Landwer - Coffee shop in Bayt Jālā, Palestinian Territory
During my stay in Israel I had lunch or dinner in quite a few restaurants. Actually, all of them were good but Landwers in Jerusalems First station was the best. Very kind staff, a beautiful, laid-back and friendly ambience, and - most important - soooo delicious meals. I had a great time there and look forward to coming back anytime in the future.
Very tasty food. Great spot
Great place for a family dinner. Fair price and good service. I recommend the burger and the pastas
Food is well made and the service is very good, coffee is also very good. Its definitely overpriced for some dishes and the menu is very misleading, guess which is from the menu and which one I received.
PriceyMediocre food at bestVery slow service
Absolutely marvellous and perfect
This restaurant is simply perfect for a family dinnerGreat food and affordable pricing
Great experience! Thank you for the great evening!
Awful experience.Freezing cold food, got my order wrong and received my order 30 minutes after the rest of the part of 14 got theirs.Would strongly avoid.
Poor service, the food was cold. Starters came out after main courses and not everyone got their mains at the same time.
Finally I found cappuccino in Jerusalem on the Italian level. cheesecake was very good and the portion was enormous, so it is totally worth it. Also it is open Saturday
Food was delicious and service was good. Enjoyed the location and food options.
Terrible service. Pricy food.Every time I go there I cant understand why Im coming back. Not a lot of options im Jerusalem on a Saturday, and yet, Id rather drive to TLV than eating here.
Food was good, service was a bit slow
The staff are always friendly. The food is good. Note. The owner isnt crazy about people working at the cafe.
Not sure why there are low reviews on this place. We were seated quickly and service was quick enough. The pasta was delicious. We had the sweet potato pasta and the mushroom cream ravioli and both were hits. It was one of the only places open on Saturday evening.
Food was extremely late and my plate (mujadarraarrived cold and tasteless. A few hours later I was violently sick, and I have since been in the bathroom non stop with food poisoning. Avoid!!!
Good and service at the level of the city of cities - and Mirele was super friendly
Menu has changed, good dishes dropped. Dont recommend the salmon club sandwich -not worth the money
Great atmosphere and cold beer. Fries were good for frozen type and chicken sandwich was light on chicken, bread (white pretzel rollfell apart in your hands. Still a nice place if you are not concerned with good food.
Bad serviced and overpriced bad food, the serving was massy, eggs came out 10 minutes before the breakfast served after asking to remake them it took ages to get. The salad wasn’t fresh and very small to the 61nis (21$pricing. Be smart just DONT GO.
I am disappointed with the new vegan breakfast. The English menu still have all the great old stuff that is missing now, like the vegan omelet with carrots and herbs and also granola with amarena in the soya yogurt and eggplant cream. Also no quinoa salad. But the reality is different :( Pls bring back the great omelet made with lentils flour and carrots and herbs!!! And all the rest tasty stuff! When I asked the waiter about it, the supervisor came and told me they never put herbs in the vegan omelet and brought me extra some paisley. It is NOT the same
1. Very pricy2. The food is really fresh and good3. The host at the front is worn-out and unpleasant.
Good place to eat especially after the gym you can get good healthy options such as their tasty grilled chicken breast with rice. They also have very tasty fresh salads.
Ok-ish. Good place to go, if you want to experience average Israeli kitchen from 90s.
Located in the old train station compound in Jerusalem, nice atmosphere, good food service is fare but not more than that
Excellent coffee, friendly service, good food, open on Shabbat
Good food. Great service. Nice atmosphere. For a casual dinner or lunch - it’s perfect
The food was ok at best. Hamburger(4/10had no spices and was brought to me with no sauces and a skimpy amount of vegetables. Goat cheese ravioli(3/10tasted like pizza like the pizza burekas you get at Central Station. We asked for ice and one small cup of ice was brought to be shared between the both of us. Not ok for the hottest week of the year. Appetizer was brought out with the main courses so I dont really get that. Towards the end a waiter had an argument with a customer and it almost turned into WWE the way that waiter yelled, never seen anything like it in a restaurant I hope they fire him. I give 3 stars because the lady that met us at the door was very kind and brought us water for our dog and at the end they were very understanding and didnt charge us for the ravioli so the place has a chance if they make some changes.
