Lazeez - Indian restaurant in Macclesfield, United Kingdom
Absolutely fantastic, service brilliant and the food wow amazing. 5 star place to eat in macc. Lamb chops and nan mmmmmmmm
Best curry we have ever had - and we love Indian food! The chicken tikka masala was just wonderful, you could taste the coconut sauce. The naan was so fresh and it was all great value for money. Lovely staff that were great with the kids. Just such a nice place they I wish we had nearer home! I’d be there every week… so maybe just as well!!
My partner and I visited Lazeez this evening. We hadnt planned to come here, had just walked past by chance but I am so glad we did! The food was absolutely beautiful, by far the nicest Korma Ive ever had! The restaurant was very clean and very cosy. The service we had from every staff member we spoke to was above and beyond and really made us feel special whilst we were celebrating my partners birthday. Truly one of the nicest restaurant experiences Ive ever had. Would 100% recommend and we will definitely be back if we are ever in the area.
The Lazeez is never going to win any awards, but having said that it will never disappoint either. Have been going there for a few years now and I can say that their food is probably not the best in Macclesfield, but it is certainly the most consistent. I have never had a bad dish and the fact I keep going back speaks volumes. I always find the service to be very good as well which helps. It also seems to be increasing in popularity as it has been getting busier recently, maybe due to the expanded menu
Best Indian meal in a long time!
This is one of the best Indian Restaurants I have eaten at. I had a lamb dish, and it really was tender lamb and not mutton. They do cheap deals early evening, but we were too late for that deal.So impressed with the quality of the food and cleanliness of the place.A fantastic experience.
Great Food, loved the set menu, very fresh and fragrant food
This is an excellent restaurant that do delicious food. They really take care of their guests and their food is consistently delicious.I have eaten here several times and have had a small event catered by them. My guests absolutely raved about the food, with several saying that they will eat here if theyre back in Macclesfield.I recommend the Grannys Handi chicken curry, it tastes exactly like a traditional home cooked bengali curry.
Excellent food. We will be back again.
Absolutely discussed that this is the shami Kebab that turned out to be £8.95 bugers with no bun. When contacted Lazeez said they are already in Manchester call back tomorrow.
Lovely place, food was nice, unfortunately they cover the sheek kebab with some extremely spicy sauce which ruined the starter, and didnt really try and fix the situation, staff were pleasant, maybe I just caught them.on a bad day
Great food. Especially tender meat quality ingredients make quality dishes.
Cant fault the service or the food we had a really good time
Yet another very good Indian restaurant, some unusual dishes and the traditional dishes, they have an early bird menu for £12.99 which I believe is very good value though we did not choose that on our visit yesterday 1/5/22, good service, plenty of space, comfortable seating, eating Indian/Nepalese/ Bangladeshi/ keralan, etc food is seen as no more than a spicy option BUT if you have been there then you will know how the food should taste its not all about chillies its flavours and this restaurant and one other in MACCLESFIELD has nailed it, so to reduce this down definitely try Lazeez Sunderland St
Good fast freindly service tasty food. Great deal £12.95 before a set time.
Delicious food, great service - thank you 🙏
Wonderful food, excellent service and the prices were brilliant, cant wait to go back
Very nice offer. I will back again.
Top Experience! Staff are very professional and friendly. Food is out of this earth delicious. I am a regular customer since 2010. Never looked anywhere else!
Having used this restaurant on many occasions and not been let down I thought I would order again only this time my Mixed starter came up well short of expectation with some of the described contents missing and as fo the chicken tikka vindaloo and garlic rice most of that ended up in the bin unedible and all for the princely sum £23.00 Needless to say I wont be ordering again from this establishment.
How do these work out prices its always over what it should be .I wont be using you again disgusting not a way to get repeat custom is it ??
Very lovely food, well looked after, enjoyed our meals. Great choice and value
Went for a group meal (18 peopleand the service was top notch. Everyone received their food at the same time for each course, no waiting around, and was very tasty. The service was excellent by all staff members. Easy to work with and would definitely recommend. Thank you!
Always a nice evening in this place. Food is excellent. Surroundings and mood lighting is top draw.
Food quality was great. We were in a party of 25 and they could not cater for this size. Food took over 30 minutes from 1st main being brought out to the final one!
Avoid at all cost, horrible place and Same goes for the standard of food, when I complained I was told that the main chef is isolating and the food was prepared by the side chef. Was given a complimentary veg dish which was just as bad.
They were unable to turn the lights on in the toilets while we were there. We had to use our phones when we wanted to go. Food was good though.
Had a lovely meal here yesterday. Fab service and great to be able to find somewhere to eat which catered for allergies!
Good choice of meals and drinks. Generous portion sizes. The meals were full of flavour, and plenty of tasty options for vegetarians. Excellent service. Highly recommended. 😊
Really good food there last week. Great service. No parking but its town centre, so you have expect that.
Excellent service fabulous food, love visiting here ,its been a regular for years .Staff are very welcoming.
