Private Bag A 216, Maseru, Lesotho, Mohale’s Hoek
On the site of a 19th-century inn and trading post, this relaxed hotel complex is less than 1 km from the A2 motorway and a 15-minute walk from the Maseru Golf Course.Simple rooms feature flat-screen TVs and en suite bathrooms. Suites add separate living and sleeping areas. Additional accommodations include round, thatch-roofed cottages, plus houses with kitchens. Wi-Fi and room service are available.Parking is complementary, as is breakfast. A cosy restaurant with a traditional mountain chalet vibe features colourful paintings by a local artist. Additional amenities include a hip cocktail bar, and an outdoor pool with sunloungers.
Its not a bad place
The hotel is under new management and it is currently a hive of activity with construction in progress. Whilst the hotel is neat and well maintained there are opportunities for improvement in the standard of rooms as the facilities somehow dated. However, The hotels public areas are immaculately maintained with great lighting and classy wooden panelling. The breakfast is rather limited but well however, reasonably well prepared.
Enjoyed my stay and staff friendly and professional.
Its always good to be home
The room I got was huge but honestly pretty sad. Bathroom door didnt close all the way, furniture was broken down and dingy, and there was a constant parade of ants along the wall for the four days I was there. I know the place is undergoing renovations and that the rooms that have been finished are much nicer, so maybe when its all done these problems will be a thing of the past. The restaurant is great for dinner and they will serve you at the poolside tables, which is fab. The breakfast is uninspired, however, so youre better off going to the cafe inside the Alliance francaise across the street.
Busy with renovations, conviently situated in town.
Had problems with the room and I didnt like the way the manager handled the issue. He eventually gave me a better room after complaining about the other room.
Nice hotel in the Maseru CBD, could do with a few touch ups on the maintenance side
Lancers Inn is cool and very secured place to be in Maseru. The staff and the people generally are cool. They provide an amazing service with a smile 😃
Nice rooms, reasonable price. Safe and clean. We enjoyed Lancers Inn very much!
very nice place to stay. we stay for two weeks. I suggest doing self catering because it’s pretty expensive to pay for meals. but if you need A restaurant there is called oh la la across the street. there is a pool , parking.
Relaxing spot and very well hidden in the very centre of Maseru. Broad set of options regarding food and drinks. Not the cheapest and quite an international crowd and less locals. The restaurant seems to be a spot for expats and tourists and not so many people from Lesotho.
I would like to thank Mathabo Pea for being a good and faithful employee. My boss left her chain(neck piece by mistake in her room and Mathabo found it and took it to her seniors. Please continue to be this good in your job and you will go far. Thank you Lancers for hiring good staff.
You have to buy WiFi bundles however good hospitality
A reasonable price for a reasonable hotel. The restaurant also offers great dinner options.
Lancers Inn Garden Rondawels are comfortable accommodations in the heart of Maseru. Really enjoyed our dinner next to the fireplace.
The excellent service all the time every time! Very friendly staff. Great food and a lovey overall experience.
The accomodation is nice, the WiFi works for an hour then you have to buy more...even if you booked at the place.
Lovely Hotel, Staff always willing to assist and everything always in order. Great breakfast.
Less than mediaoclry. Probalby excettable. Owners are reluctant to talk to guest to find talk out the best way to resolve issus. So sad to year that. So mukcle opetional
Nice accommodation with a decent restaurant. Gives you the feeling that youre not in the city. Breakfast is not included and WiFi is available via vouchers that are purchased from reception.
Well hidden gem. Had the Chinese Chicken, which was great. Facilities are well spread out, with options of traditional hotel room, or outside Rondavel. A pool rounds of ons those hot afternoons...
One of the oldest Hotels and restaurants, where you can chill with friends and family, very nice English breakfasts
Great accommodation right in the CBD. Certain rooms could.be better maintained.
I was there for a drink with my cousin and I certainly enjoyed the bar and restaurant atmosphere. Nothing too much, it was actually quite chilled.Their service was also quite good. They even have Wi-Fi and the drinks prices were not bad hey. Go enjoy a chiiled afternoon or evening vibe by yourself or with a friend. They also have a nice outside area by the restaurant side, you can take quite a few good snaps that side.
It was a good place but I reported no lighting in the bathroom and spent two nights without light.
A zero would be better suited to be honest. Im watching my family finish up their food while I still wait for my lunch to arrive. No explanation from anyone, at all. Would not recommend to anyone.
Had two meals and drinks for meetings here.Food was really good and priced just right. Nice place, secure parking, will go again.
Extremely friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and secure parking. The Maluti beer on tap in the pub is a great way to beat the summer heat. Restaurant serves excellent steaks.
Friendly staff and great service. Rooms were nice and food at the restaurant was good.
Lesotho is cold. But that hotel has one of the best fireplace and lamb stew. Enjoyed
Great place with great food at a great price. What more can you ask for?
Best accommodation in Maseru. Excellent restaurant with reasonably priced food. Servws well known wine brands and local beer.
This is cool place, they provide good services almost everything that you need is readily available.
Its a wow hotel.. Great hospitality, friendly staff, good rooms, breakfast.. Everything is wow
The food was very good and the service was so good and rooms very good
Is a lovely place to stay while in Maseru with spacious rooms. I didnt like the fact that I had to pay to access WiFi.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is very homely and welcoming. The food is a bit bland, lacks creativity and a bit below standard. It could do with a menu review but overall they have friendly staff & good service. The dessert is absolutely amazing. Worth the visit if you have a sweet tooth.
Actually I go to St Johns Anglican church adjacent to lancers Inn Sundays are usually quite and parking space remains well controlled by efficient security
The place is nice and clean. Hotel employees are polite and friendly. Breakfast is also very reasonable. However some rooms are quite small and I found them to be little uncomfortable for two people
Lancers Inn is the most convenient lodging place in Maseru. It is located along the main Street. It is suitable for you whether you are driving or not. I have concluded sealed my deals while having coffee here. Great service, great food and friendly staff
Nyc and cool place to stay in it has pool braai stands and its near to the shops
Good service, very tranquil accommodations despite being in the middle of the city.
Always the best place to chill, have a nice and undisturbed conversation with the girls while enjoying warm reception from ever smiling staff
The food is awesome. The rooms can be better, but still good.
The hotel is nice in terms of service, clean and tidy surroundings, staff is friendly.
Beautiful and located in the very city centre. And the restaurant serves the best steak fillet in Maseru!
A comfortable and very central place to stay with quite a good restaurant
The rooms are warm and comfortable, the food good and the service efficient. I prefer the hotel rooms over the chalets - I was initially put in a chalet and asked to move - 5 minutes later Emmanuel at reception had moved me! (The kingklip is a better dinner choice over the trout).
This is place can be highly recommended if you are looking for accommodation in the heart of the city of Maseru.
