Lava Lanes Bend in Bend

I like lava lanes a lot but bring back cosmic bowling or at least update the website. It’s been misleading cosmic bowling lovers for almost 3 years!!!!!

So appreciate doing special Olympics there 😁👍!!

The karaoke was awesome. The bartenders were super nice. It was an overall good scene

Very nice bowling alley. We had a birthday party in a separate room that had 7 lanes in it. Great area to let kids bowl and run crazy.The staff was very friendly. The whole facility was very clean.

Probably go once or twice a week and always have a good time

Bowling, food, beer, bar, private bowling lanes, small arcade....What more could you ask for?

The prices are very fair and affordable. Its only 6 per person for 1 game. The place is also well cleaned and maintained. I prefer bowling here over bowling at the family fun center in bend because lava lanes does not have e any technology problems and there lanes are smoth.

Staff was pleasant, prices were fine, the building seemed clean.

The place is great, clean and a great place to bowl. Though, every time I go, the staff leaves a lot to be desired. Kindness, professionalism and customer service arent on the priority list for the employees but if you just move through it swiftly as if you were checking in and out with a robot, its doable.

Bowling was fun but overpriced. Food was overpriced and awful.

10 out of 10 must try again the workers were awesome especially the worker with short blond hair thanks for being amazing

This was the second time bowling here, for me. I found oil on the lanes, that was very good. I was greeted with a very friendly desk personel. A very clean business, colorful lights through out the building. I will return.

The new arcade is awesome! Every employee went above and beyond our expectations. The karaoke (Fri-Satwas fun to watch and had a great vibe. Tons of good video poker (5 - 6 machines with new & classic games), Shuffleboard in the bar was super fun & only 50 cents for 15 points. Good times 👍

Bowled 3 games and drank a beer. Had fun and the staff was friendly. Food wasn’t bad either! I’ll be back for sure :)

This place is amazing! Great bowling alley including bumpers for kids, but also a really nice sports bar worth visiting unrelated to bowling! Well be back, even if just for the sports bar!

This bar is a joke. I make it known that Im there for basketball and the bar tender replaces 1st Saturday of March Madness with NASCAR on the big screen (because I reminded her someone asked for it). No basketball now. But Seinfeld is on. Im polite thinking this a mistake. Bartender asks me if I want anything and I reply, "Can we get basketball back?" Nothing changes in the following ten minutes as I finish my only beer. Maybe it was a mistake. But nonetheless, I felt completely invisible/insulted. Seinfeld matters more than sports here. Epic FAIL. (Not just slamming here, I shared this story with the young manager on my way out.)

Do not waste your time!! Most ridiculous place to have a birthday!! Video games are over priced and broken! The lane we were playing on kept breaking every other frame! Food is horrible, lanes are horrible & there are plenty of other places to go in Bend, Oregon!

Kids had a great time woth the games. And the bowling was a great time. I really liked the bar to keep me from getting thirsty. The food was quick.

I think that your prices are a little to high but the place was very clean and everyone was very nice and I would come back, but I do think that your prices are way to high and if they where a little bit lower then maybe you would have more Customers.

DO NOT ORDER THE CARDBOARD OVERPRICED PIZZA!Lane 7 is not shaped properly.I came here with my family for a good night. The manager with dark hair and glasses is who checked us in. She was so rude it was ridiculous. She kept mumbling then getting annoyed we couldnt hear her. She was one of those women who acts dismissive and rude to people to show off in front of others. Very childish behavior. Then I heard her talking to another customer by us about us because she had to come help my son. I couldnt believe it. She continued to be rude the few other times we interacted with her.We ordered the supposedly fresh made pizzas. They were $5 FROZEN PIECE OF CARDBOARD that was all cracked all over the bottom. Over $20 for a 12 inch pizza not 15 inches like advertised. So disgusting my kids wouldnt even finish their pieces.Then we tried out the arcade when we were done... Well the air hockey you had to punch for the puck to come down. You think when your game isnt working that maybe you stopped swiped wrong. So via my 9 yearold we put 3 credits in before I noticed it wasnt working. They wouldnt refund the credits and said wed just need to play all the games. Then when another game just didnt work it took almost 20 minutes and them helping numerous other people who came after us.The only redeeming thing was the nice tall blonde young man who helped us at the end of the night. He was very polite and had a great demeanor. Thank you for ending the night a little better than it went.Order only the cheap food.Just bowl and play air hockey. (Dont forget to punch it if the puck isnt coming out)Youll be good.

