Lancaster Raouche Hotel in Baabda

One of my favorite hotels in Beirut. If you are looking for ocean view, this is not the one. But it’s walking distance to the ocean. They give you access to their other beach resort. The staff are super friendly and not pushy. Electricity WiFi was good considering what the country is going thru. The hotel is next to a 24 hr mini market, barber, cafes, breakfast places and more. For the price and location, it’s great.

although the location is great, upon entering the hotel it’s oddly hot in the lobby, bad service( we’ve been waiting 30 minutes in the hot lobby waiting for a roomthe lady on the front desk is giving me a attitude and won’t give us the room even though it’s ready and we booked the day before. it’s a really nice hotel but, the service isn’t the best

Very lovely staff members, always ready to answer questions and help you with everything you need, nice rooms and tasty food.We requested late checkout and they did not want to say no and leave it for another talk they cared about our experience in their hotel.

This hotel need new management that pay more attention on renewvation the roomsEverything is old and also the maintenance need huge attentionThe power sockets are loose or some not working, the door hinge is loose that could lead anyone inter your room while youre sleepThe card key is very old and not working most of the time.Small TV screen with not working remote.

The rooms stink. They are not clean. I requested a non smoking room and both rooms smelled like smoke. Bathrooms were gross and bugs were everywhere! ! The door did not seem secure and was not evened out so bugs got in easily. The second room was full of gnats.The mildew smell and humidity in the air. I will not recommend this place unless this is a very last hotel. I don’t even know how they got this rating. The staff were respectful but they are the reason for the poor hygiene of the rooms. I even walked pass a room that had old filthy mattresses stacked almost to the ceiling!

Perfect location, customer service very poor, management dose not want to communicate with customers, the only manager whom sounded care from lancaster Eden Bay.

Great place to stay, staff are soo professional, attendant, the food as well is perfect, quality in every bite. Prices are among the best in the area. And the location is just ideal, youll find everything nearby.

This hotel is not even worth a star. Very bad customer service. They dont know what theyre doing. I dont recommend this for my worst enemy.

The room is dirty, dirty pillows,dirty bathroom. the food is very bad and very expensive for what it is, I ordered a pizza and the dough is horrible and it has ketchup instead of sauce as it says on the menu and very bad service and the wifi is veeeeery badd this is like a motel

Dont even go there. Rooms are dirty. Motel 6 is better. Very bad customer service. At check out the manager asked how was our stay. I told him and showed him pictures he acted like he cares he was sorry about the bad experience. He gave me his business card and offered me a complementary stay on my next visit since this one was prepaid through Priceline. 3 weeks later I called him up to book a room he acted like he doesnt know me or remember what happened. Make sure not to go there and waste a penny at this place. At the same rate you will find a better and cleaner hotel.

Sometimes I stay here during my transit to/from Syria. It is a nice hotel; however, some of the reception desk personnel should improve their politness. Moreover, they should pay attention that it is considered rude if they start to help someone and al the sudden a person who speak Arabic (rudely interrupt the conversationreceives more attention than you who already under the process of help. Considering that the international organizations staff are regular guest here; therefore, such ettitude is considered a bad business action. However, the hotel as accommodation is good, location is also good close to the shore (walking distance). I still would recommend to try them out.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is adequate nothing special. Location of the hotel is good and there are restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Great place with very friendly service. I attended a meeting there and needed to keep a medicine at cool temperature, the host there accomodated me very kindly and kept my med in their refrigerator. I found that service very endearing and highly recommend staying in such a welcoming place.

Decent hotel. the rooms can be a little noisy and most dont have a great view but if youre looking for a basic place in Raouche, its a good location.

Unhelpful rude staff called them 3 times for the WiFi and no response......

Amazing place, priced well and 100% Lebanese staff. They can offer you an early check in and late check out when available.. free airport transfers. Reception and people who works there are great, polite, helpful and welcome you with a smile.highly recommended. the surroundings are quite and near Raouche stone and beach.. a lot of high end cafes and restaurants walking distance and 24/7 supermarket less than 1 min walk to cover your essential needs. we have booked 3 rooms for 5 days .. it was an amazing stay and we will always go back there whenever we have a chance to visit Beirut again.Thank you guys!!

Good prices for luxurious suites in Rawsheh area. I liked the restaurant.Best choice for families.

It is a good hotel clean staff are friendly breakfast is good. Hotel offer complementary airport transfer. The area around the hotel is nice for walking and/or other activities. Price is reasonable for the services

The staff in this hotel are very rude, the reception staff has no communication skills whatsoever, my mother and I had a very bad experience here, its such a disappointment because besides that the location is what made us choose this hotel to stay in, even though we have had previous bad experiences there, but we thought maybe it wouldnt happen again, but they proved that the rudeness they have will always repeat itself. Worst reception staff ever!!

The worst place to stay in for a vacation, the service is very bad, bathroom needed renovation as it was leaking all the time, and the staff were very rude and every time the do something for you the keep waiting for a tip.

It’s the worst hotel ever. The staff are not helpful and very rude. The elevators are not only for the guest but also used for cleaning staff. I found the cleaning staff take down the garbage bags in the guest elevators since they don’t have service lifts. We have to wait 5 mins for us to either go up to our rooms or go down to lobby. There is no AC in the corridors. They are charging too high for the service and quality of the hotel

It is a good hotel for the money. I am not sure about the 4 star rating, I believe it should be more a 3 star hotel. The staff was relatively friendly, but the room on the non-smoking floor smelled like smoke plus the whatever spray hotels use to remove smell. It was clean though. Once again, for the price and the location, it was a good deal.

Nice place I made my wedding there friendly staff and helpful nice rooms clean and tidy room service are very good cleaning service everyday once and more upon ur request great location near the seaside street of Beirut and u have many options around u to go out for activities or having fun , burger king next to u if u wanna have a nice cheap fast food meal valet service available and they are good , food are delicious they offer free breakfast for all guest many and great options for breakfast including the delicious traditional lebanese food I recommend this place for couples and families.

Good hotel with medium level service... Very well located, the shuttle to the airport is really helpful and the staff are so nice...

Price quality ratio is ok (as long as you get a promotion). Staff is kind and they organise free airport shuttle: clearly a plus if you want to avoid negotiating the tariff with a taxi driver or if you do not use uber.

Good hotel. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Reasonable prices if big group. Sea view. eVault. Good breakfast. Wi-fi $10 but for 2 users only even if renting 3 bedrooms suite :(
