Been here a few times now, best Enchiladas de Camaron!

No waiting, friendly service and reasonable priced good tasting food.

Great food good prices.

I sat at the bar and ordered a top shelf margarita. The bartender poured it out of a gallon jug, which is way to sweet. Ive been to hundreds of Mexican restaurants and they all know what top shelf is. She had no clue what it was. I tried helping her make it, but they had no Cointreau or Grand Marnier.Food was good thou.

Very poor management,i ask for extra salsa they told me that there was a charge for it never heard of such a thing in my life, never go here again who charges for an extra container of salsa to eat with your meal especially when you have chips left, completely ridiculous and uncalled for 😠😠😠😠😠😠😠

This is the best restaurant I have ever ate at. From the waiter to the food, the quality was absolutely incredible with no complaints. The chimichanga with beans and rice was amazing. My kiddos shared the fajitas and brought some home for lunch tomorrow AND my wife got two chicken burritos with beans and rice. All the food was top notch and cooked perfectly. And was under $50. This is BY FAR the best Mexican restaurant around.

It wasnt the best Mexican-American food experience Ive had but not the worst either. The margarita was just ok.Probably wouldnt go by myself again but if with others that want to Id be willing.

Clean plate club for this guy! Unreal meal. Ingredients are top notch, service is excellent….all around great place. Ben, the owner suggested my meal and didn’t let me down.

Got seated immediately. Greeted by our server quickly and given chips and salsa and drink order. Food arrived hot and in a timely manor. Visit was great, service and food was great! Will visit again!

Great customer service and atmosphere as soon as u walk in. We went for the 1st time def will b going again. 1 thing for sure make sure u go hungry bc theyre definitely not stingy on their servings you will either leave full and nap ready or full, to go boxes and nap ready lol.Great prices too

Most authentic Mexican food in the area. Not as spicy as I like but they accommodate for my need for spice. I will miss this restaurant when my work here is done.

The food is usually alright, but its not the best in town to be honest. Only 2 salsas are allowed per table no matter the number of people, and they charge you for more. However, the margaritas are pretty good from what I hear.

They were super busy but got us a table for 7 quickly. Service was fast and food come to the table very promptly. Nice menu choices so there is something for everyone.

Love this Restaurant! The the staff and atmosphere was amazing! I loved my 6 Mares soup was absolutely delicious.

We were in Mason City and in the mood for some Mexican food. Las palamas Mexican restaurant was a great option! My husband got the mixed fajitas and said they were really good. I myself was in the mood for some seafood and got pescata Veracruz. I would highly recommend!

Id heard what a fine place... so a friend & I tried lunch here... service was fine, even quick; free chips and salsa was real good.... the food however was disappointing...lacking of flavor - blah, I gave it a C.And...theyve gone crazy with limited seating and Covid separation - thought I was in Calif.

We were travelling through town and stopped for a quick dinner. Service was fantastic and food was delicious. Very busy place, but moved people through quickly. Food was served hot and servings were large. Try the queso!

I went for the first time for a carry out, portions were a bit small and I order a 10.99 diner plus a Pepsi and was over 16.00 , I think was a bit an the high side for lunch. Friendly atmosphere but no sitting allowed for carry outs.

First and foremost this is NOT a review of the food. Ive eaten there several times and love it every time. Trying to call on a to go order is AWFUL though. Literally tried calling almost 30 times and either got a line busy tone (understandableor it rings until it gets to the line busy tone without being answered. I understand being busy and Im happy for them, but it would be nice to actually be able to order to go.

We got seated right away. Ordered our drinks, and then food quickly. She got the taco and enchilada lunch special and I got the Chile relleno and taco lunch special. Contrary to what the menu states, mine came with a guacamole salad, NOT an avocado salad. As a result, I didnt eat it as their quac is loaded with raw onions which I hate. Basically the food was okay, but the tomato sauce on my relleno was full of tomato skins which arent desirable. Also my whole meal seemed bland. Ive never had a poblano that had that little of flavor before. The location is easy to miss as I think the sign out front is the smallest in Mason City.