The arcade is absolutely horrible. The games would either take your coins and not let you play or you could play and no tickets would come out. Pretty good racket they have going

Lava Lanes as a establishment is pretty awesome. The atmosphere is great and the bar is inclusive! However the manager, Tish, was absolutely atrocious. Me and my group of friends came in, and we’re immediately placed on a 45 minute wait, no worries at all, we waited the time. When we returned to play, Tish looked less than happy to see us. As we paid for shoes and lanes we we’re given nothing but snarky remarks from Tish the entire time we payed for our lane. We ended up having a miscommunication about games and players, and our lane was shut off. I decided to respectfully approach her about the confusion but Tish would not even give me the time of day. She was dismissive, rude, and honestly the attitude was repulsive for someone working at a family bowling alley. I understand that miscommunications happen, that was not the issue, it was simply Tish causing the less than adequate bowling experience. This is such a bummer because I really love Lava lanes as a whole, I hope there hiring team can figure out what to do with the wicked witch at the front desk:/

We had a great time. Only bowling alley I have been to that doesnt serve breakfast all day. Thats not the part that bothered me, it bothered me that it is not noted anywhere on the menu or around the restaurant.

We are traveling bowlers. We have bowled at many different bowling alleys and this has been by far the worst experience. They even lost one of our personal balls and wouldn’t give it back to the next day- mind you we are from OUT OF TOWN!For a bowling alley that has a pro shop, and advertises to pro bowlers, this was NOT the experience I hoped for.Pretty disappointed.

Ive always enjoyed bowling no matter where it was at but this place is huge and they had a great bar sports bar got to watch some of my favorite football while playing some poker or video poker but I mean and I saw a guy win almost $5,000 in $1,200 increments it was pretty fantastic and he probably wont remember it he was well over the limit but the bartender was pretty busy probably couldnt have couldnt have known if he wanted to. But were not a bowling with the kids or a night of drinking with the fellows or legales recommended highly lava Lanes Bend.

Always have a blast when I come here. Arcade is fun and who doesnt love bowling. Great bartenders and amazing customer service. In fact I will be there tomorrow.

The staff gave me information in the morning which inspired me to rent private lanes. The evening staff explained that I received incorrect information from the owner and the charges turn out to be more. The evening manager was rude and wouldnt even attempt to hear me out, explain or approach when asked. The bartender was rude and never smiled. She was dismissive and condensing. She interrupted the ONE person that was nice enough to help us. PORTER, now he was awesome!! He smiled through his mask, made my kids birthday a blast (after the manager nearly ruined it), he explained the miscommunication and he did his best to make up for my frustration! PORTER is the only reason we stayed and spent more money.The evening manager blamed the owner and said "Thats the way it is"The owner has never responded to my phone calls!We were just visiting Bend, this was an unfortunate first experience 😕!

It was fun, some of the staff were distant and others were very nice and giving me tips because i am horrible at bowling, however they give you an option to pay 40 for an hour, however each game lasts about an hour atleast with me, so a individual game costs 20, so i would just pay for individual games to be sure. I think the prices are criminal honestly, it feels more like a scam, its BS.

Bowled 5 frames and then our lane went out of order, we waited for almost 25 minutes for help getting our lane back in order. When we asked the manager for a refund, we were only able to receive a partial refund because we had to pay the $5 cover for the shoes. Who comes to a bowling alley and pays to play half a game? We were told “stuff happens” and told to “take it with a grain of salt” after requesting the full refund amount. The two staff employees we spoke to had horrible attitudes and clearly aren’t happy with their job. If looking for a bowling alley, I would recommend going elsewhere.

Well. I mean. Its a bowling alley. Good family fun. Stupidly outrageously priced but they all are anymore. Employees seem engaged, it wasnt filthy. Almost all the house balls were on the lanes because no one was taking care of that. But we had a good time and we would go here again.

Its cool. The food is okay, I suggest eating prior to though. The drinks are cold and reasonably priced. Bowling theres tons of balls to choose from and it seems everytime I go the neighbor bowlers are friendly and encouraging with high fives on your spare or strike.The cosmic bowling rocks! They have it in a separate area that makes u feel like some kinda V.I.P.Further more their karaoke is off the hook with probably the biggest following of good singers Ive ever seen.Youll have fun here for a silly date or the family...

