Classic light fare & organic breads fill out the menu at this rustic-chic bakery/cafe chain.
Super friendly and efficient staff, good food. Good atmosphere. Went there twicce on 1 day (breakfast and lunch).
Breakfast option was good.
Very nice & cosy place right across the Churchill cinema. Friendly, english speaking stuff. They offer some tasty vegan dishes, we ordered the "vegan lunch", which is actually a sandwich and pretty overpriced (15 €). But it was really good, so was the coffee. We would go there again.
The food was overall standard. I had ate on the franchise in other cities and I liked more. The staff was super friendly and speak English, good service and the place was packed at breakfast/brunch time.
Good food and coffee and friendly service. Pricy but not mind blowing.
Vegan options !
Merci.
Good brunch and environment. They provide Wi-Fi to costumers, strongly recommend it!
Needed to use qr code to register and find a menu, which is a nuisance and not relaxing. Also started to pack up well before closing time. But coffee was fine
Cute place
Room for improvementBut this is not about the very friendly service...Its about the food. The Espresso: too thin and really not tasty. The Croissant: good dough, baked too compact. Not delicious. The "tartelette citron", good taste but baked less well. Table was stabilized with what looked like used paper handkerchieves. Which did not make me feel more comfortable. So my impression was: good ideas, good concept, good people, not so good food preparation, generally room for improvement, especially since the prices are not low.
Nice location. Excellent food. Athmosphere appreciated.
Good food as always, but the service is so slow... My girlfriend had to finish her meal while I havent received mine.I dont know who is the boss but putting one student outside when the place is crowded, its completely ineffective...Moreover when the old employee started yelling at the student for something it wasnt her fault, it was quite awkward. I mean that its the first time the service is sh*t at a Pain Quotidien. I worked for years in a cafe and there a lot of room for improvement here...
Good was really good, but the waiting times were simply too long. And even after a ‘warning’ of 30 minutes waiting time, better over deliver in stead of keep us waiting for another extra 20 minutes.
I had a fantastic bowl of porridge, my boyfriend ate an awesome slice of bread with avocado. Also the cappuccino with soy milk was extremely delicious, I guess real baristas work here. I definitely recommend to have a meal here. Furthermore the vegan dishes or options are perfectly labelled - makes ist easier for erveryone :). I loved it :).
Good food. Nice strawberry cake
After visiting a few times, I see there is nothing exceptional. Its quite basic now. Looks good, concept bio but taste was nothing wow. Staff is always making mistakes and it takes always for long, for a simple egg to cook. Very old salade,no fresh.
Worst cappuccino I’ve ever had
Nice place, good food, perfect for breakfast. Sometimes staff is too stressed (I ordered an egg and the rest of my meal was already finished when they brought me the egg after two friendly reminders. Also, they forgot my fruit salad ( it wasnt even mentioned on the order). They are very friendly though, so it must be some stress or the lack of experience.
Ive been here twice. One visit (on a weekday, fairly early in the morningI would have given it a 4 or even 5 star review - friendly staff, good food served quickly. Unfortunately I also visited on a weekend, a visit so awful it has made me want to never return. It was busy, but thats no excuse for the terrible experience we had. Firstly, the service was unbelievably slow, and they didnt bring some parts of our order. Second, when I asked whether we could have our coffees, which still hadnt arrived after about an hours wait, the waitress was incredibly rude - and still didnt bring them! Third, my brother has a very severe peanut allergy, so he checked the menu carefully for any sign of peanuts, as he always does, and ordered food that made no mention of peanuts. And yet when his food arrived he asked me to test it because it looked like it contained peanuts - which it did! We couldnt believe it. We live in the UK, where any foods containing common allergens are clearly marked - especially after several recent high-profile deaths. I am especially surprised as this is a large chain. I hope they take note of this before they cause someone to get very ill, or even worse...
very good but not cheap
Belgian food is amazing but all of it is rather heavy. This place offers very healthy meals that wont slow down the rest of your visit. Its really tasty for sure but a bit too expensive in my opinion.
Chain cafe/patisserie, safe but just about it. One misses the actual experience, but at least it is not Starbucks or MacDonalds.
It really was a lovely bakery/cafe. The people that worked there are extremely nice, and the food was really, really good. They also have a lot of organic and natural products, and they offer soy & amandel milk instead of cow milk in your coffee. If you want to order one of their cakes and eat it in the store, the price is higher than to take it away though.Overall it was a really great experience, Im definitely coming back.
Average, price/quality is not the best. Cappucino is just bad, automate brew.
Super nice place, fresh regional food. A lot of vegan options on the menu. Delicious juices and good bread. Always good to come back!
As any other Pain Quotidien; chill waking-up brunch
Dont order a large cappuccino. They serve it in a massive soup bowl with no handles.Food and hot drinks are amazing apart from that. Defo a great lunch spot.
Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere. Recommended!
Great, comfortable and cosy place to start your day with a fulfilling breakfast
Very Nice place to have breakfast or brunch. Its a bit expensive but the café is beautiful and warm. Open on sunday and public holiday!
Quality food, bit expensive
Very expensive (way too muchbut very exquisite food!
Very good to go for lunch but a bit expensive
A well placed cafe and bakery. Very nice staff, a great choice of beverages and snacks. Nice choice of breakfasts. Convenient opening hours. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
Bad service. Every. Time.
The interior is lovely but the service is (at least it was for me when I went there aloneway too slow and the prices are too high.
Nice and cozy but excessive prices
Great sandwich & delicious hot chocolat!
Had a breakfast there. The "Manhattan" was tasty, especially salmon + ricotta.
Great for a breakfast or an afternoon coffee!
