, I wanted some BBQ. I cracked open my plate and took a piece of sausage out and ate it. It wasnt good. (at all). I dont know if it made in house or not. The Brisket on the other hand was very good. Thats the only reason I didnt give it one star. The Mac was in a package that she had warmed up in the microwave.(I like home made Mac.Now the Coleslaw..............This was, in fact, the poorest excuse of slaw EVER. It look as it was put in a food processor before the sauce was added and processed until a fine powder then the sauce was mixed in and put back into a food processor again for a second time before serving. I dont particularly enjoy BBQ sauce on my meat but I did try it on the Brisket. It compliments the meat very well. Perfect parts tangy and sweet. The only reason I will come back to this place is for the Brisket. Its a shame for the other stuff had to ruin my experience here. To the owner I am sorry. The people are friendly and nice. The Brisket was awesome. The rest is way below par.
Got the brown bag special. Enough chop beef on 1 sandwich to make 2 or 3 sandwiches! Meat is juicy, sauce tastes great & the price was right! Thanks for the great eats!
I have been all around Texas. But this by far is the best BBQ I have had the pleasure of enjoying. The sweet lady who runs it has has mastered the art. Waitress and customer service was awesome.
Had it for the first time today. I ordered the two meat platter with sliced beef and smoked polish sausage. It was excellent. The beef was good and juicy and I requested the burnt ends left on, which I love. The sausage was just how I like it. The portions were good size, the tea was great, the deviled eggs were good. I will be back for sure.
The bbq brisquet plate with 2 sides was an okay portion. The bbq sandwich with 2 sides plate is too small. It didnt help that the potato salad tasted store bought and the pinto beans needed flavor and sugar. When I choose to eat out I want mouthwatering delicious food. I really dont mind paying for great bbq $11-$15 a plate but I wish I hadnt paid so much for something I couldnt finish (not due to large portions). I didnt try the dessert it just didnt look inviting.Overall I would say the brisquet is the only thing to go back for.
I had the 1 meat plate...brisket, potato salad and cole slaw. The meat was too dry for my personal liking but we were there right before closing so it may be better for lunch. My husband had the 3 meat plate with cole slaw and beans. He enjoyed his food.
Best brisket (without tons of fat), potato salad and Cole slaw ever. For dessert, get the peach cobbler. No one does a peach cobbler like they do. All round best place to go for food.
