Great cafe with jummy treats

Left feeling very disappointed.I ordered crepes and a sandwich.There was only one crepe which was cold and flavourless. The best part about it was the Nutella and whipped cream.The sandwich was very bland.I wish we had gone somewhere else for breakfast.

Was a busy cafe friendly

Lovely friendly service, and delicious hot drinks and cabinet food. Very pretty little cafe.

Great food and coffee

Bread was burnt, smashed avo was half tomato and wasnt stated in menu. One of us asked for a side of hash browns and got given 1 tiny hash brown. We also paid $5 for a side of bacon and were given 3 pieces which is a rip off. 3 of us got poched eggs which were hard boiled and not runny at all. The only thing that was nice was the coffee. Only ate the food as i was starving and had low blood sugar levels.Super disappointed in the money spent here 😪 hopefully the kitchen staff can sort this out for future customers.

My 12 year old daughter said it was the best brownie ever...great coffee and lemon cake 🎂

spotted this French influenced cafe driving by so thought Id check it out while in TGA for day.. food in cabinets looked good and well presented... both sweet and savoury.. went with classic ham & cheese bagette also couple ginger crunch slices to go.. service good.. came across genuine.. would return. 👍

Burnt coffees.Truly awful Eggs Benedicts with industrial strength crusty bread and a flavourless wodge of tepid poached Salmon.No Hollandaise.Clearly zero care given.I wish I could also give zero stars to reflect their effort.

Every time Im in Tauranga I come here and have the crepes. Honestly everything looks delicious but I always choose the crepes.

Has this cafe changed hands? Been here many times before and it has been great but bought lunch today and my sandwich tasted stale with very dry stale bread and limp black lettuce. Wondered if it was fresh made today. Cake was fine but I had to ask for cream to go with other desert to go. Person serving wore mask below their nose and two people were retrieving a selection of single frozen uncooked pastries from the freezer with their bare hands.

Quick service had the creamy chicken and mushroom crepes, delicious.

Gave our dog a bowl of water without being asked for it. Lovely service

Coffee was burnt which gave it a bitter taste, and probably the worst eggs Benny Ive had in this town. Partner had a breakfast and the beans looked if they had been reheated 20 plus times... seriously. Dont bother

Do not waste your time and money at this place. We ordered 2 salmon Benedicts and a sandwich for our son. Half way through waiting they decided only to then to let us know that they didnt have ciabatta bread and gave us a choice of white or seed (one of us is allergic to seedswith no sorry or a drink to make up for the bread that costs them much less that we paid for(unacceptable as we could have ordered their cheap sandwiches). Out comes the inedible food (non of us except my husband who was starving could finish the meal). My sons sandwich which he barely touched was too sweet, our eggs Benedict with smoked salmon came with a conglomeration of unseasoned poached salmon that was removed from the fridge and never warmed up. Gross! This was the most disappointing meal we have had in a very long time! We were not about to waste our time complaining in house, we will just never return. I see someone else below with a very similar experience and instead of the restaurant taking it as constructive criticism they decide to be rude in their response and continue to serve fridge cold unseasoned poached salmon.

Had coffee there today with some very good friends. Very pleasant quiet and service was good although the coffees took a bit longer than expected.Reasonably priced and coffee good flavour.

Food and service both wer top notch. New barista in the house on to it.. well Done 2 entire team

Visited today and the coffee is lovely and the food even more so. Gutted we dont have this Cafe in Wellington - my favourite Cafe here. Staff are friendly and prices are reasonable for the high quality of food.

As I m from Belgium and I speak French. This place was kind meant to be. This bakery cafe looks very nice with good pastries and coffees.

Yummy food, good strong coffee. A little more expensive than others , but worth it.

Good croissants and OK cabinet food but uninspiring interior with no ambionce. Unfortunately its probably the best of the cafes close-by.

Not going to lie, we only tried this place because we were out shopping at the time & it was close.Glad we did however, as the Staff were absolutely lovely & the food tasted just like homemade - the ginger kiss in particular was Devine!The coffee decorations were the icing on the cake!

2nd time eating here and I love it. Great food, exceptional staff, will be back often.

Excellent coffee, food and lovely atmosphere

I can highly recommend Le Petit we had brunch there with friends today. The coffee/food/service was excellent, my Omelette was superb. One of our party had filled role from the cabinet which they highly rated.

Good cafe with variety of options to try. Quality is good and the service is also good. Hot drinks are priced best and the taste is better than other cafes. Overall good cafe !!

Good place nice staff but my cake was like a rubber and coffee wasn’t the best. But definitely good menu food!

THEY STAYED OPEN FOR US!I was looking for a special place to take my wife out for coffee. We were hungry. We were thisty. It was late in the afternoon, around 3.20.They were almost closed had packed up. The shop was supposed to close at 3.30.We walked in and were warmly welcomed straight away!The staff there bent over backwards and gave us a meal straight away and told us not to hurry and enjoy ourselves.Soon another person came in asking for coffeeAnd then another, and then another!The place was full!We finished our meal on time, enjoyed the atmosphere, loved the coffee!We dont know what the they finally shut as we headed off but a real credit to the lovely staff at the café.Guess where we will be having coffee again? Our new favourite place.! Top marks!

Great food, good price, very nice staff who kindly put my lunch in the oven while I walked my screaming 10 week old. Point off for over extracted tinge to the coffee. But will be coming back again for a second attempt on the coffee, as I really liked the place.
