good food, only lacto-ovo-vegetarian, but im drunk. local microbrewery beers, thumbs up.

Unfortunately the food is not worth the price. But the waitress was very nice and accommodating.

Service food and atmosphere were very good.Hope to return here one day.

Food was gross, mojito was absolutely disgusting with twigs in it and watery just gross. Fries tasted like they were cooked with sour oil. Sandwich was an oily mess. 0-5 do not recommend.

Coming back from one of our excursions this was a half way point. Was recommended by a few people so we dropped in.It was happy hour so we each ordered a drink.Ordered a calamari appetizer which was solid. Why don’t they serve the tent i Le anymore? That’s the best part.My wife had the seafood curry which was delicious and sweet.I was craving the Filet de Boeuf Fourme which always New Zealand Filet Mignon with a Roquefort type cheese melted on top.Service was good and super friendly. Kitchen was fast and food was very good.Would recommend.

Great location right downtown. Good food, better specials, and amazing happy hour! Free wifi wwith a strong signal which is a plus and surprisingly hard to find here. Mahi w vanilla sauce is delicious

On Wednesdays, the plat du jour is couscous royal and it is excellent. The owner of this very friendly bistro near the waterfront is from North Africa and that experience shows in the high quality and taste of the couscous. There are many other options on the menu, so if couscous isn’t interesting to you, you have other good options. The “spicy” sauce for the couscous isn’t spicy by any stretch of the imagination, but the savory flavors of the sauce complement the dish.Also, you pay your bill at the main bar next to the espresso machine. (FYI - Service is not included on the bill, the culture here doesn’t really embrace tipping - unlike in the US or the EU).

Great food spot in Pape’ete! They offer a ton of food options so you’re bound to find something you like. The only problem is… You’re going to have a hard time choosing your cocktail or your dessert, because so many of them look so good! Great retro music playlist, chill vibe, and great service.

Went here during COVID and this place was great. They had an awesome 90s Rock Alternative cover band and it was even happy hour on a Saturday evening!

The steak is amazing, service even more so, would highly recommend!

Great restaurant with high selection of liquors, and of course the Hinano beer on draft. Reataurant In-front of the Marina... cant go wrong with this place!

Nice place for a cocktail and a snack. French fries were pretty solid. There is LARGE smoking section, if thats your thing.

Reasonable priced food and drinks right in the centre of town.

Decent location for lunch. Open later than other places after 3pm. Food was only ok. Service was very good. Its a little close to the road so its noisy and air quality was very poor and noisy. Doubt I would return but after 3pm its slim pickings.

Hey I liked this place! They take visa and USA dollars and our waitress was a lot of fun! I felt like a local and not a customer.Beer was cold ! Oh ya the popcorn is free

Prime location to have a drink on Papeete harbor. Price are not cheap but the same as everywhere. I know this area for 20 years too bad theres no more night life. Food is good for local and French dishes inside a room with AC.

In a weeks time we went to Le Retro seven times. Absolutely love the wait staff, their spirit of Polynesia, the variety of live entertainment, the people watching and interesting menu.

Nice restaurant with great view of the ocean. Service was a little inconsistent but that is the norm in Tahiti. We sat outdoors, very sidewalk cafe chic. Excellent food and time. Very enjoyable.

Best smoked mahi-mahi Ive ever had in my life! Friendly service (in both French and English), amazing and spacious outdoor patio seating, and right across the street from the water. Also, their sorbet is great, and their cocktails are awesome as well.

A great Cafe/Restaurant in the traditional French flavour. Served the true style of café, with the Polynesian heart... My partner tried the Tarte Tartin and was surprised and pleased from the size, taste and homemade look of the dish, huge slices of Apple, well glazed and caramilezed. The staff very friendly, and while we sat inside, you could see patrons sitting out under the awning enjoying the refreshing misting system.

Good music, decent food, drinks were a little heavy on the alcohol to soda ratio but still delicious. Severs weren’t the best and I feel if we didn’t have someone who knew some of the workers we wouldn’t have been severed as well but good times!

Place was nice to sit outside with mister to keep you 😎. Ordered Grilled Tuna, Rice, veggies. It came with a basalmic base chopped veggie sauce. It was very good on the Tuna/Rice. Tuna was a little over cooked for my liking, but still 👍. Also had Pasta with a Canadian style bacon. Creamy Sauce on pasta made the dish. Also had 2 (eachiced coffees. Service was great and very pleasant. It offset the pricey Bill of $73...a little pricey for lunch! If I had a choice to go here again...mmm...probably not.