Having travelled to macc for a party I thought lezeez food was very good however I did not enjoy getting covered in beer of a new waiter I got covered head to toe I did not get an apology or anything ps I went for the early bird but and payed full price so why advertise it if your not going to stick to your promise so 2.5 stars from me but unfortunately I cannot do half stars
Very disappointing.Have been a few times before & enjoyed it but tonight they were clearly over booking & not reducing numbers under the new regulations. Far too many people allowed in the restaurant at the same time. Also when we ordered coffee they told us we had to have it in the lounge area as our table was booked for 7.30. If wed ordered starters, mains & deserts we would have out on the street before coffee arrived!I think the eat out to help out is great for local businesses but unfortunately feel Lazeez are taking advantage of it.
First time at Lazeez often walked past thinking how inviting from the frontage, it was definitely worth the wait great interior design with an holiday like feel when sat down, all the staff were so pleasant and food absolutely fantastic well balanced and a great fusion of flavours will definitely go again highly recommend this restaurant
Ordered on just eat, was over an hour late. When we called to ask we were told, hes short staffed and its raining. Then the absolute nugget hung up on us.No idea what the food is like as if it ever turns up Ill prob have wasted away.Wont be using again.Cocky attitudes were enough on there own.UPDATE..FOOD ARRIVED STONE COLD, PERSON ON THE PHONE DIDNT CARE. JUST SHOURED ABUSE AT US.I HOPE THE PLACE HAS AN REALLY UNFORTUNATE ACCIDENT.
The food was nice and fresh. The service was fast and really good and the staff were really helpful. Highly Recommend.
This so called restaurant served the most disgusting slops, masquerading as curry, that I have ever seen in my life. I have cooked curries and eaten across the world, but I still dont know what the hell I and a few of my dining companions attempted to eat. One taste, and we refused to eat any more.False representation as a restaurant, worst chefs ever, and if graded on quality, minus 50 star is about fair. No idea what they are doing !!Surly staff who dont listen to what you order. Really terrible.Worth trying a descent place like The Blue Nile at Hazel Grove. The saying chalk and cheese comes to mindNever in my lifetime again will I ever return.
My friends and I ate at lazeez last night and thouroughly enjoyed the meal. The portions are not huge but ample enough and the quality of the food was great. It was a delicious meal and the nicest pashwari naan I have ever eaten and the rice was really tasty. We were given a £5 voucher each and will definitely be returning soon.Jane Viktoria and June
The first time we visited and ate in the restaurant and it was beautiful. We havent had an opportunity to go back lately, and my partner has just been diagnosed with arthritis in her hip, so we decided to get delivery. I had a Chicken Lasani Manchura with garlic pilau rice. The chicken was very tender and succulent and the vegetables and sauce were just the right amount of spicy. My partner had a chicken tikka masala with egg fried rice and was surprised at how coconutty it tasted, and she really enjoyed it. Lazeez do the best Indian food in Macclesfield and I would highly recommend them if you want to taste good food.
absolutely amazing place with very good food ... very friendly serving....if you go find something special go there....love it
Just had a takeaway meal with a mixed starter and chicken tikka masala rice and nan. The starters were soggy and very greasy and just aired the onion bhaji was the worst I have ever had. The chicken tikka masala tasted just like a Korma but red and had split all you could tasted was coconut. I do not normally give reviews but I was so disappointed with my meal.i will not be going here again.
Lovely restaurant. Great food and service. Large and spacious great for groups but also good for an intimate night. There is a public car park opposite Lazeez and the restaurant is located close to Macclesfield center. The staff are superb and are very welcoming.
We go in here about once a week. The boss is a lovely guy and the staff are great too. Unquestionably top drawer Indian food enjoyed with some great people. What more could you ask for?
I live in London. Visit Cheshire 3 or 4 times a year. Always travel to this Indian restaurant. It is top quality and one of the two best Indian restaurants Ive ever been In. Amazing lamb tikka jalfrezi. Top marks.lovely staff. Ive been in over 100 Indian restaurants in my 50 odd years on this planet. This is as good as it gets.
Excellent food and quick and friendly service! They even went out of their way when they found out (just by over hearing our conversationsit was my birthday... as we were about to ask for the bill, one of the waiters bought out icecream for me with a sparkler in it and put some birthday music on the stereo for me... A* for an amazing night
Excellent restaurant with friendly staff! The food is outstanding and the price is right!Youll be amazed you never came here before and you will make this place your favourite Indian in no time.
One of the best Indians in Macclesfield. Has a varied menu and a good selection of vegetarian options that arent just an after thought. My only complaint is that the seasonal vegetable curry contained paneer. Paneer isnt a vegetable IMO.
Fantastic meal, really friendly service, which we have found hard to come by, in other Indian restaurants recently. Lovely meal from start to finish! Definitely recommended!
It was our first visit but the waiters treated us like old friends. We started with spicy popodums with accompaniments, a great start. The tamarind chutney is super. Mains were full of fresh flavour. Nan was perfectly fluffy. Overall, a great experience.
Where to start? Lazeez is by far the best Indian Ive been too, eaten here a few times now, in house and takeaways and theyve all been brilliant.Mo and the staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. And the food is ahead of all Indian meals Ive had in Macclesfield or anywhere for that matter. If youre eating in before 7pm the £9.99 menu is an absolute steal for what you get. Will be back again soon.
