Le Bistro in Lombok

Fine experience. Friendly staff and the food was good.Nothing special beyond that - a bit messy with wet hair dripping over the food from the staff.

Love this place! My wife and I have enjoyed it everytime. They went out of their way to find/borrow a high-chair for our 7month old, served us with excellence, and the Tuna Steak was so yummy! <3

Great place with a good selection out of the ordinary on the island. Unfortunately the coffee machine was broken so I couldnt get a decent espresso that I was longing for.Great icecream too! Service was fine but not really up to the ordinary frisky Indonesian hospitality weve enjoyed at most places.

Went with 6 other friends for dinners and all our meals were very tasty 😍Dont forget to try the brownie, its just amazing 💕

Every food we had ( summer rolls, nasi goreng and chicken Currytasted like nothing. No salt, no spices it was unfortunately just boring.The chicken skewers for the nasi goreng were still raw. We still had to pay them.Expensive and low quality :(

Terrible. We ordered wedges and this is what we got... I mean, really? The vietnamese rolls were bland and tasteless. Setting is nice but thats about all. Super expensive compared to everywhere else, plus a hidden service charge. Go elsewhere - much better places on the island.

Staff and decor were nice, and prices were above average for the area (80-130k for mainsso we had good expectations. The food presented to us looked good but unfortunately was bland and completely lacking in taste. My wife ordered a tuna and shrimp platter and the food arrived cold. I ordered the Asian chicken burger, which was just ok. We also ate at Mexican Kitchen next door which we felt offered much better value.

Incredible tuna! Honestly, the best tataki Ive had! Drinks are incredible too, the best cocktails on the island. The view is beautiful, the start is kind. What more could you want? A must have on Gili Air!

A total gem. Cute ambient lighting and beautiful ocean view. Food was delicious. I had the Indonesian tempeh veggie burger. 10/10.

Beautiful food, highly recommend if staying on the Island. We had the crispy potato wedges, Vietnamese spring rolls and the tuna steak and we couldnt fault a thing. One of the best meals we had on the island and for such a reasonable price. Would definitely go back!

Amazing beef burger, ravioli, brownies and chocolate crepe! Everything is homemade!Probably the best restaurant on the island.

Food could have been nice if it would have been at least warm. Both mains were served cold. Got different ice creams than ordered.Last but not least, sold us the happy hour as ”buy 2 get 1 free”, when it came to payment, only the 3rd drink was free. But even cocktail number 4 was different than ordered.Every course had an issue and we left quite frustrated after an argument with the waiters. There wasnt even an offer to compensate the mistakes.Not worth the high price.

Main was served cold, ordered ice cream hasnt been served correctly, happy hour for cocktails was explain incorrectly with buy one get one free which wasnt the case as you must order 2 cocktails for getting one free. This was sold to us differently.It could be a nice place however every course had an serving issue.

Great location, nice set-up and delicious food from a French Chef (western as well as local dishes), nice and helpful waiters and an owner who stops by at every table for a chat and makes sure you feel welcomed and everythings alright! Highly recommended!

Excellent Food. Everything was great. I recommend you to take the tuna tartare and homemade ice cream. Mike the owner is always around and very nice with the clients. Best restaurant in Gili Air!

Took us an hour to get our meal (refresher salad, a summer salad roll and vegetable curry), even though the restaurant was only serving two pther tables. This was the longest time I have ever waited for a salad roll. On top of that the food was nothing to brag about, bland and barely edible, and this is after being ravenous from waiting so long for our food.

We went here our first night in Gili Air. Recommended by our hotel but it was not a good experienceI have a gluten allergy and, upon viewing the menu, I asked the waiter (who discussed with the chefif the Mahi Mahi steak was available gluten free. I was assured that it was and that I could choose my side dishes between fries and crispy potatoes. The waiter enthusiastically recommended the crispy potatoes, which I then ordered.We waited over 40mins for the food, however the restaurant was not busy and those that arrived after us receive their food before us.When my plate arrived, the crispy potatoes seemed to be coated in breadcrumbs and therefore would NOT be gluten free. I tried to ask to the waiter again but he didn’t seem to understand, so eventually another waiter came over to confirm that yes the potatoes were NOT gluten free. :( They did bring out some fries immediately, however I was unable to eat half of the food due to the breadcrumbs.My boyfriends burger was not nice at all, and he left half due to the poor quality of the burger patty. In the end we left quickly, disappointed and hungry.Definitely NOT recommended for anyone with allergies as they cannot be catered for reliably.

Delicious and thoughtfully prepared food at reasonable prices. Large Portions. Not to mention friendly attentive service and great views!

Great food and some of the better service on Gili Air, right by the sea with the waves tipping over the deck on a high tide. A choice of tables styles, but solid Indonesian cooking is the key here. Loved the fish curry, and chef knocked up a super hot, fresh chilli sambal for an extra kick for me.

Very good quality food, surely the best of the island!

Great service, everyone is smiling and food is good, coconut Gelato and tuna tartar salad were really good.

Cocktails were not that great, but the staff is enthusiastic and the food was nice.

Delicious food. Not the cheepest meal youll find but definitely worth the price. Tried several things it was all great.

Nice view. In the evening you can sit under the stars...There are always lot of people, so you need to wait, but its not a fast food.Grilled fish is great and it is a huge set. Nice drinks.Resto accepts credit card (additional 4%), which is not so obvious in Gilis restos.Prices a bit higher then somewhere else, but maybe portions are bigger... Did not check yet

We tried the Mie Goreng and Ocean pasta and both dishes were really tasty and perfectly cooked. Certainly, a place to come back.

I tried the other restaurants but this one was my favourite, good Staff and very good food at a good price. I will be going back to the Le Bistro when I return to Gili Air.

Food portions are small. I tried the burgers. Very bland taste. They rip you off on the cocktails, especially happy hour. Good views here, but most restaurants have a good view.

A bit overlooked from the mass of other offerings but definitely worth a visit. Good friendly service and very good food. Ask the barman to do a magic trick.

Foods are great, I tried ocean pasta, burger, sandwich and creep. All of them are very tasty... The staffs here are friendly...Good foods with beach view, anything else can be better than this ?
