Lana Tralee Asian Street Food in Tra Li

Amazing chicken panang curry. Fried rice and pad kee mao were good but bland compared to the curry. Great service. Seriously amazing curry - one of the best I’ve had in my life and I’ve had Thai from all over the world, including Thailand. The restaurant definitely felt owned by authentic Thai people. Parking is a bit of a pain to find.

This is an Asian Street food located on Ashe Street, Tralee, Co. Kerry. Foods are very nice here but if you Asian origin, you may want to request less sweet. (for curries dishesYour main course will entitled you a complimentary ice-cream at unlimited time. Staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. The Asian Green vegetables was chopped nicely, easy to chew. Good portion for the price.

hi everyone, i am in ireland 3 years now and this was by far the best meal ive had. i was very impressed. it was very clean. friendly staff and delicious. i would defintely recommend it.

Needed a nice place with vegan options to eat for lunch and I got a beautiful Thai curry from Lana—perhaps a little bit expensive.I like how everything is packaged in paper or card, so no plastic to deal with.(I later discovered this curry isnt vegan but I still eat there regularly and indulge in their other vegan options. Make sure to check for the V symbol on the menu.)

We really like the food and hospitality of the place. Food was really good and the host plus helpsThe thing we didnt like was 1toilets have no seats to sit :(2one of the waiters (litterally)snatched our menus after ordering...we wanted to look for some more time... probably they have less menus...dont know

Prices might come across a little on the expensive side, but its 100% worth it. I always go for the Crispy Sweet Chilli Chicken which never fails to impress. On busy days it can fill up and get cramped (ishquickly. The staff are very lovely too. And you also get complementary ice cream!

Mild curry broth/ sauce is Devine ! I could drink it on its own.Great portions of chicken in meals . Very tasty had to go back a second night.Next time I will try the prawn curry. If the curry is that tasty , I bet the prawns will be Devine in that sauce .

In wok food meat is prepared separately from sauce so meet doesnt have that taste as it should.In chilly and cashew nut sauce I liked that cashew nuts has been roasted before putting in sauce. Sauce could be ticker.

Fast and tasty, the calimari was over cooked and chewy, the dipping sauce with it wasnt to my taste to think and a but to sour. The main dish was beautiful very tasty and fresh with good portion sizes.

Maybe food is delicious. Cant say....But I have to wait my salad 25 min. No customers. Just me.How its possible???

Spent 23 on food for takeaway lunch time Saturday duck salad got 4 strips of cold duck on a handful of carrot dont know where the salad went ??? edamame beans which wre over priced were microwaved and inedible not washed or seasoned completely disgusted as it used to be one of my favorite spots to eat

Great food, quality service & real friendly staff. Ive been going here a few years now on friday evenings (friday treat )for my Asian food fix 🙂The food here is consistently top quality and delicious. Great efficient service for takeaways either online or ordering in person. Both options will give you an estimated time of when your food will be ready. I have dined in here also before covid restrictions and its an all round enjoyable experience.

Ordered from Lana for the 1st time this evening. It was A1 service, very friendly and welcoming despite being up the walls busy. The food is delicious and very generous portions. Well definitely be back!!!

Was waiting 35mins for my order as it was never sent to the kitchen. Also forgot 4 items from a large order. Would have been 1 star only for the fact the manager was extremely apologetic and gave us a voucher for the next order and also agreed to deduct 4 starters from next order. Just seemed to be a bad day in the office! Food was very good on the plus side. Would encourage to ring to confirm large orders.

Spur of the moment decision to try Lana for Saturday night takeaway treat (sick of cooking), excellent decision! Went for the Special noodles because I didnt have my glasses and couldnt quite figure out the print on the menu, so it was a case of point and hope for the best. Service (all takeaway for Covidwas quick, efficient & pleasant, screens up and plenty of sanitiser, lots of space in the waiting area so no worries about SD, I was told a wait of maybe 20 minutes, seemed more like 10. Excellent containers, the food was still piping hot when I got home (and bio-degradable too, all good)Lots of flavour & texture, fresh ginger lemongrass chilli, chicken & prawn, happy lick-the-plate food, excellent value (€10.95 I think), pleasantly full afterwards and eager to work my way through the menu.Obviously a popular choice, they were busy with phone, internet & drop- in custom, but consistently polite & can-do, highly recommended. Its great street food!

