Food was ok at best. ate it only cause I was hungry 😞 I had came in around 2. When I was still eating someone else came and asked if they had the lunch special and waiter said no, it was only on weekends, another man came out and told that Person they could do the lunch special , but when it came time for me to pay, I paid full price and wasn’t given the lunch special like the person that came 20 mins after did. Lol I was shook . I guess they just pick and choose who can get it? oh well, definitely expected a little more for the price. Was kinda left to myself while everyone else was being attended to. Wasn’t offered water and my food came out before the Thai tea ever came. Thai tea was just thrown together. Paid $26.05 for pad Thai and a Thai tea. Definitely was not worth it. Especially when the person that came after me was given the lunch special price. a little upsetting but it’s fine.

I couldnt really eat much off the menu because or food allergies but let me tell you! The orange chicken was a delight. I believe they make the sauce for each order because it was so hot and fress that the extra sauce i had on the plate i just smothered my white rice into it. I tasted like a blend of sweet and sour sauce and a zesty orange flavor.

Probably the worst bowl of Pho Ive ever had. The broth lacked flavor and tasted like it came out of a can. I added a star for my my wifes chicken dish which was good but way overpriced. Service was friendly, however the wait time for our food in a nearly empty restaurant was excessive.

I’ve lived in cities all over the world, and I have visited many, many other cities - multiple times. And I’ve had Thai food in essentially all of them. This is probably the best Thai food I’ve had, and I would never make that comment lightly. What’s more, the food we had was home delivered. Extraordinarily good! Congratulations to this family run restaurant! Keep doing what you’re doing.

Missed this restaurant so much. Been away 2 years. Filled up on appetizers and delicious asparagus and lobster soup. Fresh egg rolls, stuffed chicken legs, etc. Plum wine too. Next time I want one of their Curry entrees, sooo good .Loved the decor and the neighborly vibes

This is my absolute favorite Thai restaurant in the valley. Make no mistake Thai food is one of my favorites so its definitely a treat for myself or with company whenever I get to eat at this restaurant.Oni (pronounced O-Knee , and Im not sure if I spelled that right eitheris a very attentive and charming waiter. I havent been here in about 3 years and when I stopped in the other day he still remembered me which of course feels great. In a nutshell the service is stellar. The food is absolutely fantastic. Theres so much flavor in these dishes I wouldnt even know where to begin. Honestly I love Thai food as I previously mentioned and while there are some good Thai restaurants in the valley, this place just seems to take those extra steps that reward the palate with uncompromising flavor and texture.I can honestly say Ive never had a bad dish here, not even close.Whether youre in the mood to have one of your Thai favorites or try something new I highly recommend this restaurant whether its just a lunch or dinner for yourself, a very nice date, or if you want to hang out with some friends this place has the atmosphere which can provide all of the above.Cheers & Bon Appetit!

We LIVE for the fresh rolls, dipped in their delectable peanut sauce mixed with their INCOMPARABLE house-roasted chile paste (trust me, NO one elses is worthy!). Ive never deviated from the phenomenally delicious Asian eggplant, sometimes with shrimp (always cooked to plump perfection), often without, but always eggplant (Im the type who tries something else and, if its good, fine, but who is SO remorseful if it isnt as good as my tried-and-true fave). My husbands favorites are wide-ranging, but hes always very pleased. They cook everything with pride of ownership -- and that says it all.

Over all really poor experience. Ordered over the phone and our order was incorrect and was troublesome to amend. Staff did not want to correct. Food was cold once we finally received the correct order. Later in the night felt extremely sick in my stomach as well. Would not recommend.

Seriously a very good experience. Staff was perfect. What I mean is the following…They politely checked on me while I was on the phone. Provided an appropriate amount of time for me to read the menu. When I stressed I had not been here before and was not sure what to choose, I was greeted with a few questions and provided options.Food was served promptly, however not too fast after my order as to say, we made your meal fresh not provide you something that was already prepared.Portion was healthy but no need for a box.It was closing time and I did not feel the pressure to leave. I didn’t even realize it was closing time actually. In my opinion one of my best nonchalant, accidental experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. I have spent the night in 46 states and 7 countries and I will be back here.

Nice Thai Restaurant being my first visit I wasnt sure what to expect. I ordered a Thai Coffee and it was refreshingly different. I then had Panga Curry (sp?and was disappointed how bland it was, but I failed to request medium spicy. The curry had a fair amount of chicken, I counted 2 or 3 pieces of bell pepper. I couldnt recommend this dish.Ill go back and try it again to be fair.

Food is delicious!! Nice, quiet little place... The only reason its not 5 stars is because you have to flag someone down to order. The wait staff doesnt check on the tables enough.

It has been quite awhile since I have had salmon this tender and finely seasoned. An excellent choice for anyone who enjoys a high quality seafood entrée. The ambience was refreshingly quiet, and I could actually carry on a conversation without having to raise my voice to compete with all the other tables around us. I appreciate the fact that outdoor dining is back, but the number of people who are just trying to feel normal again by eating out seems to be greatly increased. This eatery was far removed from the crowds of El Paso and is well worth the money. Very well pleased!

Possibly the BEST Southeast Asian dining in the Valley! The owners are always nice and the service is great! Ive tried yellow curry at well over two dozen Asian restaurants across the country and Le Basil has some of the best yellow curry Ive ever eaten! This is one of my top 3 choices for restaurants and the entire desert.

