Le Jardin d'Eau - in Agadir, Morocco
Alright place, good service, alright food, not too expensive, price quality wise I give 4 stars just dont expect fine dining. Also possible to have a beer or some wine here.Overall good for some lunch or dinner, especially in this area of Agadir.
Love this restaurant. Always visit when in Agadir. Never disappointed. Great food & lovely staff.
I feel really bad writing a 1 star review. There could be a good bunch of people working here and maybe I was just unlucky on the night. But, my goodness, this is the worst food Ive had for a very long time. The beef carpaccio was freezing cold. Not chilled as it should be, but freezing, leaving the meat void of any and all flavour. Though from what little taste I could squeeze out of it by warming it up in my mouth, Im not sure this carpaccio was of the finest beef cuts. Perhaps this was an ambitious starter for a French restaurant in Agadir.I also ordered the steak rare - the waitress gave me a look when I ordered this like ashed never heard of anyone ordering rare steak before, or bshe knew how unsafe a rare steak would be at this particular restaurant - neither explanation flooded me with confidence. The steak then met all expectation. That is to say it was barely edible. Ive honestly had better steak in a Wetherspoons. At face value, this is probably a 2, maybe 3 star restaurant at best, but considering we Googled "best restaurants in Agadir" and this came up top, and given the sheer number of 5 star reviews its had, its got to lose a ton of credibility by falling short of expectation by orders of magnitude. Either theres some dodgy Google reviewing happening, I had an unlucky night or peoples standards are pretty low. In any case, not going back here ever again. On balance, my fiance did say the pasta was ok, so theres that.
Had an amazing dinner! Great food, great dessert and awesome service with super friendly waiters. The best part of all was the live music. Incredible singer! Thought it wasnt live and from Spotify until we saw her! Incredible voiceHighly recommend for the price
Delicious food, great service.
Delicious food and great atmosphere
Delicious, great tea and big plates :D
Beautiful place people and food you can smoke inside
Take a look at my pictures 😂😂
Not recommended. Bad food and nothing special about the place.
Best restaurant in Agadir! We visited here three times and absolutely loved it! The service was amazing! The food was delicious. We had prawns, fish, steak, fish platter, lobster... everything was delicious. Our favourites were the prawn and avocado starter, fish platter main and chocolate mousse. So so good!! The local singer made a great relaxed atmosphere too! We cannot wait to return !
COVID, borders closed, so very calm. Not all available what is on the menu, but what was served in quantity of what was available compensated for that. Excellent service. We had a good meal for a decent price.
Excellent food and service! Really tasty, with fresh ingredients. The amount per serving is decent. And the small water garden is lovely!
The atmosphere was of this place is great. The staff was friendly and tried to accommodate English speakers the best they could. The food was terrific I had the 7 hour braised lamb and the meat was super tender. I followed it up with some tea and molten chocolate cake with ice cream, which was delicious. If youre in the Agadir area, give this place a try.
Great restaurant. Lovely staff, good food and a Mediterranean atmosphere, with live music.Liked it so much we went twice. As a veggie, managed to get a tasty meal both times.Definitely best restaurant in the area.
Nice atmosphere. Very attentive staff. Slow cooked lamb is fantastic, tasty, rich and tender.
Pleasant ambiance, wonderful staff, food was amazing!
Fantastic lamb tagine, beautiful decor, relaxed atmosphere. Best creme brulé Ive ever eaten.
Tagine was not the best. If you have Tagine made in the village, it is way better than restaurants. Mini fillits were good with mushroom sauce. Flies are annoying. But decent food.
The greatest restaurant in Agadir and amazing food! You can enjoy youre night next-door on salsa club. All the best for them!
Terrible service. Would give 0 if I could. To keep it short: whilst the restaraunt may look good I must say that the service is horrendous. Our simple order of chicken pasta took around 45 mins to arrive. We were in a massive rush and when asking the waiter if he knew how long it would take his response was "we are not McDonalds, we are a restaurant".Also worth nothing that I could hear the staff gossiping about us regarding our ethnicity.Overall: a disgrace.
Lovely food. I especially recommend the lamb cooked for 7 hours - the taste was divine, best lamb I have ever tasted and the sauce was extraordinary. Chicken and Couscous tagines were also very tasty. The chicken was coming off the bone. The lighting however was a little bit too dark and the service wasn’t up to the standard of such a nice restaurant. The waiter was lovely however he walked up to an eating customer and pointed at his food to show us an item off of the menu. However I definitely recommend this place. Get here fast however as the first time we tried to eat, they were out of food and we had to come back the next day.
Great food great atmosphere beautiful setting the food was delicious.Theres a great water feature in cente of the restraint.
