Le Cèdre - Lebanese restaurant in Zürich (Kreis 4), Switzerland
Nice place, but for Halal food they have only one option.
Great place and delicious food!
Good quality meal but really slow customer service!
High quality food 😋Nice environmentRecommended
Very friendly staff, big menu with variety of options :)
Delicious and most probably the best Lebanese food in town. Moreover, it is the only place in Zürich where you can get an authentic Lebanese shawarma! Also has a great menu for an authentic Lebanese brunch!
Food was expensive but it was completely bland.no customers service at all.we have to call couple of time to the waiter for the order.after waiting for the order we thought food must be tasty but when we try their food no flavours at all only we enjoy the fresh orange juice. guys improve the quality of the food and service otherwise why people wants to come in your place thank you
Excelent food, great service and a vivid atmosphere. We booked for dinner thanks to a recommendation about their evening service. We couldn’t be more happy about the good! We ordered a menu for 2 + an addition of Kafta and garlic-lemon potatoes. Defiantly not-so-small dishes as it looks in the pictures. Freshly prepared with same day local ingredients an extravagance of the most traditional Lebanese specialities. Absolutely amazing place to explore a grand variety of Mezze that worths the price. Top quality service given the high attendance during peak hour. Also an interesting white wine selection from Lebanon, mostly fruity Chardonnay. It’s a culinary journey that to enjoy.
Excellent ambiance and food. Generous portions and reasonable prices for Zurich. The service was very fast.It is not quite authentic Lebanese food; the toum was yogurt-based, more like a garlicky labneh. They can accommodate food allergies, including gluten, and they have vegetarian and vegan options.
Best lebanese restaurant in town, its food taste is even better than many of the lebanese restaurants in Lebanon.Good job guys
Went there to have dinner. Waited for about 25 mins to get the menu. After we ordered I asked about the waiting time she said I don’t know! Maybe 10-15-20-30 minutes when it’s ready then it’s ready. The food arrived cold, asked 3 different people to attend us but no luck. Asked for ketchup and the waiter said okay sure I’ll get it for you and until now I didn’t get my ketchup.
Nice location to enjoy good Lebanese food. Price faire and quality and quandity for a lunch mezze. I would highly recommend
Excellent service and good food.
It was good , the food is testy and the staff was great 👍, but it’s too hot inside 🥹
Great food. Good service !
Excellent and clean restaurant, the decorations are beautiful and the food is excellent, but the place is hot and there is no air conditioning
Slow service and food was a bit too salty. Other than that very good.
Authentic and delicious Lebanese food. Friendly staff.
Bad food…. Bad service…. Waste of time and money.
Always a delight to eat there. Very quick and efficient service. You feel welcomed the moment you enter the restaurant. Highly recommended.
The food was good, but not great. It was a bit too salty for my taste. The staff was great and provided good explanations for the food. I would go back to try other dishes from the menu. I always liked the delivered food we got from Cedre.
Authentic Lebanese schawerma & kofta. Prices are more expensive than similar restaurants, but worth it.
Really good Libanese food. Weve been going to their restaurants 10 years.
After reading so many good reviews we thought we would try this place. As I am myself Lebanese I was disappointed with the food. The main was just 2 skewers of chicken and yougurt labneh sauce which was very runny and no bread on the base as discriped by the waiter. The only dessert was ice cream or baclalva nothing else on the menu was available. We had the baclava , they where cold and tasteless. Normal they are filled with pistachios but it was like spot the nut it was more like crushed peanuts on a uncoked pastry. I would not recommend this restaurant
Amazing colors, fantastic hospitality and a swirl of hummus, eggplant mousse, grilled meat and vegetables. I recommend a plateau of fresh fruit for dessert, for an even more colorful ending.
Very well accomplished. Delicious food. Everything is well done, from starters to main dishes. 100% recommended
Excellent food, minimal waiting time for food, friendly staff....and the salad was amazing infact everything. Definetly recommending
The best Lebanese restaurant in Switzerland. Get most experience in Le Cèdre. Le Cedre home food delivery offer best quality and service. Worth trying...
