Le Fournil in Sligeach

Patissier con gran variedad de productos. La tienda es pequeña y no tiene espacio dentro para tomarse nada, pero cuenta con terraza exterior. También sirven una pequeña variedad de bebidas. Me pedí un croissant para llevar y estaba delicioso, crujiente por fuera y tierno por dentro.

Sausage rolls are great - the pastry puff is truly flaky, buttery, wonderful. Cappuccino was lovely.White loaf is wonderful as-is and also toasted. Made for great avo toast with egg at home.Macarons are standard flavors and taste.Florentine was a bit bitter and I usually enjoy darker chocolate. Even the fruit didnt sweetened it up.Bit pricey. Was there about a half hour before closing but felt rushed by staff to make choices and move along.

My Daughter gave some corn bread made by Le Journal and I must say that it is very tasty.....It traveled very well to Dublin! I will try out some pastries when in Sligo again!

If you are looking for a delicious bakery look no further.This French bakery has it all. From danishes to croissants, from savory to sweet, and dont forget the coffee! This place has it figured out.

Lovely shop and nice lady who served us but the cakes just dont seem fresh and are not nice unfortunately. Tried the lemon cake which was very dry and we didnt even eat it.

Someone had brought us pastries selection from this bakery. From Sligo to Dublin. It was the best pastries I have ever tasted in Ireland, so far! Theyre not sickening sweet or bland! Now, I think I have to drive up to Sligo to get my hands full of them!!

Lovely place to sit outside in the sunshine. You can almost believe your in France. Amazing selection of French bread and pastries. Very small seating area inside. Great coffee

Came across by luck and were we lucky the snack was great, fresh 🍞 nice tea coffee and friendly service. Will most definitely stop by here the next time. The little street with a busker at one end is so cute.

So, you’re in Sligo and want to have a coffee in an indigenous bakery (as opposed to a bland chainand you stroll into Le Fournil.The breads & cakes are outstanding and there are chairs outside in case the sun shines!!You will not be disappointed.

Friendly, relaxed and amazingly delicious cakes. A good guide to the quality of the chocolates and cakes is to look up to the high shelves to the extensive range of of well used books on chocolate and cake making. Its clear Le Fournil are experts and you certainly wont be disappointed.

We were waiting in the line, and a costumer skipped the queue in front of everyone and the staff didnt do anything. Moreover, the same customer started touching all the doughnuts to see if they were fresh, and the staff didnt do anything either.

Top quality french bakery and treats, oh and the coffee is A1 too 😀