Beautiful coffee house with amazing food! The interior is beautiful, the staff is extremely inviting and the vibes are very positive. The place is very family friendly. They have a custom kid’s menu which is also a mini coloring book. They also have pretty nice small presents that your kids can choose from.Food wise, you have a huge range of options: vegan food, Middle East food, Italian, etc. and for dessert, you must order their famous rozalach with their signature coffee.I recommend strongly!
Nice place with some fine dishes, however quite often there are loud and obnoxious shows that can interrupt conversation or just some fine lovely time
The service has improved, the cheese cake was delicious and big enough easily for 2 people, we shared it between 3. The coffees and hot chocolate were fine and the pizza was ok nothing to write home about😉
Just had coffee and desurt. was good
Nice place, visually... The salads we ordered were very bad. The waitress didnt even come and check if were alright and if the food is fine. Not paying attention at all... Did not offer to change our dish when we said we disliked them. Quite a bad experience, and quite expensive...
not suitable for large groups (as much as you can call to a group of more than 6 people "a large group").we waited for a table more than 30 minutes - unbelievable. When we finally sat, the staff was very kind but some meals were very disappointing and very small (The ARRAYS עראייס is super small).
Ive been there a few time before. The service (this timewas really slow and really bad. Took the staff forever to get our drinks, and there were not attentive. However, I will go again because the locations is good, the vegan options keep changing and usually the service is ok.
The place is actually recommend, esspecially for those seeking vegetarian friendly places. The menu is varied, tasty, and the place is open on weekends (i.e. Saturdays). However I have it three because the service lacks. Its way too indicate that it could be a great casual place, if the service is more professional, which is to say more attentive to patrons.
Rude hostess, she put her hand in my face when I only asked if they have place for two for breakfast, she ignored me and basically told me to shut up, so i left... not coming back again.
nice, quiet, clean, vintage styled, coffeehouse, fine food, great coffee, very good service, reasonable prices.
This place is beautiful and very busy, we were seated within two minutes and our order breakfast for two arrived within 5 minutes. Breakfast was aesthetic very tasty and surprisingly non standard. The waiters are always busy but efficient, I saw good communication between staff members. The terrace is opposite the stage with live music, inside is part of the old railway station building. Full marks. Recommended +
Great food. Young waiters who do not know much about service. Fools around and talk to each other instead of caring for the guests. But the food is excellent.
Outside tables and breakfast all day
Not bad - waiters spoke English, and although the service was slow, the food was okay. Nice place to go when everything else is closed on a Saturday.
The pasta and chicken was awesome. Great outside atmosphere and open in the Shabat
Okay heres the Plus: its open on Shabbat for lunch. Food was okay but service left a lot to be desired. For a restaurant that is frequented by American tourists, the restaurant management should make more of an effort to have English-speaking staff which could have prevented multiple misunderstandings.
My wife and I stopped to eat at this place. We ordered two salads and after waiting an hour (ridiculously long!), both of them were served to us with missing ingredients which the menu clearly stated. We sent the salads back and they added the missing ingredients. In addition we did not receive an apology or compensation. Apart from the great location there is nothing good to recommend about this restaurant.
Its convenient. The food average. As is the service. But its a nice place in a convenient area. We go there often
Forget the fact the kids order arrived half an hour after the rest of the food. When we pointed to the manager that the couch we were sitting on hasnt been cleaned in like forever and were sitting in filth including, among many other types of garbage, dirty stockings (!He made a face like "hmmmm interesting" and didnt even bother cleaning it or sending someone else to clean it. Stay away! Far, far away!In the photo: dirty silk stockings. Must be some partying after hours, but for Gods sake, clean it up people!
Loved the vegan breakfest - its large and can be enough for two (not very hungrypeople. The location is nice, but a little noisy. The service is a little slow, but didnt harm the overall experience.
Theres a nice variety of vegan dishes and the food itself is pretty good.Unfortunately, the dishes are very small considering the price and ingredients. No need for a restaurant to cheap out on rice...
