Very nice, it has a lot of interesting plants, a swimming pool, a store where they make chocolates, and a restaurant serving local food.

I did not expected it to be that beautiful but it is! We had the chance to find less people on that day so we took all pictures we wanted!

Nice small castle. Great to spend at least 2hrs in the town. There are 2 plazas in this town. Make sure you see them both. 10 soles is the entrance fee.

One mans folly is another mans delight. An enjoyable place to visit as is a stroll around town and down into the Wakyu area.

Took my Father to visit my Mothers homeland. She was born way long before that place was even a tourist spot. It’s a beautiful place to see the agriculture Lamas offers and relive the history

It was built in 2005 by an excéntrico Italian. It’s beautifully designed and a good visit if you are in the area. Some local art is on display in the castle. Not really a history destination, just cool to see that someone would commission to have a castle built.

Beautiful castle build by a ruthless lover who prison his wife in feer of leaving him. Place that you need too see. The architecture and art is definitely worth stopping by

Who has not dreamed of thier prince/princess and their castle, now your prince/princess can take you to a castle hidden away in the peruvian rainforest. There you can walk the castle of your dreams, get pictures of a dragon and even a mermaid. Absolutely breathtaking views. And at the end of it all, your prince/princess can purchase hand crafted gifts from locals, enjoy some wine and chocolate. What more can you ask for?

Castle was only build years ago. But looks amazing!!!

There are no credits on any of the arts in this castle. No informations about the history unless you buy a guided tour. It has not even something to do with the little town. Absolute nonsense. Its just like visiting a privat house in form of a castle with castellike cliche decoration. Even visiting a castle in disneyland would be more interesting

Tourist trap but kids loved it.

Very interesting place. Alot of history. Entry is reasonable 2 dollars. Took about 45 minutes to go through. Would take longer if you read Spanish. Everyone was friendly. I used Google translate to ask questions. In the end of the tour take time to watch the ladies make pottery. Souvenir pottery was only a dollar for small and I think 5 for large

Not well maintained, everyone can touch anything, they installed a large pool... Hardly anything seems original. The view is awesome.

It was a bit of a drive, but there most unusual modern construction of a castle this side of Disneyland. My thanks to the owner for sharing this with the public.

Extreemly unusual and certainly unexpected to find an exquisite castle in this location, but fascinating and very picturesque - my camera phone does not do it justice.

A great castle built by an italian citizen who is currently living in there. Its located in Lamas Tarapoto. I recommend visiting this nice attractive place!
