Beautiful park for a nice, safe, quiet walk! Our puppy liked it too!!

I play disc golf here and the course is maintained very well.

Great place for adults and kids. They have a play ground for the little ones, walking trails for the family, tennis court, skateboarding area,ponds to watch ducks, and disc golf.

Need more sitting areas near the lake.Would be nice to have more police patrol. Starting to be an influx of loud music and people in the park smoking weed. Very much a conflict when youre having a day at the park with the kids.

It was nice they need more lighting out there

Love this park always clean and protective you can bring your dogs for a walk with no problem

We really enjoy this park. The water the ducks the baseball games and tennis matches.. We love it all!

Spacious, plenty of space for walking and other activities. You wont get your quiet nature fix or anything but its a city park, so what would you expect

It was so peaceful and I love that it have different things to do for my grandchildren. The pond was extremely nice and there were ducks, LOVE IT!!!

Latimer is a pretty place to walk. Very quiet and you can just sit and watch the ducks or walk around the lake or around the whole park. You can watch or join the disc golfers. There is also a park for the kiddos.

We play disc golf here a lot and it’s such a nice park. Great courses to play and such a pretty place!

We have been loving this park since moving to Horn Lake, although we did get locked inside our first time visiting trying to leave at 8pm. Great play area for the kids. The park needs more benches.

Both disc golf courses are wonderful. North course has seen continued improvement and it has become quite nice.

Latimer is a wonderful Park in Horn Lake walking trails plenty of parking soccer baseball disc golf wonderful playground we gave away hot dog lunches and had a wonderful time

Great place overall. They have a hiking trail, tennis court, baseball field, football field, soccer field, frisbee golf, and a skate park that you can see from the road. Had no idea there was so much more to this place until today. However the tiny little playground for your little ones to play on could use some updating. I mean all those activities you can do but theres a park 15 min away that my 5yo had more fun at than this one.

Its a wonderful park me and the family enjoyed ourselves went two days in a row and if its not raining today we will be going again

Nice course. Probably more beautiful when the leaves are on the trees. Open holes are just that, open. Some are too long for my skills. The wooded holes are technical and fun. Tee boxes are well marked but there are no "next tee"signs but with a little deduction, you shouldnt get lost. Some tee pads are older and dont offer a lot of runway, which suits me fine. Baskets 9, 10 and 11 were out of place making it a bit confusing and had to refer to the map. However basket 9 became basket 19 with a little electrical tape (see photos). If I didnt live several states away, Id play this course regularly.Also played the North disc golf course. Longer than its sister course(South). Played the new white baskets. There is another course on top of this one with older baskets. There is a huge need for signage. I played around the ponds which obviously affected my score. Overall enjoyed playing this course.***Update*** After talking to employee at a local disc golf shop, found out that the white baskets at north were just place about two weeks prior to this review. Signage will be in shortly.

The park itself was pretty, even though the leaves had already fallen. We like going to the park with the kids and feed the ducks. But today wasnt nice. Two of the ducks were hurt from fishing line being tied to there legs and wings.

Took my little bro yesterday 3/13/2020 to go play at the park. It was empty and wet but he had fun. I was concerned about the rubber that the playground sits on since theres a large pot hole. But overall Brother had fun. :)

A lot to offer packed into one location. Baseball, football, skateboard, soccer, 3 ponds, walking paths, disc golf, and plenty restrooms! Seems well maintained as well. Our personal favorite is the firework display on July ❤️

Beautiful and clean with a few small lakes scattered throughout the property. Lots of walking trails, my dogs especially love the trails through the woods! So make sure you take your pups, they will have a blast and so will you. And please remember to keep our park beautiful, DO NOT LITTER!!!

Attracts a nice relaxed group of people. Felt comfortable just walking the trails even into the late evening. Its also very clean and the ducks were fun to watch

Always chill & safe with police providing solid presence. Nice siz park with tennis courts baseball fields a skate park, kids slides & swings & a full frisbee course. Wish they offered more festivals & food vendor events on a consistent basis

Went to the frisbee golf course here and it was awesome. Well maintained. Here’s a picture of the map which is pretty accurate. Each hole has an updated map showing where the next hole is too. Really fun course.

A regular place my daughter and I go. They have a great playground for kids and we love the walking trail. It is a little bit of a trip to go to the restroom so dont wait til the last minute. LOL.

The magnolia fest was wonderful. A bit pricey for the amount of rides but well staffed, positive attitudes, and fast service. The park is always a great location, roomie and emergency units om location.

Freshly mowed grass. I play the disc golf courses here and they are pretty good at maintaining.

It was perfect for my 2 year old. This is early spring so it was nice & not crowded. It was also my first time visiting this park after I have driven by it for years & years. We liked it. The geese & ducks are nice to look at.

Trick or Trunk was okay. It just amazes me how the City of HornLake bathrooms are at the public park. Not even fit for a dog to use the restroom. Doors hanging off the restroom stalls. Not one of the toilets worked.We had to leave the event due to how nasty and disgusting the restrooms were. Please fix this issue.

Its the only park besides in hernando where both my kids 8 and 2 years old can play and have fun. It has nature walk play ground ponds wish it had some swings

Very pleasant... I take my niece to the childrens play park regularly, I wish there was more shade and bathrooms closer but overall we always enjoy our time at Larimer lakes park

This park had everything! A pond to fish in period Frisbee golf! Hiking trails. A nice childrens playground and more! Glad it is so close to my granddaughter. They actually found this place by mistake due to a food wagon event that was happening there the weekend before. I wish I had my phrase be with me. It even had plenty of ball fields. Way more than what I expected for any park, especially one this size.

To be a city park, this place is generally well kept. The play area is nice. Theres a tennis court and a HUGE covered patio with several picnic tables. But the bathrooms... stay away.

Beautiful park. Grounds are well kept, and the ground keepers are friendly. I play disc golf here. They have 2 very nice courses. The south course is easier and allot of fun, while the North course is more challenging and a little frustrating, but good for getting better at the sport. The layout of both courses can be a little confusing the first time you play. Overall some of the best disc golf in North West mississippi!

Ive lived in horn lake for most of my life and this park has been here for quite a long part of it. The park is clean and its really appreciated that they keep hosting events. I also use the location to take a lot of photos with clients and friends.

Nice clean park. Had a playground for the kids. Also a frisbee golf course. Couple ponds. Always clean when Ive been there. Lots of parking. Were from the north, so the abundance of lizards kept the kids busy chasing them more than anything else.

The discgolf course is a fun and homey style place. Its just great being outdoors and in nature. Very clean park. Park is able to move around the baskets to add for a good switch up.
