Langbaai is a small and cozy beach between two huge rocks. It is the perfect spot to hide away from the wind and on high tide you can swim as well as jump from the front rock into the ocean. It is about a 3m jump. The beach is also quite safe as there arent many currents and there is also a lovely stream for the kids to play in.

If you are a surfer, you’ll definitely like this beach, but if not, I can assure you you will like it as well! It’s small, but packed with greatness! Situated between 2 big rocks, the current creates big waves, perfect for surfing. Just beware of the current as it can be very strong on some days. Also note the iconic jumping rock at Langbaai Beach - about a 4 meter jump on most days.

Lovely beach. Beautiful at sunset. Water can be a bit rough and with currents, but if normal care is applied, swimming and body surfing great. Depends on the tides and weather, of course.

It is my favourite spot in Hermanus. I go there every day.

Lovely long (deep is probably the better wordbeach and a great place to bring the little ones with plenty of high quality sand castle building sand.

Ive never reviewd a beach before but this one was so special - very small but with 2 lovely girls doing the lifeguard duties: they even wave you a welcome when you arrive - very special.