The people that work their are very nice. It was a fun experience. The temperature was extremely warm and there was a poor selection of bowling balls. the bowling shoes were all tore up with rips and tears. The shoes have no support and are not comfortable at all. But again, I have to say the staff was friendly and helpful. That makes the experience much better!

Lava Lanes is like family. They have well-maintained lanes, personable employees, a fun arcade for the kiddos, and awesome summer rates for children to come for free daily. Lava Lanes is a special place that my whole family frequents. Truly a special place.

Super fun place. Nice equipment, clean environment, and the shoes were new looking. The food here is surprisingly great. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. Had a great time!

Never bowled here but if I did Im sure Id crush it... No, I go to bet the ponies here sometimes and to have a brew or two. Food is standard bowling alley fare, not bad, not great. Good bar area though, and the beer selections are excellent.

Tried to go play video lottery, had trouble with my machine pushed cash over $100.00 no ticket came out then i put a 20 in the machine and pushed cash out to see if it was working, bartender said i was trying to rip them off. Food was HORRIBLE would not recommend going here. We will not be back. What a shame especially when you finally see places get to open back up.

I loved going with my family. Visiting bend to see my daughter and mother-in-law and we have a ball 🎳 !!! Clean,brite environment with a top notch kitchen , staff was helpful.. We bowled a few games and had a 💥 BLAST 💥..

Want to have fun with family and friends this is the place. They make thin crust pizza, serve frosty beer, and delicious cheesy chili fries. Awesome idea for little kids to bowl with a kitty rack so they dont hurt their little hands and comfortable bowling shoes while providing sanitizers all around to maintain the fun.

The lanes werent crowded, and the food was amazing. Particularly the sweet chili wings. It was loads of fun, we were in the smaller room off the side right by the bar which was convenient and felt pleasantly secluded without feeling awkwardly cut off

It is a great place to take family and friends all ages. However I feel that if you take your younger children during the weekends and around the evening times you are going to want to keep an extra close eye on them due to the adult crowd that is predominately there at those time slots!I genuinely appreciate the variety of entertainment for people of all ages and genders!I do wish the prices overall at Lava Lanes were more affordable so you that more of us come and enjoy hanging out here more often with our family, friends or other loved ones!

A very fun, clean, and fast place, food orders take hardly anytime, floors are super clean and nice, so as the counters and tables, and the bowling alley are so much fun!It also has a very good price and for 2 games and 3 people is at a really good price! And the service is amazing! Really nice workers and hard workers. Its super fun and its a must visit when in Bend!

Although bowling isn’t as much my thing Lava Lanes has always been pretty nice. It’s kind of just what you’d expect a bowling alley to be like haha. The prices sometimes seem like a lot. Nice service and pretty cleanly as far as I can tell. Bowling is kind of a fun thing to do whether you’re good at it or not, which isn’t the case with most things so whether you’re going to be competitive or just for some laughs it’s a classic “sport.”

Went with group from Church. Rented the 300 Club room. Had a great time! Was surprised by outstanding quality of food offered at snack bar. Had fish (cod!and chips. Delicious! It can get quite loud and crowded out in general bowling area but was surprisingly subdued in 300 Club except for rock videos playing on screens. They were a bit loud. Nice to know there is still a wholesome place to the family! More fun and affordable than a movie and considering youre actually doing something together--well worth the cost.

Joined the free bowling for kids this summer and paid for the family (adultpack as well. The front dest attendant lady wasnt very friendly and acted as if there was an issue with my bowling account saying Im not registered. Signed in again and showed her again, and she seemed as if I was wasting her time. Not to mention we were there only after 30 mins of them opening, so its not like it was busy or she had a huge line of hard customers before we even got to her. Then my husband went to ask a question, she didnt even acknowledge him, but kept talking on the phone (she saw home too). When she got off the phone she acted as if he was bothering her. Only reason I would give this place a 4 instead of 5. The customer service could use a huge up grade. And even tho we got the free bowling for kids and paid 39.99 for the family (adultpackage, its still about $20 for shoes for a family of 5. So just remember the shoe rentals are not free, and you still need to pay for that. Everything else seemed good.

Clean facility, very good pizza, reasonably priced bowling fees. Fun for kids and adults. The only thing we didnt like was the arcade area, where many of the games were not working correctly or didnt pay tickets as they were supposed to.