Service and food were great! I had the chicken quesadilla. My Mom had the chili relono. We will definitely be back!

Food was good, just a very negative vibe with the atmosphere.Signage screams of " hurry up, eat and get out". Oh...and dont sit here, dont touch the plant.The signs state three drink limit in an hour but it doesnt seem like a good suggestion. I dont think pushing a three drinks within an hour is a healthy thing.Maybe just one sign, somewhere saying thank you or have a nice day.

Food was really good. It was very busy. Our food was hot and delicious. Service was good. The staff was wearing masks and the tables next to us were blocked off. We werent required to wear masks.

Ate there twice in the last couple weeks while Christmas shopping. Salsa and chips are amazing, and I normally NEVER eat them. Shrimp chimi is outstanding. Rice has great flavor! Clean, and fast service. Definitely becoming a favorite! And this is from someone who isnt huge on Mexican food.

Next time dont make the burrito my wife had so big, not a complaint, she said it was very good, could only eat half of it at restaurant, she brought the other half home. She enjoyed it very much.Now my burritos were very good also., Everything was good and fresh. Service was very good. Server was nice and pleasant.By my opinion Las Palmas is best Mexican restaurant in mason city.My wife and I will be eating here again.It was my birthday supper

Honestly, this is my favorite place to eat in Mason City! The food is so so good. The staff has been kind on almost every trip weve been. I love that we can dress up or down, its kinda up to you! Its all reasonably priced too! When asked where I want to eat, this is what I choose!

My family and decided to visit Las Palmas in their newest location. We have not been to their restaurant since they moved down the street. We are so happy we did. I was barely able to tell the conversion of the old Ruby Tuesdays. It was such a wonderful change over. The interior was warm and inviting despite the COVID19 restrictions. The restaurant was immaculately clean. We were warmly greeted by both the hostess and our server. Our young man was awesome. I never did get his name. I ordered the San Diego which was chili rellenos with rice and beans. The chilis were coated lightly and filled with good amounts of queso. The beans were smooth and the flavor was delightful. It brought back memories of eating in small town cafes in NM. The dish was excellent. We also ordered the Tacos De Carne Asada which came as a build your own. The meat had a slightly smoked flavored. It really was multiple layers of flavor. The pico was fresh. I felt it needed a little more onion and heat; however, it was just right for a person that like a little less heat. It came with fresh avocado, beans and other goodies. I would really suggest it. My partner in crime had the Steak mini tacos which had the same meat. You get plenty of meat in the four small 4-5 in" tortillas. They come with grilled onions and a side of Charro beans. The Charro beans were my favorite part of the dish. So many layers of flavor from the beans to the bacon and onion. It supposed to be used as the sauce in the mini taco, I was eating out of the bowl with a spoon. We also had a cheeseburger and an order of mac&cheese for the children. I think they were okay as they were downed pretty quick and I got the normal kid answer of "meh" when I asked them their teenage thoughts 😄. During our entire service, our server was on the spot. His customer service skills were above par despite the fact he was having to wear a face mask and gloves. His service skills are top shelf. I would highly recommend visiting Las Palmas in the near future. I know I will as I want to try everything on the menu. Give it a go. It is off the Chain!!

This place has THE BEST wait staff and hostesses!!! Friendly and fun!!! Not to mention their food...I ordered the pork carnitas and it was not only beautiful but soo delicious!!!

Durango Special & Blue Hawaiian, deelish! It was so good but had to take half of it home, good sized portions. Their prices are reasonable too. The new building is very nice!

Absolutely fabulous meal. Server was very friendly and positive. Food came very warm and LOTS of it. This is the Jalisca Special. absolutely delicious and plenty for lunch tomorrow.