WOW. I the old location in redlands was our go to Thai place and we were so sad to see it close. But we finally were able to make it out to palm desert and get takeout from le basil here. We were not disappointed! Even with all the memories and hype from our memories of the old le basil, it exceeded expectations. To start, the fresh rolls are incredible. The lettuce is crisp and everything tastes fresh. The peanut dipping sauce is incredible and complements it perfectly. Highly recommend! (We got ours with tofu instead of shrimp)We got both the panang and yellow curry with fresh tofu and they were both incredible. I prefer the brown rice to the white rice at least here. The brown rice has more substance and is more of an heirloom/wild rice compared to traditional brown. The curries were both smooth and great consistencies. Not watery at allAll the noodles we got were yummy, but the pad Thai in particular stole the show. It was saucy, flavorful and tasted great. The pad see ew is a classic and was lived by everyone. The spicy noodles (pad kee mao/drunken noodleswere good but definitely took a step back from the other two. Not because they were bad but because the rest was just so good!Super excited to know le basil is still doing what it does best. Highly recommend!!

We picked up for dinner for tonight and we will have enough for tomorrow! Every item was absolutely delicious and the best we’ve ever had. Just the right amount of seasonings, spice, and not greasy. We had chicken in caramel sauce, Pad Thai, mixed vegetables, and green chicken curry with brown and white rice. Incredible dinner. 🙏 Thank you.

The ambiance is very subtle I love the lamps and lightning when you are in this place you can not tell the time it seems is night and the menu has a variety of delighted Thai food i have tried the shrimp coconut soup , they bring you a big pot which is lighted up with candle fire in the center to keep it warm is good for sharing up to three people or if you are hungry you can have it all!!: the Pad Thai is garnished with cilantro peanut butter dressing and the meat of your choice and the noodles are made of brown rice . The food is fresh and the service is good I would recommend this place for lunch or dinner you don t need reservation the time I have been there I just walk in

Service was phenomenal, food came out fast and tasted authentic, and would definitely come back. Im not from around the desert and thought it would be hard to find good Thai food here, but this restaurant really surprised me. I would say its even better than some of the top Thai restaurants in Los Angeles and Orange counties.

This place knows you want delicious fresh amazing food and that is precisely what is served. Absolutely top food prep and quality in the desert, if youre looking for the BEST thai food, here it is. Expect a perfect blend of flavors, perfectly prepared noodles and soups etc... this place goes above and beyond my expectations. All employees know all to know about spice too so if youre a spice fan, prepare to enjoy yourself. See my photo of the ultra spelicey fish sauce which had salty soaked peppers with ultra heat... along with a 4 pepper sauce platter to add to your food as desired. Outstandingly fresh brewed thai tea with or without creamer... I cant say enough good things about this place.Pad Thai: perfection. Plenty of protein, not unproportionate. See my photos for the curry and hot sour soup as well, all really high level flavorful deliciousness. ENJOY

The food is very fresh. I had the spicy noodles and theyre very saucy. I asked for 7/10 level of spiciness, which is my usual at other places. This was much hotter than I expected. It would have been nice to get water refills without asking. No other complaints.

First time here. Small but comfy vibe. I was seated by the same person who also served me. She was friendly. Food is reasonably priced. I had the Lo Mein and these noodles were not Lo Mein. It was kind of bland. This is the only dish I can review and Im sure there are many good ones here I have yet to try. So would I revisit? Not sure. Would I recommend? Yes if you really dont know the difference.

Hands down my favorite Thai restaurant anywhere. Everything we ordered was flavorful, with fresh, delicious ingredients. Service was friendly and prompt, and, as if it couldnt get any better, theyve now added Vietnamese dishes to the menu. Worth the minutes extra search at the back of the shopping complex. Just go!

Very interesting decor, with a mix of traditional asian art and modern day furniture. Very comfortable feel. Looked to be a nice small bar as well. The food was fantastic. I got the shrimp green curry, but switched out the shrimp with tofu (vegan). It was top notch curry, perfect level of spice (7 out of 10 spice levelwith good tasting tofu and veggies. Our servers were very friendly. Definitely want to go back for more.

Fantastic place. Lovely ambience. Impeccably service. Incredible food. We split the Money Bag appetizer. It was delicious and light, crispy bag shaped filled with diced chicken and carrots. My husband got spicy chicken and loved it. I got the vermicelli noodles with beef and lemon. So much detail put into the food and flavors. My new favorite restaurant in Palm Springs.

absolutely love this place have been going there for about 4 years now and it never fails. Their pad thai is full of flavor, their orange chicken is absolutely delightful and freshly made to order. I cant go without having a small house salad as their peanut dressing is to die for. All their food is full of flavor cant ever go wrong. Customer service is always great and very kind. Atmosphere is very mellow and relaxing.

I used to love this place but yesterday would probably be my last.... poor service... took 20 minutes for water and for waiter to get our order.... Seafood fried rice was small in amount than before and tasted like too much oil... halibut was so small and wasnt cooked the way it used to be. The owner knows me by name and face and I ll be thinking for a long time before I go back. Not worth the money. Its ok to be expensive but show service and quality. You just lost me and my wife.
