Lampuga in Mexico City

Gran lugar para hacer eventos al aire libre en su patio trasero, buena comida y bebida en un lugar muy bonito y con excelente atención.

Very good mediterranean food and cocktails. Very pleasant stuff. My recommendation for Mexico City.

Overpriced but very nice ambiance, we enjoyed the food but It was not amazing.

Really lovely ambiance (especially the small rear courtyard), fantastic service and the food is excellent. We loved the tacos, got one of each, kids loved the pasta and hamburger. They also loved the little kids table set up in the back with puzzles and drawing stuff, what a perfect touch for early diners. We’ll be back many times I’m sure.

Beautiful restaurant! Was packed on a Sat around 3pm and might be better to make a reservation if you have a big group.We sat at outside table which was surrounded by greenery. There was a family next to us with two young kids and the restaurant prepared a small colorful table for the kids which they played at. It was so thoughtful!Food was great but not the best for the price range, my onion soup was not the best I had, I had to ask the staffs to reheat it.I recommended the restaurant to my best friend who went on a date night. Her review was 100% and she had seafood dishes unlike us which might have changed my rating.Overall was a wonderful place with professional staffs.

Linda decoración del lugar, la terraza es muy acogedor. La recepción atenta y amable, el servicio está a la altura del lugar y la cocina (seguro dejarás buena propina, Yo lo hicelos alimentos con muy buena presentación y un sabor fresco y singular, el menú en su mayoria abarca pescados y mariscos en variedad. Las bebidas muy bien servidas. El único detalle que no me encantó, la mafia de los valet en la calle por que no hay quien te reciba el auto y estacionarlo ahi te costará $150 de menos. Por lo demás: grata experiencia, muy recomendable. Buena suerte!¡

Excellent food & service!

Te dan un servicio de 4 salsas, te explican de qué son y qué tan picosas son. La preparación de los alimentos es tardada pero son de buena calidad, buen sabor, recomiendo el fideo seco con camarón y pescado. Los postres deliciosos, recomiendo el strudel de manzana. Al final te dan paletas de hielo de limón y un shot digestivo de cortesía (fuertes), mi favorito el de limón.

Lampuga es uno de aquellos restaurantes que raramente falla. Bien ubicado en el corazón de Polanco ofrece comida internacional orientada hacia frutos de mar. Como entradas las tostadas, cubos de atún cantinero y sopes de jaiba, una delicia. Ensaladas, sopas y tacos muy recomendables y de variedad en su oferta, muy interesantes. Platos fuertes spaghetti con almejitas al vino blanco (mejor sin alcaparras), soberbio y todo lo que es de mar muy recomendado. Buen trato y servicio, se notan bien entrenados. Elegante, amplio, bien iluminado y música agradable. Buen lugar. Recomendado para familia y amigos, ocasional para negocios. Probablemente con Restaurante Pisco Grill de lo mejor en la zona para degustar gastronomía de mar, de agua y con una pizca de sal.

Lugar tranquilo y bien atendido. Carta extensa y variada, bien preparado todo y muy sabroso. Hay carnes y pescados. Se puede clasificar de caro, pero para la zona es un precio medio. La carta de vinos es buena y variada en cuanto a procedencia.

We eat lampuga restaurant we get very sick, the food was terrible the water was from the sink. We back home Canada very sick we dont suggest this restaurante! Is terrible also everyone smoking inside dont respect you if you have allergy or the other people like eat with smell smoking! Terrible restaurant never come back NEVER

Delicious food and great service

A few things went wrong. Even they had free tables they squeezed us between 2 tables, those reservations never came. We kept asking to be relocated without success, we ended up helping ourselves in the matter. The waiter spilled half a mezcal on the table, he didnt even say sorry and refused to refill it. We asked for our hamburger cut in half, they didnt so the waiter did it at our table, ruining it completely, I told him the least he could do is give us another bun, which took them 10 minutes. Tasteless and loud music selection, straight out from an h&m store, all though Id say its a zone problem, all the restaurants around seem to play that music.

Impecable. Especialidad en mariscos, grandes clásicos en la carta. Ingredientes de primera calidad. Amplia lista de vinos y bien servicio de bar. Postres memorables, en especial la Copa de Merengue y Fresa. El Chef Emanuelle Zuñiga ha logrado un buena fusión de comida mediterránea co acentos mexicanos.

Went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Made a reservation and got a table in the back patio. Despite the hot day, we felt great in the shaded area. Food was very tasty. For appetizer I had a plate of thinly sliced octopus with lettuce and a olive oil. My main course was fish tacos. We also shared a sope of soft shell crab. For dessert we shared a crema catalana - amazing. Service was good and price was fair (and cheaper than other nearby restaurants). Great experience. Would go back.

I was pleasantly surprised about the price. The seafood is excellent, ask for the chefs special of the day.

Excellent food and service in a very well achieved atmosphere in the heart of Polanco, one of the most picturesque and traditional high-class areas of Mexico city. I recommend the roasted octopus, cooked to perfection and incredibly tasty. Good selection of beers and wines as well. Price is good for what you get, and relatively cheaper than nearby restaurants, which can be as expensive as fine dining in London or New York.
