Lovely old word pub, unchanged for years, pleasant garden area, good beers, well looked after, warm friendly welcome.Not a b&b.

Lovely old school pub. These wonderful places are sadly becoming a thing of the past. Great cheery landlord and a lovely chilled atmosphere from the off. Sat in the big beer garden under a umbrella, as today is a very hot day. Lovely pint of Amstel and a pack of porkies, just what a pub should be like in my eyes. No frills, just about the beer on the pump and a great host. 5***** for me.

Enjoyed a friendly drink with my wife. We sat in the garden.

One of the best heritage pubs in Bath. Walk 🚶‍♂️or catch the bus. Brilliant atmosphere. Wonderful pub. Highly recommended 👌

Great homely atmosphere. Malcolm, the barkeeper is friendly as the staff. Cheap beers and a gorgeous garden. Well recommended.

Turned me away because Im medically exempt from wearing a mask. Didnt believe me. Shocking attitude. I told the staff member I was exempt he told me he didnt care. Just wanted to but a drink and sit in the garden. Felt completely judged and cant help wonder if I was white if I would have been treated like this...

So friendly, traditional and welcoming. Fab staff and a lovely beer garden T.vs for watching sports inside too. Dog friendly.

A really good pub for an evening out. This is a traditional place to have a nice few drinks with friends or family. The beer garden looks great for the summer too. They also have three screens to watch live sport.

You can have a very nice chat.

Was looking for an address in Larkhill, got lost and went in the pug for directions. The staff were so friendly that I went back. The drinks are cheap too, by Bath standards. I also made few friends on the day. What else can you ask for?

Love some elements of this pub, like the olde rough round the edges style, and the large beer garden, and pool table, but if it had better beers and ciders on tap, and was more welcoming (occasional smiles and conversationthen this place would be one of the best pubs in Bath, if not the best.

Fantastic pub, brilliant landlord. Interior decor is traditional and it has a sizeable beer garden. Prices are reasonable and its got a nice atmosphere.

Things have change for the better it used to be cash only they expect cards for payment now about time

This is a typical English pub that hasnt changed in character terms over decades. It is for drinking only and has a good range of beers and cider. There arent many real pubs left. This is one of them. It is also very well run and very well maintained . Give it a try.

Like a lot of pubs used to be and still should be! A good selection of beers and basic but comfortable seating, giving you space to drink and chat. There are a couple of big screens in the bar that were showing a football match but this somehow didnt seem to interfere with the conversation.

A true community pub, good draught beers, lovely cups of tea, friendly staff with a big garden.

Proper old school pub with bar staff to match! If you want to be served by a hipster pretending to be your friend, best stay away. The ale is well kept and it has a lovely garden. Thankfully It hasnt been painted grey, stripped of all character and renamed.

Recently moved into the area and looking for the best pubs to regularly visit - so have sampled all three in local area. Larkhall Inn looked great from appearances and some reviews...unfortunately found the Larkhall Inn very unwelcoming and service unfriendly. Probably great if your a regular who visits every evening. Would recommend the other pubs a lot more.

Old fashioned drinking pub with nice garden. Alas on our last visit the Fosters was stale and the diet Coke, well it certainly wasnt Coke. Will go again, but will be more careful choosing our drinks.

Lovely friendly pub, with spacious beer garden. Always pop in in the evening for a friendly pint and a chat. Great place to watch sport . The Larkhall Inn has a skittle alley and pool table and is a meeting place for the local racing pidgeon club.

A warm welcome for a family reunion, full of character, a proper locals pub with a fab beer garden, there is a history folder available and I found pictures of my family going back over 60 years.

An always-busy traditional local. No food, music or credit cards. A beacon of sanity in a crazy world.