Exelent!!!! Story of this Restaurant it s very interessant! If you could know the Boss and how they started in Switzerland, maybe you will find yourself too like I did.
The food is authentic and super delicious. One star less because two waiters would decrease the time to order hopefully.
They have the best shaorma in town here, but the other dishes i’ve tried were delicious too. Very large portions and also reasonably priced. The location is small and pretty
Pretty okay service, food taste okay . Not bad not good . It’s a perfect spot for Sunday afternoon . I will be back ! 😊
Great authentic Lebanese food. The dishes are delicious and very large. The prices are moderate for Zürich. The location is great, close to the main train station and the shopping district.
I am not really knowledgeable about Lebanese food, but what I know is that I really liked the food here. The mezze plates (baba ganoush, spicy sausages and falafelwere spot on and well prepared. Main dish to share was the shawarma with veal and beef - Quite distinct and exotic taste. Quite a few choices of Lebanese wine, also by the glass. Friendly and efficient servers. Would go again.
Brilliant food Service is acceptable
Fabulous food and great service. We enjoyed the lunch Mezze for 2 and they made alterations to accommodate no gluten/dairy and everything was delicious.
Falafel sandwich and vegan sandwich are to die for, some of my favourite quick foods in Zürich. The things Ive tried in the restaurant were also amazing.
One of the best restaurants in Zurich in a $$$ value, definitely the best libanese restaurant Ive ever been in Switzerland. The staff is super kind and you can make special wishes. To go is also possible. Recommended! Thank you guys
Having spent a lot of time in Lebanon, my expectations on Lebanese food are very high. Le Cèdre never fails to meet my expectations. I am a regular customer and hope to come again often.
I love it! And also very tasty for take away 😋
I love the food in this place, it never disappoints, the herbal teas are the best
We ordered the Mezze paradise which retails at about 75 chf for two persons, for 6 dishes. The food was absolutely delicious. Best falafels I have ever had. While the food was quite amazing, the portion sizes were small and not in justification of the price.
We liked all of the food, the Mezze are very good and exactly how they should be.The service though could not convince. They were friendly, but didnt take good care of us. If we needed anything it took them a long time to show up at our table.Next time I would go with Take Away.
Libanese food is the best arabic cousine and never disappoints! Delicious grilled meat with a variety of mezze. I was missing kunafe as a desert which is an absolute must! Hope next time.
Nice place, very good libanese food, friendly staff
We booked a table last min and they told us we can have the table from 7-8pm. When we arrived it was super busy. The service team never made us feel unwelcome or rushed. They were so nice, we felt relaxed even though the place was buzzing on a Friday night. Food was great, flavorful. Well done team 👍🏼
Visit : Evenings / Dinner / couple / Friends / Family and for businessThe restaurant has 3 branches from memory. This being the latest location to open and closer to the Zurich business / bank area than the others but offering a pretty decent selection and quality that can be easily sharedStaff have on each visit been very friendly and welcoming including for some of our fussy choices.Wine selection is mainly all from the Lebanon region and with something to suit most tastes but fitting the foodMenu wise we have found it to be one of the better choices in Zurich for cost / decor / food quality and would easily use here for a venue with clients that are after lite and shared plates rather than the stuffy / fussy and old fashioned single plate for each person euro style .....Each visit we tend to keep it less formal and go with the high tables that are not typically were people sit to dine as we find the restaurant space not so relaxing for our style of slower eatingPhotos show our usual orders and bites and we have not had any issues so far and would probably choose this as our "go to" location if looking for relaxed shared bites and drinks ..... clients, couple or with friends / family
The best Lebanese restaurant chain in town. Each branch also serves a variety of the marination for some of the plates, or serves different ones entirely. Highly recommend to try each branch before deciding on your favorite one :)
Amazing food with very authentic Lebanese flavor. Super friendly staff , great ambiance, really worth the money and the visit! Thank you so much!
New restaurant based on their established Zürich franchise. We ate lunch and took the shawarma menu which was tasty and well thought with a good portion.Efficient and good value for money.