Price was reasonable and food was good too.Service was excellent ! We visit here as a family with a baby and it was pretty comfortable !I recommend this restaurant. :)
We ate at all of the suggested top end and local restaurants over a week in Agadir. This pace ranked as the best, very good quality food - had the most amazing Tagine one evening to a rib-steak another and it was cooked to perefection, served with an awesome pepper sauce. The chef knows his ingredients and how to put them together.
The service was nice, the rib steak was a bit chewy, but overall it was good.
Nice upper end restaurant, if a bit expensive for Agadir. Great service, atmosphere and food. Tried the Dakhla oysters and the 7 hour lamb with Moroccan wine.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good morocan specialities but odd smelling fish. Average prices.
Great service, and very good food.
Great food and big portions. Ate the vegetarian couscous and me being the doubter of vegetarian and an avid meat eater, I was pleasantly surprised and so full that I had to do 2 hours of idle sitting before doing anything
A warm pub . With wonderful musicVery relaxing place
The restaurant staff was very welcoming especially Habiba, the best lamb tagine in Agadir with organic vegetables. GREAT PLACE TO EAT OUT!
Beautiful place for dinner.. Food was excellent service outstanding. Yes I can recommend it..
Lovely setting, friendly and informative staff, as well as brilliant food. Not cheap, but worth it. Be sure to get the lobster and prawn!Restaurant was empty when we arrived, but got busier into the evening.
Went there last night 20/09/18Fantastic food,& great serviceThe John Dory Fish was very tasty, & the vegetables cooked to perfection. Will visit again while we are here.Very reasonable prices also .
One of the best meals in Agadir, and at a good price.
Lovely staff. The steak with pepper sauce is really good.As well as being a great restaurant it is a good place stop and have a night cap and plan the next days adventures.
Average place and average quality food. The singer had a very clean voice though. We ate couscous royale, it was ok. The house wine is very bad, i suggest you order sth else. Expect 200+ Mad per person.
Lovely chicken cous cous. For me the best in Agadir.Relaxing place with nice features. Friendly staff.I go during day when not too busy and get good service.
Best food Ive had in my two days in Morocco. The Chicken couscous is exactly would you would want when trying Moroccan food.
Ate here last night based on TripAdvisor reviews and its close to our hotel. Fantastic experience from start to finish. Service was excellent, food was fantastic. Price range is very good. This is a quality place to eat, relaxed, informal but as good as anywhere you will eat.. Not just in Agadir.
Ive been there only once so far. However I wont be coming back because I found the stuff to be a bit grumpy and careless about the customers. We had to wait in front of the restaurant a few minutes before we were given a table. There was some nice music on that night however was quite noisy to hear everything. Also they serve very small portions which you will have to wait for ages although the presentation and food was good. Sadly as I said before the stuff and the lack of English is a bit of a letdown.
Delicious food and really good service with tables around a log fire. Recommend the citron chicken tagine. The mint tea is also incredible (although comes with lots of sugar in it so mention if you want it without). You can also get wine and beer here if you wish (the local red wine is niceand on occasion have live music (a bloke doing Phil Collins covers - seriously!). Theres a bar next door too with pool and tapas (it seems like a separate venue but is joined). Have a look outside for set menu deals - I missed this on my first time but on the second got a three course meal (sardines, chicken cous cous and creme bruleefor 85 dirhams. The creme brulee was the nicest Ive ever had.
Nice and cosy atmosphere, super friendly staff and live music singer. Food is ok, higher va average prices vs rest of agadir
Great food, especially the fish soup and marinated salmon. Good wines at democratic prices. Nice water garden and friendly staff.
Rude and hostile staff, average food. Shamelessly tried to fix the bill to get a few dirhams more. Terrible experience.اكل سيء و خدمه اسوء
so far during our 7day stay in Agadir by far the best dinner weve had. Great carpaccio, excellent filet de boeuf and amazing moelleux and pannacotta. i can recommend this restaurant with confidence.
Unfortunately very disappointing... the food was defenetily not worth the high price. My boyfriend ordered the menu of the day and I took a mixed salad and a fishsoup. First we had to wait very long for our Dinner even though the Restaurant was not full. The food wasnt served in an appealing way and did not taste good either. The fish soup smelled disgusting. Well the Dessert was okay at least. All in all not worth the money. Only the Service was okay. The next day my boyfriend got sick
Food was delicious! Cosy atmosphere and Nice touche with the live singing! We had a great time here!
Great food with a successful mixture of local and international dishes. Service is outstanding and very professional. Nice, cozy atmosphere. Dishes are well prepared. I have returned many times.
