Had a lovely take out dinner from Le Chevalier d’Or. I can’t speak French, so they patiently brought me an English menus from inside. I’ll post images of the English menu for my fellow monolingual travellers from North America. The food was very delicious, and well prepared. We enjoyed the beef chow mein, and some veggie fried rice. 10/10 would recommend!

Nous y avons très bien mangé. Les plats que nous avons pris étaient tous très bons : nems, chevrettes aigre douce, chevrettes au sel, bœuf braisé, riz cantonais…

Les plats sont excellents. Il faudrait juste revoir les tarifs à la baisse un petit peu. Les prix sont de moins en moins abordable. L’endroit est bien connu et souvent plein en soirée.

Great restaurant. The cashew chicken was really great. Service was very fast and efficient. Portion sizes were just about right. We liked it so much we went back the next night

We were a party of 7 (first time for myselffor dinner there. The food was good. I won’t deny that. But the service was disappointing. The restaurant was busy so the service was rushed at this point. The interaction with our waitresses was weird. The first one who took our order was rude and defensive. The second one was a little more cooperative but still annoyed whenever we ordered something. Welcomed was absolutely not the feeling I had there.Having worked in a restaurant, I believe courtesy is crucial. No matter how busy the restaurant, the staff should always treat all guests with respect. Keep it friendly, no matter how busy it gets.

Très bonne cuisine chinoise avec les plats incontournables comme le riz cheval dor, le calamar au poivre et sel et le boeuf braisé un régal. .. tamaa maitai !!!