Have had much nicer meals from their quality of food has declined significantly recently. Prices have also gone up. Doesnt justify with the quality of food going down. Hopefully theyll realise and get back to serving good food

Very clean and well equipped to deal with covid-19 guidelines. Fast turn around and vey friendly staff. Very generous portion sizes and priced good too.But eating in your food is served in the takeaway boxes, probably trying to replicate street food but what an absolute waste of packaging and creation of unnecessary rubbish.Your starter and main course arrive at the same time. Absolutely ridiculous.The food was very much lacking in flavour. I got the veg spring rolls and Lana special fried rice and no flavour in either to be honest. Id give it a miss, you wont be missing out on anything.

One of the best places to eat in Tralee. During covid it has resulted largely to a takeaway but has previously operated as a sit in restaurant too. Really friendly staff with excellent tasty food

I love the selection of food and the great service. The food is true to Asian taste and the fusion dishes would suit both a Western and Eastern customer! Brilliant interiors and delicious food, must visit when going to Tralee!

Very tasty food!! Staff are all very friendly and inviting, food is quick but you can tell it is all freshly cooked and fresh ingredients! Always busy and good atmosphere

Really good food everything iv got has been 10/10 but my only negative is if you order in your food for collection, its so busy on the weekends you end up standing waiting in the restaurant for your food while people are sitting trying to enjoy their food. Surely a delivery service would solve this issue as its clearly too busy to continue the way ye are.

We visited this place while and was amazed by the friendly staff and great food. I myself has the tried the beef dish as my main and really liked it. We will be deffo coming back here in the future a big plus for us :)

Can’t believe how rude the cashier girl was basically through my change and never siad thank you. She was so rude. Dark hair and blouse. Other members of staff who took our order and the guy where lovely pity about the attitude on the cashier girls it really brings down the business. Food was nice

Really tasty food. Great choice and youre able to mix and match and make up a meal you like. I travel to Tralee once a year and always find time to have lunch here. Staff are really helpful and happy

One of the best Asian restaurants in Kerry, the food is wonderful and ranges for all tastes. The staff are so friendly and accommodating to specific requests. I would eat from here at least 3 times a month and have never had a meal that I did not enjoy. And let’s not forget the free whipped ice cream with your meal :-). Highly recommend this place

Sweet and sour chicken was the worst we have eaten. Tough. Sinewy and just unfit for consumption. I have been here once before and we gave it a 2nd chance. Staff very nice and service good. Table cleared asap once we had eaten so we all left .

Food is excellent either take-away or sit down. The kids love the do it yourself ice-cream cone or tub after your food. Portion size is good and very reasonably priced.

You walk in and youre greeted by the warm staff. They cater very well for toy there and the restaurant is a warm,stylish and cosy place. Amazing food options and large meal portions make it the perfect night out.

Feel like I cant really give this place 1 star because we didnt even eat there. We waited for 10 minutes to be seated, staff walking all around us and not even acknowledging us or looking us in the eye until we walked up to the counter to be told there was no table for two. Which was fine. But it took 10 minutes to even be acknowledged and when we were the waitress was rude and blunt and seemed like she couldnt get us out of there fast enough. Will not be going back. Plenty of other Asian street food restaurants that will make customers feel welcome.The people who were eating looked happy though.

The meal was really disappointing and not even close to the average Lanas standard elsewhere. Staff is great so I feel bad giving the place just one star, but its about food and our meal would best be described as overcooked rice with traces of cooked lettuce. We were a group of 3, each ordered a different item on the menu and sides.

Great food at great prices.Ive tried a dozen or more items on the menu and loved them all.I could easily just eat five portions of their crispy peppered chicken starter and skip the mains!

Great place for quick food, a lot of gluten free options here. Kids really like the place too. Menu is expansive and appears to have something for everyone. Would definitely recommend if you want to walk in off the street for a snack.

Best Asian food you’ll eat in Tralee! Cozy ambiance, well served dishes and delicious food. I don’t recommend the spring rolls though, but the noodles are amazing. I wish I had remembered to take a photo before devoting it all :P

Service ok. Food ok. BBQ pork ribs were hot, very hot! Now the CRISPY peppered chicken wasnt so crispy... Seemed to have been made earlier and just reheated...meant to be crispy but rather on the soft and rubbery side. Oh and self service ice cream on your choice of cone or cup is included.
